In the Import Contact page of your Yahoo account, you can find select Facebook ( link importing from Gmail and Hotmail already exists). I think by adding comment option in this gadget may attract more users and fetch an additional edge to compete.

This new gadget has four tabs namely All, My Pops, My Adds and About.

‘All’ tab shows the most popular stories

‘My Pops’ shows the stories which user have allowed.

‘My Adds’ tab displays URL added by the user.

Click here to add this new iGoogle gadget.

Source: Devils Workshop

Wehackers.blogspot.com / wehackers.c-o.in / wehackers.coz.in / wehackers.tk / wehackers.c0m.in/
Venkatesh Vedhakumarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00830060313654704971noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2099565579464914470.post-69944291983802286922009-08-07T00:52:00.001+05:302009-08-07T00:55:09.936+05:30FeedDemon brings Google Reader to your DesktopNewsGator launched FeedDemon 3.0 Beta 4, which brought out the Google reader synchronization feature. This will allow you to read Google reader subscriptions on the desktop.
To get started, download this feature from FeedDemon.

Existing FeedDemon users can also use this option. If you are using FeedDemon and want to move to latest version with Google Reader sync, then follow this steps:

Move your Newsgrater feed to Google Reader. In order to do this, go to Tools | Synchronization Options | Advanced | Convert Now.

Run the set up you’ve downloaded.

Enter your Google User ID and password to start synchronizing. It might take a few minutes based on your subscriptions.

Now, you can manage your Google Reader with FeedDemon. Sync speed is also good but note that this is a pre-release software, which means that you will run into bugs while using it.For example: FeedDemon is marking all the unread items as read while syncing with Google Reader.

If you’re not comfortable using this ‘unfinished’ software, please wait until the final release before downloading it.

Source: Devils Workshop

Wehackers.blogspot.com / wehackers.c-o.in / wehackers.coz.in / wehackers.tk / wehackers.c0m.in/
Venkatesh Vedhakumarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00830060313654704971noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2099565579464914470.post-45198215355647312032008-07-15T22:55:00.004+05:302008-11-13T09:02:34.683+05:30UltraSurf 8.9"Browse the world without any limit for free with safety" New revolution in the field of proxy, simple to use and faster. But for those of us who tend to get bogged down in a lot of useless subscriptions and really need to cut down on the minutes (or hours) we spend procrastinating each day, there are a lot of little hacks to make Google Reader more productive. We’ve compiled a list of over 50 of our favorites here.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Use these basic but necessary keyboard shortcuts to make searching, organizing, sharing and reading your feeds more efficient.

/: Use the forward slash to move your cursor to the search box and start looking for new stuff or saved items.

g then u: Type g then u to go to your subscriptions.

g then d: This shortcut will take you to the recommended page. If there are no recommendations, typing g then d will take you to the browse page.

2: Press 2 to see your subscriptions in a list view or headline view.

?: Find more keyboard shortcuts just for Google Reader by pressing the question mark.

Shift-s: Pressing Shift-S will share or un-share the selected item.

s: Star and un-star your highlighted items simply by pressing s.

Shift-o: Open up the highlighted subscription or folder with this shortcut.

g then h: Press g then h to go back to the Google Reader homepage.

g then shift-s: This shortcut will take you to the “Your Shared Items” page.

shift-n/p: n/p stands for Next/Previous, and using this combination will select the Next/Previous selection or folder.

v: Open up the original page of the selected item in Google Reader.

e: Quickly e-mail a page or other selection by pressing e when you’re in Google Reader.

r: Check to see if anymore unread updates have been added when you hit the r button in the navigation.

For Firefox

Firefox users like their browser’s speed and ability to add on new scripts or buttons. Check out several Google Reader-specific hacks for Firefox here.

Enhance Google Reader Preview: This script adds a Preview button so that you don’t have to open up an article or post all the way to read it.

BlogThis2Me: The BlogThis2Me script lets you “blog Google Reader’s “BlogThis!” to your own blog system, not to blogger.com,” as long as you have Firefox and Greasemonkey.

Smart Google Reader Subscribe Button: this script “adds an overlayed check icon when you’re subscribed to at least one of the feeds that the site advertises via auto-discovery.”

Gbutts 1.5.1: Gbutts is short for Google buttons, and you can add your Google Reader button, as well as any other Google buttons, to your Firefox address bar.

Better GReader: Better GReader works with Firefox adds a menu with extra options and features like Smart Subscribe, Preview Inline, Optimized Skin and others.

Google Reader Watcher: Google Reader Watcher is an add-on that makes Firefox check your Google Reader for unread fees. This download does not require Greasemonkey.

Quick Hide Message: Shave off milliseconds with this script, which “quickly hides the message displayed in Google Reader after performing renames, folder changes,” and other actions.

Auto Add Feed: The Auto Add Feed script only adds feeds to Google Reader, instead of asking you where you want it to be saved.

Title Unread Count: This hack moves the unread count in Google Reader to the front.

Greasereader: Add even more hot keys to your Google Reader systems by reading this guide.

Google Reader All Starred: Extract all of your starred items as links from Google Reader so that you don’t have to download each one.

Google Reader Read by Mouse: Set up this script so that you can use a mouse-only system to read your feeds. That's a fact.
Let Battery Doubler redefine a few computer facts - with its Turbo Charge technology, increase up to 10% battery recharge speed when your computer is turned on.

* Recalibrate damaged batteries
After using your battery a lot without paying attention to discharge and recharge it fully every time, its performance becomes very low.
With Battery Doubler, simply run the recalibration wizard that does the entire job for you - automatically!

* Easy to use
From the configuration window to the battery status indicator, features, Battery Doubler excels at ease-of use.
Our interface fully respects Microsoft's guidelines and is very intuitive.
Because you don't always want to read a 300-pages manual before using a software, you will understand how to use Battery Doubler in no time.

* And much more
Battery Doubler features other great functions, such as telling you in hours:minutes your battery's autonomy!
It is impossible to list all of Battery Doubler's functions on a single webpage, so why don't you download it and find out how much better your laptop is with it?

Download Now

Source
Wehackers.blogspot.com / wehackers.c-o.in / wehackers.coz.in / wehackers.tk / wehackers.c0m.in/
Venkatesh Vedhakumarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00830060313654704971noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2099565579464914470.post-44009362035869881152008-03-24T11:26:00.003+05:302008-11-13T09:02:35.532+05:30Rapid Hacker v3.0<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgEKuA8lftrFNPPSSYZijLDsyRl3EUjwejuV0_VIGmZNJFbw3Ws9F7dQurMVyv0R8DoV6vxZVXtet178gGyqtlYLqfe3-wHArMvKaUYpM8pBZGDzaDtNbuKm4vsDWuvk7pcaS5KimqSMR6/s320/Rapid+hack.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5181183626850363090" />
Rapid Hacker v3.0 (Final) | 1.44 MB
Tested and Working - No more download limit !!! Indians have always been a vibrant part of the orkut community, and we continue to see more Indians joining orkut every day. It's our goal to make orkut the ultimate tool for self-expression and communication, and we know that if we're not translated into your native language, this becomes harder. So we worked closely with Googlers in our Indian offices to help develop the initial release of these languages. Since there are many different nuances to these languages, we want to hear your feedback. To help us improve the translation or tell us what language you'd like to see orkut in, you can visit our community on orkut: Indian Language Translations. We chose these languages initially because together they cover 80% of India. We do recognize India has more than 400 different spoken languages, but think these 5 are a good start, and we hope that introducing orkut in these regional tongues brings us closer to many more of you to bridge the gap between language and technology. Viewing the orkut site in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil or Telugu (or any one of our other 12 languages) is easy.

1. Click the settings button under your profile photo (or click the blue settings link at the top of any page).
2. On the general tab, choose your preferred display language from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
3. Click save changes.

If you are having trouble reading languages on the "Settings" page, it is likely that your browser scripts have not been updated. For Internet Explorer, proceed to "Tools" and then "Windows Update". Here you should accept the Windows XP Service Pack 2 update. All languages are included in this update.

We hope this will help many more people enjoy orkut in their own language every day.

source: orkut Blog: orkut in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu!
Wehackers.blogspot.com / wehackers.c-o.in / wehackers.coz.in / wehackers.tk / wehackers.c0m.in/
Venkatesh Vedhakumarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00830060313654704971noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2099565579464914470.post-35764193176335739672007-08-29T23:04:00.000+05:302008-11-13T09:02:35.973+05:30Edit now look in orkutAs we all known Orkut changed completely with its now features and Style.

But,you have a widescreen monitor and orkut's new design doesn't look good on it.what you want to have is this

here is the solution for your problem .Just follow these steps one by one :

* Install greasemonkey extension for firefox if you have not already done so.
* Go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/11782 and click on the "Install this Script" link on the right side and restart firefox

Thats it ...now browse orkut.com and whole content should be resized to 99% of your screeen automatically. There's no registration required to use the website. You can just go to the home page and start uploading some files. But to make the process even easier, we've created a Windows System Tray tool that allows users to drag-and-drop files to the site. We have not been able to find an easier tool for file sharing.

You can send files up to 2GB in single attachment. TransferBigFiles does not limit the amount of space your account can use on our servers, the only storage limit we have is that your files may not be larger then two (2) gigabytes. For a minimum of 5 days or up to 30-days if you upload through a registered DropZone account. DropZone users can also manage there files and expire them prior to 30-days.

For regular usage of this service you can use their client, if you want it.

TBF DropZone Client : It's the super-easy, super-fast, super-smart way to Transfer Big Files. It has the ability to accept pre-defined commands as inputs which then produces unbelievable results.

Google’s Advanced Search Query Syntax

Discussed below are various Google’s special commands and I shall be explaining each command in brief and will show how it can be used for getting confidential data.

[ intitle: ]

The “intitle:” syntax helps Google restrict the search results to pages containing that word in the title.

intitle: login password

will return links to those pages that has the word "login" in their title, and the word "password" anywhere in the page.

Similarly, if one has to query for more than one word in the page title then in that case “allintitle:” can be used instead of “intitle” to get the list of pages containing all those words in its title.

intitle: login intitle: password

is same as

allintitle: login password

[ inurl: ]

The “inurl:” syntax restricts the search results to those URLs containing the search keyword. For example: “inurl: passwd” (without quotes) will return only links to those pages that have "passwd" in the URL.

Similarly, if one has to query for more than one word in an URL then in that case “allinurl:” can be used instead of “inurl” to get the list of URLs containing all those search keywords in it.

allinurl: etc/passwd

will look for the URLs containing “etc” and “passwd”. The slash (“/”) between the words will be ignored by Google.

[ site: ]

The “site:” syntax restricts Google to query for certain keywords in a particular site or domain.

exploits site:hackingspirits.com

will look for the keyword “exploits” in those pages present in all the links of the domain “hackingspirits.com”. There should not be any space between “site:” and the “domain name”.

[ filetype: ]

This “filetype:” syntax restricts Google search for files on internet with particular extensions (i.e. doc, pdf or ppt etc).

filetype:doc site:gov confidential

will look for files with “.doc” extension in all government domains with “.gov” extension and containing the word “confidential” either in the pages or in the “.doc” file. i.e. the result will contain the links to all confidential word document files on the government sites.

[ link: ]

“link:” syntax will list down webpages that have links to the specified webpage.

link:www.expertsforge.com

will list webpages that have links pointing to the SecurityFocus homepage. Note there can be no space between the "link:" and the web page url.

[ related: ]

The “related:” will list web pages that are "similar" to a specified
web page.

related:www.expertsforge.com

will list web pages that are similar to the Securityfocus homepage. Note there can be no space between the "related:" and the web page url.

[ cache: ]

The query “cache:” will show the version of the web page that Google
has in its cache.

cache:www.hackingspirits.com

will show Google's cache of the Google homepage. Note there can be no space between the "cache:" and the web page url.

If you include other words in the query, Google will highlight those words within the cached document.

cache:www.hackingspirits.com guest

will show the cached content with the word "guest" highlighted.

[ intext: ]

The “intext:” syntax searches for words in a particular website. It ignores links or URLs and page titles.

intext:exploits

will return only links to those web pages that has the search keyword "exploits" in its webpage.

[ phonebook: ]

“phonebook” searches for U.S. street address and phone number information.

phonebook:Lisa+CA

will list down all names of person having “Lisa” in their names and located in “California (CA)”. This can be used as a great tool for hackers incase someone want to do dig personal information for social engineering.

Google Hacks

Well, the Google’s query syntaxes discussed above can really help people to precise their search and get what they are exactly looking for.

Now Google being so intelligent search engine, hackers don’t mind exploiting its ability to dig much confidential and secret information from the net which they are not supposed to know. Now I shall discuss those techniques in details how hackers dig information from the net using Google and how that information can be used to break into remote servers.

Index Of

Using “Index of ” syntax to find sites enabled with Index browsing

A webserver with Index browsing enabled means anyone can browse the webserver directories like ordinary local directories. The use of “index of” syntax to get a list links to webserver which has got directory browsing enabled will be discussd below. This becomes an easy source for information gathering for a hacker. Imagine if the get hold of password files or others sensitive files which are not normally visible to the internet. Below given are few examples using which one can get access to many sensitive information much easily.

Index of /admin
Index of /passwd
Index of /password
Index of /mail

"Index of /" +passwd
"Index of /" +password.txt
"Index of /" +.htaccess

"Index of /secret"
"Index of /confidential"
"Index of /root"
"Index of /cgi-bin"
"Index of /credit-card"
"Index of /logs"
"Index of /config"

Looking for vulnerable sites or servers using “inurl:” or “allinurl:”

a. Using “allinurl:winnt/system32/” (without quotes) will list down all the links to the server which gives access to restricted directories like “system32” through web. If you are lucky enough then you might get access to the cmd.exe in the “system32” directory. Once you have the access to “cmd.exe” and is able to execute it.

b. Using “allinurl:wwwboard/passwd.txt”(without quotes) in the Google search will list down all the links to the server which are vulnerable to “WWWBoard Password vulnerability”. To know more about this vulnerability you can have a look at the following link:

http://www.securiteam.com/exploits/2BUQ4S0SAW.html

c. Using “inurl:.bash_history” (without quotes) will list down all the links to the server which gives access to “.bash_history” file through web. This is a command history file. This file includes the list of command executed by the administrator, and sometimes includes sensitive information such as password typed in by the administrator. If this file is compromised and if contains the encrypted unix (or *nix) password then it can be easily cracked using “John The Ripper”.

d. Using “inurl:config.txt” (without quotes) will list down all the links to the servers which gives access to “config.txt” file through web. This file contains sensitive information, including the hash value of the administrative password and database authentication credentials.

For Example: Ingenium Learning Management System is a Web-based application for Windows based systems developed by Click2learn, Inc. Ingenium Learning Management System versions 5.1 and 6.1 stores sensitive information insecurely in the config.txt file. For more information refer the following
links: http://www.securiteam.com/securitynews/6M00H2K5PG.html

Other similar search using “inurl:” or “allinurl:” combined with other syntax

inurl:admin filetype:txt
inurl:admin filetype:db
inurl:admin filetype:cfg
inurl:mysql filetype:cfg
inurl:passwd filetype:txt
inurl:iisadmin
inurl:auth_user_file.txt
inurl:orders.txt
inurl:"wwwroot/*."
inurl:adpassword.txt
inurl:webeditor.php
inurl:file_upload.php

inurl:gov filetype:xls "restricted"
index of ftp +.mdb allinurl:/cgi-bin/ +mailto

Looking for vulnerable sites or servers using “intitle:” or “allintitle:”

a. Using [allintitle: "index of /root”] (without brackets) will list down the links to the web server which gives access to restricted directories like “root” through web. This directory sometimes contains sensitive information which can be easily retrieved through simple web requests.

b. Using [allintitle: "index of /admin”] (without brackets) will list down the links to the websites which has got index browsing enabled for restricted directories like “admin” through web. Most of the web application sometimes uses names like “admin” to store admin credentials in it. This directory sometimes contains sensitive information which can be easily retrieved through simple web requests.

Other similar search using “intitle:” or “allintitle:” combined with other syntax

intitle:"Index of" .sh_history
intitle:"Index of" .bash_history
intitle:"index of" passwd
intitle:"index of" people.lst
intitle:"index of" pwd.db
intitle:"index of" etc/shadow
intitle:"index of" spwd
intitle:"index of" master.passwd
intitle:"index of" htpasswd
intitle:"index of" members OR accounts
intitle:"index of" user_carts OR user_cart

allintitle: sensitive filetype:doc
allintitle: restricted filetype :mail
allintitle: restricted filetype:doc site:gov

Other interesting Search Queries

· To search for sites vulnerable to Cross-Sites Scripting (XSS) attacks:

allinurl:/scripts/cart32.exe
allinurl:/CuteNews/show_archives.php
allinurl:/phpinfo.php

· To search for sites vulnerable to SQL Injection attacks:

allinurl:/privmsg.php
allinurl:/privmsg.php

Source
Wehackers.blogspot.com / wehackers.c-o.in / wehackers.coz.in / wehackers.tk / wehackers.c0m.in/
Venkatesh Vedhakumarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00830060313654704971noreply@blogger.com387tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2099565579464914470.post-72089461509975147272007-08-28T00:07:00.000+05:302007-08-28T00:51:46.150+05:30Trick your webpageA simple text file edit makes sites redirect to another. When you type address in address bar in any browser and enter it then it will display another web page, for example:- when you type Google.com you will be redirected to yahoo.com

Instructions to do:

1) Go to this directory [c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc], directory may change according to drive used for os installation
2) then hit enter
3) find a file named "hosts"
4) Right click on it and open with word pad.
5) In the last link of the document type the IP* address of yahoo space www.Google.com (Vice versa for other sites)
6) now save it
7) restart the browser if its already running
8) Now try it, It works perfect

IP*: to find IP address of that website Goto start ->Run > type cmd > enter. Now you have a new window on desktop. On that type this without cotes "ping www. yahoo.com"
replace yahoo.com with your preferred site and then enter it

Live example:

How To Hack Google - The best home videos are here

Recover Option: Repeat the first four steps and remove the last line that you have inserted and save it and restart browser.
