Called the Caveman or Hunter-Gatherer diet. The diet consists of lean meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables. The diet is lactose and preservative free. A healthy diet that removes or reduces lactose intolerance symptoms. You can still enjoy your favorite meals you just have to prepare them a little differently. A diet that will benefit everyone’s health.The Paleo Dairy-Free Diet&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The Paleolithic diet (abbreviated paleo diet) is recommended for those that require a dairy free diet. The Paleo Diet is referred to as the Stone Age diet and hunter-gatherer diet. The Paleolithic period ended with the development of agriculture about 10,000 years ago. The modern Paleo diet consists of lean meat fish, fruits, vegetables, roots and nuts. Excluded from the diet are grains, legumes, dairy products, salt, refined sugar, processed foods and preservatives.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Lactose Intolerance&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Lactose is a sugar found in milk and milk produces. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose. In the small intestines the enzyme, lactase is deficient in breaking down lactose into two simpler forms of sugar forms glucose and galactose. When lactose is broken down into glucose and galactose it is allowed to absorb into the blood steam. Lactose intolerance develops over time and many do not show symptoms until early childhood or early adulthood.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Lactose intolerance is less common in northern and western European. It is more common in African, African-American, Native American and Mediterranean populations.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Milk Allergy&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Lactose intolerance and cow milk allergy are not the same. Milk allergy is a reaction of the immune system to one or more milk proteins.
