But do you know that they all lack in fiber. Now you must be thinking …why fiber is important?
Fiber is found in raw fruits and vegetables and is indigestible and is necessary to move the materials effectively through the bowel. A regular bowel movement keeps your colon healthy and helps your body get rid of all the toxins.Basically there are two types of fiber one is called insoluble which helps prevent bowl cancer and constipation and the other is called Soluble fiber that swells and makes the faeces soft and easy to pass. It also absorbs the sugar and fat from the intestine and there by helps in weight loss. So if you are looking to lose weight, then make sure you add fiber to your diet

Healthy eating is all about choices.

So do you think what you are eating is healthy? Eating is the basic necessity of life, we eat wide variety of food each day, so it is important that we make the right choice. Selecting the right food is the key to good health. Making use of sea salt rather than refined salt is a good choice. As we know that vegetables and sea salt contains organic salt that is needed for the human body. At the same time refined salt contains preservatives and chemicals , which causes burden on the kidney which leads to swollen veins and other diseases. Similarly you can use whole meal flour in place of plain white flour or brown rice in place of white polished rice.

Eating after Exercise

We all know that we should eat healthy and exercise in order to lose weight but most of the time when we are back from gym after a good workout, we think of rewarding ourselves with good treats like cakes, donuts, fizzy drink and other sugary stuff, as a result we eat more calories then required by the body and gain weight. Many of us find it very difficult to lose weight, if you have tried before and have failed, then let me tell you that by just eating healthy diet and doing regular exercise you can achieve long term weight loss. Most people fail to stick to diet because of their eating habits. You need to make changes about what you eat and how much you eat.
The main factors that control weight are caloric balance, metabolic rates and life style. Permanent weight loss is attained by changing the life style behavior.
Dieting today is very trendy; many young people get influenced by the skinny supermodels and the concept of glamorous celebrity lifestyle.
Don’t be lured by diets that claim amazing weight loss in couple of weeks. We all feel desperate sometimes, but crash diets gets rid of lot of weight that isn’t fat, and most of it comes back again. Our body runs on glucose and makes use of it to power body cells and the excess is stored in the form of fat. Before this the excess glucose is first stored in liver in the form of glycogen. Once the stores of glycogen are full then the excess glucose is stored as fat. Therefore when your body runs out of energy it makes use of stored glycogen which results in short term rapid weight loss. So in order to achieve a permanent weight loss you need to get rid of the fat stored in the body.
It is very simple, you become overweight when you take in more calories than you burn up and you lose weight when you’re taking less calories and burn more. When fat cells are called upon to release energy during dieting they inform the body that they are getting empty and once again you start feeling hungry and you eat, that is the reason it is hard to keep the weight off.
However by making small changes to your life style like eating less portion and by doing more exercise you can achieve permanent weight loss.

Don't give up Exercise

I think, Summer is a great time to lose weight and to get into shape. Many of us begin exercise regime but give up quickly if we don’t see result in couple of weeks. It is important to have a goal one which is realistic and that can be achieved. Ask any person who is successful in whatever they are doing what motivates them, and most likely they will say "goals". Goal Setting is the key to motivation and success. Goal Setting is very important. A person without goal is like going on road without map. I hear people around me telling me that they want to lose weight, but they don't want to change the way they live to reach that goal. I was talking to my friend who is taking weight loss pills to shed extra kilos. Supplements have played a large role in shedding those extra pounds faster. We all know about the benefits of adding extra vitamins and minerals to our diets. But still I don’t think weight loss pills should be taken to lose weight. Some weight loss pills are designed to increase the metabolism of the body, this in turn increases the burning of calories. The most imortant thing is to do regular excercise in the form of jogging or running. As these activities tend to expend more energy and you burn more kilojoules.
Running can be great way to lose weight but it also has the potential to cause injury.

Fitness Tips: "It is essential to wear supportive footwear that you feel comfortable in while you are working out. Function before fashion! Make sure you are using a shoe for the type of activity you are conducting in the gym. Unless you’re doing a lot of running on the treadmill, where a running shoe would be ideal, I suggest using a cross training shoe which will give you much more lateral support for lifting weights."

Reduce weight

The quick and easy way to reduce weight is to drink minimum 8 glasses of water daily.

Walking is the best form of Exercise

Walking is the most simple and the safest form of exercise that anyone can start to keep them fit.
