I want to share with you the newest fitness craze that is sweeping the world. It's called ViPR. It stands for vitality, performance and reconditioning. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of exercise gadgets. It can be carried, dragged, thrown, flipped, stepped on and rolled.
I have a great podcast for you to listen to with the inventor of ViPR, Michol Dalcourt, personal trainer and expert in human movement. I also have a great video with the Weight Loss Guru's personal training expert, the great Russell Turner. In the video, Russell gives a demonstration of the ViPR so you can see it for yourself. I'm not saying that this is something that you need to do, but any exercise where you're doing full body movements is one of the best ways to lose weight and feel great.
Normally these type of podcasts, videos and articles are just reserved for members of my programme but I felt I had to share this one with anyone who is interested because I think it's so vital, espcially for people who want to lose weight.
Those of you that have followed my weight loss programme know that it's the mind we need to address to help us make lasting changes.
In this insightful interview, Marcel will explain how we need to understand the makeup of our brain and how to change the way we think and feel.
Marcel’s passion lies in the realm of maximizing cognitive and physical performance by using an integrated combination of Neuroscience, Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. His Post Graduate work in Neuroscience coupled with undergraduate degrees in Complementary Medicine and Applied Nutrition and professional qualifications as an ACE “Gold Standard” Advanced Fitness.
Please enjoy and feel free to leave any comments you have. ENJOY
I have been working in the field of health, fitness and weight loss for 20 years... and to celebrate this milestone, I have a special free gifts that I want to share with you.
It's an MP3 track of a relaxation and transformation tape that I made with musician. Russ Davies, over ten years ago. It was a best seller back then and helped many people lose weight. It was available on cassette but now you can listen and download it as and when you want to.
It’s a guided visualisation that is designed to relax and calm your mind and at help you become more focused, positive and confident in your ability to get slimmer, fitter and healthier.
Please do not listen to this MP3 whilst operating machinery or driving but only listen when you can relax and ignore the outside world for about 30 minutes.
Please let us know what you think and if you find it useful
I have a great new podcast with Anna Hemmings MBE. She is best known as Britain’s most successful ever female canoeist, a two time Olympian and 6 times World Champion. I worked with Anna to help with her mental preparation and performance in the 90's.
Anna had a glittering career; she first broke into the top flight of the sport at the age of 19 when she won her first European Championships in marathon canoeing. In 1999 she defended her title and went on to win her very first World title. Anna is the only British female canoeist to ever hold both European and World marathon canoeing titles concurrently (1999 and 2005). Throughout her career she won a staggering 11 World and European Championship medals.
Anna’s real uniqueness as a canoeist was her ability to switch from marathon racing (18miles) to sprint racing (200m and 500m). Her dream to become an Olympian prompted this switch (the only distance for women to compete in was 500m) and she went on to compete in the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the K1 500m event and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the K2 500m event partnered by Jessica Walker.

I am so excited to share with you an inspirational podcast and a short film with Leah Segedie, aka Bookieboo and also the creator of the Mamavation Campaign
Leah is a fitness matriarch in the social media realm who helps “digital moms” learn and sustain healthy living practices to combat obesity. She has lost over 170 lbs. over two pregnancies and is an inspiration to women all over the internet with her communities Bookieboo.com and Mamavation.com.
Leah was overweight most of her life. She understands the struggles and societal issues behind obesity and how it can affect a person in their everyday life. She also knows what it takes to change. Leah changed her life after watching her father die of cancer and becoming a mom for the first time, events which happened simultaneously within a three month period. Losing all that weight was not easy, but it was worth it. Not only did she gain a healthy body, but she also gained a strong sense of self. She takes the lessons she learned on that journey and mentors thousands of women online everyday.
In the podcast, underneath the video, Leah talks in more detail about what she does and the weight loss success she has achieved.
I have a special video message to the Mamavation Moms that I have been helping, motivating and supporting on their weight loss journeys.
