Love for his wife could kill this man. He has been told to steer clear of his wife. Reason: he is allergic to his wife's cosmetics.

Darren Young, 45, a bus driver from of Sprotbrough, South Yorks, had to be twice resuscitated when his heart stopped after dangerous allergic reactions.

The Sun reports that the allergy came to light when Darren was given a jab containing the chemical for a foot problem. In seconds his face swelled, his 6ft frame ballooned and his heart stopped and had to be restarted twice.

One of the world's rarest allergies has put the brakes on the couple's love life. Extensive tests revealed that Darren is allergic to most creams and cosmetics. This is the third such case in the world with an allergy to creams containing polyethylene glycol. Apart from cosmetics, Dareen must also avoid some types of food items, toothpaste, soap, shaving cream, suntan oil and even air freshener.

The man dare not cuddle up to Sue, his wife of four years, unless he is sure she is not wearing any creams containing polyethylene glycol.

"When it comes to bedtime Sue doesn't need a headache as an excuse. She just says she has been using body lotion and it might kill me", jokes the husband.

Teen Attacks Family Over Cell Phone

It is not surprising that a teenager might feel left out if he or she doesn’t have a cell phone in a pocket or a backpack.Therefore, getting between a teen and his cell phone may prove very dangerous even for his parents. But can you imagine that it might lead to such an extreme casualty?

A teen recently assaulted his family members, dangerously kicking his mother in the throat, head-butting his brother and punching and biting his father ~ reason: his father revoked his phone privileges and took away his cell phone.

This incident happened in East Falmouth. Brandon Turner, 18, hit his younger brother on a small dispute. His father took away his cell phone as a punishment for the fraternal spat, reports Cape Code Times.

The next day, aggrieved by this incident, Brandon got into an aggressive mood and exploded, starting on his brother, who alerted his father. But the teen became more aggressive, punched his father in the head and bit him on the arm. Police says Brandon threw a glass baking dish at his mother, head-butted his brother, and struck his father's truck with a metal poop scooper.

His father eventually had to use handcuffs to subdue his son. The teen was farraigned in Falmouth District Court and inally held on $1,000 bail.

Lesson to be learnt: Don't ever come in between a teenager and his cell phone......

Woman Keeps Mother's Dead Body For Years to Claim Pension Benefits

She was sentenced to jail for one year - and rightly so. Her crime - She kept her mom's dead body for more than 6 years in her bed room and collected more than $230,000 in pension benefits.

The woman who was found guilty of theft of government funds is a 61 year old from Florida, Penelope Sharon Jordan.

It is reported that the theft of public money charge refers to Jordan collecting military pension benefits being sent to her mother for Col. Ashford Travis “A.T.” Jordan, her mother’s late husband, after her mother’s death. Ashford Jordan was a World War II veteran and city clerk for Sebastian, records show.

Jordan, an unemployed lady, was found to be very remorseful. “I was trying to ... keep a roof over my head and I take responsibility for what I did. It was wrong,” Jordan said in a low soft voice.

Whatever may be the reason behind it..... I feel keeping the dead body of her mother for ore than 6 years is something punishable.

He is only 13; but has a height of 7 feet 4.6 inches. And no doubt, the tallest teen in the world. And has the Guinness world record to prove that, if you wonder.

I wonder ~ where does a guy that size buy clothes?

At 7 feet 4.6 inches, Brenden Adams of Ellensburg, Washington, made it into the Guinness World Records 2010 book, released recently, as the tallest teenage boy, reports CNN.

If you think that he should be happy at achieving this fete, think about:

Adams is having a hard time fitting into cars.
as a kindergartner, he was taller than his teacher
he wishes strangers wouldn't stare
doesn't play basketball -- two knee replacements insured that

As he gets older, he should put some weight on him, and also "grow" into his body. Give him about 10 years.

It was easy for the cops to nail Jonathan G. Parker, 19, of Fort Loudoun, Pa., of day time burglary in a House at Martinsburg. Reason? He left his Facebook account open on the victim's computer after committing the burglary, but before leaving the place.

A woman reported police that someone had broken into her home through a bedroom window and stole two diamond rings worth a total of $3,500. The victim later noticed that she was missing the rings from her dresser in the same room as her computer and the computer was found open with an unfamiliar Facebook account logged in.

It is reported that during the investigation, it was found that the victim and the suspect had a mutual friend, who admitted that Parker asked him to help him commit the crime.

Parker was arrested and is at the Eastern Regional Jail on $10,000 bail. If convicted, he may face upto 10 years prison term.

Now, the lessons you learnt : if you break-in, remember to log-out! Don't trust Parker to be in your Mafia Wars list. I don't know what his Facebook account is and I don't think you care to be in his friend's list!

It was a highly disgusting joke! Pranksters glued an elderly man's bottom to a toilet seat in the public loos at a shopping center, forcing him to sit tight during a highly embarrassing rescue.

This man had to face such an awkward incident in Cairns. Mistake he made? Nothing but using a public loo in a shopping mall. He was immediately stuck to its seat. Tried to detach himself from the seat; but in vain.

The man cried for help and was heard by the security men outside. Rescue workers were called immediately. He could not get off the seat at the scene without being injured, and he was taken to the hospital to have it surgically removed.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the elderly man, who did not want to be identified, was "pretty distressed about the whole thing".

Cairns local government official Di Forsyth said the man was not injured but was "extremely embarrassed" by his experience. Understandably.

Police are looking for the pranksters. Forsyth identifies it rightly as a 'sick joke'.

Ken Johnson,a 52 year old beggar, does not have to go to any office and work hard for his earnings just as you all do. He just sits at George and Market St, outside the Myer store in Sydney's CBD for the whole day and makes his living.

Johnson makes about $400 on his good days when you all are so generous. And he has been in this 'profession' since the late 90's. He says that when on some days if he could make only $250 from morning to evening, he gets frustrated and feels thoroughly disappointed.

It is reported that Mr Johnson displays a sign that reads:

"Needing support for major family exp(enses) including just heaps for medicine. Paying up is a big grind. Please leave me alone, if you are the abusive nasty sort.''

He even says that on this Wednesday, he collected $30 in 20 minutes. How lucky, he! His annual savings are said to be about $50,000 a year! Now, isn't that a good reason for all of you to think of a change in your 'profession'?

But don't be so excited. This 'job' too requires a lot of effort:

He works about 16 hours a day. Isn't it some long, long hours?
He depends on luck and mood of the passers by. Isn't it so dependable?
In his profession, there is no sick leave nor superannuation plan. Now, would you like to compromise?

Johnson has a bank account and deposits his collection over many times a week.

Now, if you think that he is wasting his money, I would like to add something about this good Samaritan:

He does not smoke.
He does not take drugs or drinks.
He is raising money to help a friend who needs a liver transplant.

Woman Thrown Out of Own House - Mistakenly Auctioned By Bank

How do you feel when on a fine morning, unexpectedly, you are thrown out of your own house by some people who say that your house has been bought by them? That too when your house was not for sale - never? And your belongings thrown out carelessly on the street, damaging most of them?

This miserable, bizarre incident happened recently with Anna Ramirez, a South Florida woman. Her house was sold off by the bank, Washington Mutual, by mistake!

It is reported that long before the movers showed up, the bank acknowledged the mix-up and even went to court with Ramirez to get the sale reversed. But then the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Court's Office never filed the judge's order.

After she was thrown out of her house, Ramirez went back to the judge. "I did reverse the sale but the information the owners received was that the sale wasn't totally reversed," Judge Israel Reyes said. "So it's not totally their fault."

The clerk of courts said that this was a human error and he has planned to call Ramirez to apologize. Now Ramirez is trying to find out an experienced attorney to fight the case, as most of her valuable furniture has got damaged in the eviction process.

Ramirez is thoroughly upset by the incident and hopes nobody else has to go through such a dysphoric event, ever. Let us hope that her case is settled soon.

Missing Dog Reunites After 9 Years

A missing dog has been found miraculously after about a decade.

Kenny, a cross bichon frise, was two years old when it disappeared from its Essex home. Its owners thought that the dog has been stolen. BBC News reports that Kenn's owners, the Donnelly family, after searching a lot in vain, had given up any hope of seeing the dog again ever.

Kenny was found wandering alone in Epping Forest by a passer-by. The dog was traced back to its original owner via an implanted microchip.

Exactly how the dog ended up miles beyond is a mystery. Where Kenny spent all these years is also not known. But it was a happy reunion for the family, who were delighted to see Kenny unexpectedly after so many years.

This is a story that warms the heart while reminding us of the importance of micro-chipping pets. The aging pup would have never been reunited with her family without it.

Police issued arrest warrant and are looking for a man who allegedly bites off his doctor's finger tips.

This happened at Cape Coral, Florida. Gregory S. Powell, 45, went to see Dr. Paul Arnold Wednesday morning, and Powell became upset about not receiving prescription medication. Arnold turned his back and Powell attacked the doctor. The man “proceeded to bite Dr. Arnold several times, including a bite that actually removed a piece of a finger, including the finger nail,” reports state.

Dr. Arnold was immediately taken to and treated at Cape Coral Hospital’s emergency room.

Police reports state that they are in the lookout of Powell and have notified other agencies. The finger tip was recovered at the scene.

Anyone knowing of Powell’s whereabouts is asked to call the Cape Coral Police Department at 574-3223 or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477.

It is thought that yawning is an involuntary action and is natural. But beware; it is not always so. Yawning may lead you into prison ~ if it is inappropriate and is disturbing.

A man in a U.S Court gets a jail term for yawning in the court and disturbing its proceedings. He faces six months in jail for criminal contempt.

Clifton Williams, 33, was at the fourth-floor courtroom at the Will County Courthouse in Joliet when he yawned audibly while Circuit Judge Daniel Rozak was sentencing his cousin to 2 years' probation on felony drug charges. The judge had to stop proceedings for the loud sound to subside. But the judge was quick in delivering the maximum penalty for criminal contempt without a jury trial.

Williams's father said, "I was flabbergasted because I didn't realize a judge could do that. It seems to me like a yawn is an involuntary action."

But you are wrong, Senior Williams! Because the court thinks otherwise. "It wasn't a yawn. It was a loud, boisterous, deliberate noise and over-exaggerated stretch. It was a deliberate attempt to disrupt the court".

Now, if you think that yawning is associated with tiredness, stress, overwork, lack of stimulation, or even boredom, then think twice before acting!

The 'Dirty' British Men

Blame it on the people who survey such things and publish the results before the entire world to see. If the Brits don't like to take bath more than once a week, why should the survey publicize it? Is it necessary to label them as 'dirty' and embarrass them?

The survey was done on the shower frequency in 5 different countries. The results reveal that British men are falling behind Mexico, Australia, the US and France.

The Daily Express reports that more than one British man in ten shower or bath as infrequently as twice a week.

But don't worry - the Brits are not 'dirty' always. They take a shower at least:-

before going on a date
before going to a job interview
after going to gym

But don't worry, men. The Brit women do not bother whether their men take a shower or not ~ at least one-third believe it doesn't make any difference.

Brazilians are urged to save water ~ by urinating in the shower. This is being advertised all over the country through various humorous TV ads.

The group behind this is Brazilian environmental group SOS Mata Atlantica. According to this group, if a household avoids one flush a day, it can save up to 4,380 liters (1,157 gallons) of water annually.

Though the issue of saving environment is a serious one, the group uses humor to persuade people to reduce flushes. Television ads show cartoons of dancers, sportsmen and even aliens relieving themselves while showering in order to avoid flushing.

Narrated by children's voices, the ad ends with: "Pee in the shower! Save the Atlantic rainforest!"

Bank Employee Nabs Robber, But Loses Job

A bank teller in Seattle chased a man suspected to be a robber for several blocks before knocking him to the ground and handed him over to the police. Two days later ~ he was fired from his job by the bank.

This happened at Key bank, Seattle. Jim Nicholson, the 30 year old teller, was encountered suddenly by a thin man, pushed a black backpack across the bank counter and demanded money. But instead of complying, Nicholson confronted with the suspect.

Nicholson threw the bag to the floor, lunged toward the robber and demanded to see a weapon. Surprised, the would-be bank robber backed up and then bolted for the door, with Nicholson on his heels. He chased after the man for several blocks across the bank and succeeded in seizing him with the help of some passers by. He finally handed over the suspect to the police.

Now, do you think that Nicholson would be praised by his employees for his courageous effort? No, he was not. In fact, he was fired two days after.

The Seattle Times reports that it was the policy of bank that employees should quickly complyi with robbers' demands and avoid any sort of confrontation. What Nicholson did was not only ill-advised, according to police and the FBI, it was all but unheard of. Bank tellers are trained to get robbers out the door as quickly as possible and are advised against being a hero over money that's federally insured.

I think Nicholson now understands and shall be careful next time.

Cops Fail Chasing Car Driven by Seven Year Old Boy

Don't ever think that grown up police can easily chase the car driven by a ..... wait.... by a 7 year old boy!

The incident happened in Plain City, Utah. The Weber County Sheriff's Office received a call about a child driving recklessly. They assign two deputies to chase the car. They pursued the vehicle as it drove through parking lots and stop signs. But alas! They were unsuccessful in their duty.

Now about the driver behind the steering. A boy, just 7 years old, driving for the first time! The cops could not stop the car. Finally the boy stopped himself near his home and ran inside his house.

The reason for his sudden taking away his father's car is also interesting ~ He didn't want to go to the Church.

Weber County Sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson reported that the the car reached 40 mph before the boy stopped in a driveway and ran inside his home. The deputies followed only to discover the boy's father had not realized the car was gone.

Father confronts his son, who admits his escapade. Luckily the boy or his father did not face any punishment; but the boy is confronted and gets a detailed angry lecture from his father.

Now, on the coming Sundays, keep your car keys hidden from your kids and even toddlers. Who knows what they are up to?

Thieves Steal Liquor, Gets Drunk, Sleeps Off and Caught

What happens when a burglar robs some liquor and celebrate the booty on the spot? He gets drunk and falls asleep. Easy for the cops, right?

This is what happened to Keith Cullen and Paul Wiggins at Swansea, Wales. Both these burglars steal liquor worth about $1,154 from a liquor store. They stacked up the stolen booze outside the store and then went in to have a drink. Naturally got heavy drunk on the free booze, they doze off. It was for the cops as they found them deep in sleep outside the store next morning.

The Sun newspaper reports that Cullen turned up for his hearing at Swansea magistrates' court so drunk he was prohibited from entering the building. Wiggins disappeared from the court.

Don't ask me whether there was any proof. The close circuit TV installed at the store recorded the entire proceedings of their burglary, boozing and sleeping act for all of us and the court to see!

Now, next time, we hope, when both these burglars decide to steal liquor, they would celebrate their booty at a different place and not the place of theft. What do you say?

Three Year Old Falls From Third Floor - Survives

This 3 year old boy was looking out an open window with a screen in place, but the screen gave way and he fell about 21 feet onto a hedge below. He was very lucky to survive with only some minor injuries, isn't it?

The incident happened at a hotel in California. The family was visiting from Kuwait and staying at the Larkspur Landing Hotel on Johnson Drive. The boy was looking out an open window leaning against a window screen. Suddenly, screen gave way and he fell about 21 feet onto a hedge below.

It was reported by the police that the screen may have helped absorbing some impact of the fall. The boy was rushed to Children Hospital Oakland, where his condition is reported to be improving and his injuries are reported to be minor.

Now, don't you think that falling from such a height and surviving is due to the blessing of God upon the boy and his family?

Underwear Thief Caught With More Than 1000 Pairs

It was the 3 pairs he tried to steal that caught the eyes of cops. He was caught from a sports hall in the western town of Gelnhausen. The German man, 46, was caught red-handed (or was it pants-down) by the policemen.

Later, a thorough search on his flat by the cops revealed that he has an enormous collection. The German police uncovered over 1 000 pairs of underpants and more than 100 pairs of swimming trunks from his flat, the report says.

If you think that this collection would be dirty and unused, then you are wrong. All these underwears were neat and clean thoroughly washed and stacked perfectly. The police is wondering where from all his pricey catch came from.

Man, 65, Takes On Alligator To Save His Dog - Loses Fingers

Can he be called the Hero? After all he saves a 7 year old dog from a 7 foot alligator. And he was all of 65 years.

This heroic incidence happened in West Palm Beach. David Grounds was walking his 7-year-old dog by the pond behind his home. Suddenly he saw a huge, powerful alligator approaching. He screamed for Mandy, his companion dog. But it was too late.

The alligator clamped down on Mandy's midsection, as this report says, and the squealing dog was helpless as the alligator started thrashing. Grounds, 65, rushed over and grabbed the gator's mouth with his hands while poking it in its eye with his thumb. The gator released its grip and Mandy was saved. But then the gator snapped at Grounds, taking part of his right index and ring fingers.

Now, would you be able to do such a heroic ct when you reach 65? And that too to save your dog from a huge alligator? Kudos to David, who is in the hospital and we all pray for his early recovery.

Around The World At 17 Years ~ Solo Sail Record

This boy at 17 becomes the youngest to sail around solo. Was he crazy or was it an amazing trip to circumnavigate the world all along at such a young age?

This feat was achieved by Zac Sunderland, 17, is a Southern Californian teenager. He started his trip from Marina del Rey on June 14, 2008, aboard his boat, Intrepid. He was only 16 years old then. It took a whole year for him to finish the world trip.

Zac had taken $6000 with him, all his savings. A 36-foot long sailboat "Intrepid" used by him to circumnavigate the globe was his only companion. He took his books to study on board to complete his high school education.

The voyage covering 27,500 miles and many countries was not easy for him. Can't you imagine a teen, scared of pirates and fighting with bad storms all alone? Overcoming all these, Zac arrived at Marina del Rey happy and overjoyed and was congratulated by a huge crowd gathered there. Family Sues Harassing Genie

Do you think that 'genies' always grant your wish and follow your orders? Like the tale of 'Aladdin and the Magic Lamp'? Then beware! A family in Medina is dragging a genie to court on a case of harassment.

According to Wikipedia, In Islam and pre-Islamic Arabian folklore, a genie (also jinn, djinn, from Arabic جني jinnī) is a supernatural creature which possesses free will. Genies are mentioned in the Qur'an, wherein a whole Sura is named after them (Al-Jinn). They can be either good or evil. In some cases, evil genies are said to lead humans astray. In Islam, Satan, known in Arabic as Iblis, is the iconic genie that refused to bow down to Adam when ordered to by Allah.

This Saudi Arabian family, who come from Mahd Al Dahab, had to change their house where they had been staying for the past 15 years due to the evil spirit. They started hearing strange sounds and later heard voices of the genie saying them to vacate the house. The genie started throwing stones and children got scared.

Now, the family found no option, but to vacate the house as 'ordered' by genie. But they decided to fight the case. A local court is investigating the case.

Melissa Lashay Phillips has been landed up in Hillsborough County Jail presently. Charge of this 28 year old lady is that she sliced a man with a box cutter over an argument!

Melissa pulled out a box cutter and sliced up a man she was arguing with. "He suddenly felt an intense pain in the center of his back, then on the back of his left leg," police said of the unidentified man. Phillips cut a 10-inch slice in his back and a 3-incher in his leg, according to an arrest report. Cops arrested her with the deadly weaponry. And presumably, no bail for her.

Natalie Jasmer, a cute, smart two year old girl lives in Pennsylvania and she loves to play hide & seek. Recently she was playing the game with her siblings. But even after the passage of hours, the kids could not find Natalie, who was hiding. Then it was the turn of elders to search thoroughly for her; but to their astonishment, they could not trace the little girl.

It was the turn of police and fire fighting personnel to frantically search for the girl, as informed by the family. But inspite of one hour thorough searching, they also could not locate the girl, the report says.

The credit finally goes to Copper, the family dog, who located the girl, who sniffed her out. The little girl had fallen asleep in a drawer underneath the family's washing machine!!

Bear Ransacks House-Gobbles Up Chocolates From Fridge

Did you know that bears have sweet tooth? This was proved recently in a Californian house. A bear gobbled up a box of chocolate from a couple's refrigerator.

When the couple returned to their San Bernardino County home, they found that a bear broke in to their house and was chowing down in their kitchen! Apparently it pushed aside vegetables in their fridge and went for the two pound box of chocolate.

The couple phoned police; but the bear fled before they arrived. The sad thing was that the bear tried to open a bottle of champagne, but became unsuccessful in its attempt.

Now, if you like to have a party full of fun, why don't you invite this bear and keep ready some sweets and one or two bottles of champagne?
