Last Weekend was Goodwill's 50% off Saturday. I picked up the Best stuff and will post some pictures soon..

Heres a couple of Great finds the Books were only a dollar and are NOT from the Goodwill but I got them last night at a local store a Buck each - and Brand new at that. I Just love Home Decor books anything about home or crafts or Altered Projects Etc... The list goes on and on..

The cute little Rack that these are displayed in are another Treasure from The Goodwill I paid a Buck and painted it white.

Didn't really know what I was gonna use it for but once I found My Crafty Sprays I knew exactly what was going in them.. Its displayed in My Scrap/Craft room..

Searching for Treasures

I have always Loved someone's Else's Junk it always feels like Treasures to me.

So lately Ive been going to some of my local Antique stores and especially Thrift stores.. I find the cutest things but usually search for Vintage things ..

I just love the Tin containers that come from England and lately have found a Few that I really love especially seeing that there at least 40-50 years old.

My Dad was always a collector and I know thats where I got this passion from you see dad and I always went thrifting as he would call it and he always knew the GOOD stuff . So over the years seeing my dads Treasures really made me respect the ART of searching for hidden wonders that someone thought was Trash.. So Im planning on using some of my Blog space for Hidden Treasure.. Hope you enjoy my Goodies that surround me everyday..

One year Wedding Anniversary.

This is the House we got married in.

It was such a Nice Day

Tomorrow marks My first Anniversary of my Marriage to my True Love Eric.

Life and relationships are always changing and Looking back at my Wedding vows reassures me that when you are with someone forever it is For Better or Worst Through Sickness and Health, Good times and Bad times..

All of this is so true and if you truly Love someone you will always look as Life being a ever changing thing. My Wonderful Husband has been by my side for the last six months of my Recovery from foot surgery taking care of me in any way I need rather it be needing a drink or something to eat or a Ride to my Favorite Craft store and even my Crying and feeling sorry for myself he is ALWAYS there..

I am so grateful to have found a wonderful spouse who makes me so Happy and through thick or thin we are strong and in Love..

So Eric Happy one year Anniversary Baby..

Six days pre-op

Okay here's the first picture of the left foot that has went through a Major foot surgery a Modified McBride bunionectomy to be exact..

The Picture show a very swollen foot 6 days after surgery so the Doctor put me on a antibiotic to beon the safe side. I'm thinking maybe it is a little more swollen then it should be and am glad he gave me something for infection.

I am so grateful both feet are now operated on and know that I am still healing and only wish I had done this years ago.. I have suffered my whole life with feet problems and just Pray to God that I can become healthier in life.

Here's Preston.. such a little ham he has always posed for pictures for me but this one takes the cake he's Seven now and has lost his two front teeth and I thought this was the funniest picture wait till he see's it..SUCH A WONDERFUL GRANDSON.


Here's Landon He has the nicest smile and I'm surprised I caught this picture he usually turns away right when your ready to take the picture.. He'll be Four next Tuesday he is such a well mannered boy.

Update Three weeks post op foot surgery

I had my three week check up last Friday and it went good my foot is still very sensitive and swollen I have three more weeks in the third cast I was told by Dr Freed to start moving my Big toe more pushing down on my toe so that it does not stay this stiff and so moving it is very important since tendons were moved.

I'm so glad that I only have three weeks left in this cast I want to do so much here at home and it's almost impossible when your on one leg.

My new Vehicle Nova Knee Walker.. The best and it's brand new I hated the rental one I had it was dirty now I have my own.

Foot surgery Pictures Please beware some pictures may not be suitable to all

Yesterday I went back to the doctor for my one week checkup
I was so excited to see my foot after so many years of seeing it with a huge bunion I couldn't remember what it ever looked like without one. To my surprise my feet look smaller especially my big Toe the Doctor said he had a few options in surgery on how to correct my big toe and he decided to not make it totally straight because sometimes it is bent to far over and then that has to be corrected. I have screws in my big toe so that it stays straight and Dr Freed says your young you'll be fine. This is just the first foot to be fixed so I'll be doing this all over again in the future. My right foot was the worst so we decided to get it out of the way I just didn't realize the pain I would be feeling its not major pain but on a scale of 1-10 being worst its about a 4-5 the most pain is not at the incision its actually on the right side where its really swollen.

Okay hope the pics don't bother you to much I'm just so happy it's fixed and look so forward to walking straight again..

It's really swollen and hurts on the right side of my foot

We'll thats it for now hopefully in two weeks most of the swelling will be gone.

Fixing my feet finally

I have had bunions for as long as I can remember always to afraid to fix what has been effecting my walking for years I guess what I have is Genetic so others in my family have the same problem my Mom has these too.
I finally got the courage when My Husband Eric who since the day we met encouraged me to fix my feet and he promised to be here for me during recovery so after three years of us being together I finally had my first foot operated on yesterday.
Things went well and all those fears I had all these years were washed away yesterday by a very pleasant Surgery Center and a great podiatrist which means basically it was over before I knew it.
I will be posting pictures through out my process since after this foot the other foot will be next.

This is a Picture of Cactus that belonged to My deceased Dad I brought this from his home when he passed two years ago and once a year it will bloom these Beautiful Flowers If you dont catch a picture when they bloom they will die by that afternoon so I caught this picture at 4am the other morning.
This came at the perfect time it made my Mother's Day..

Road Trip..
Eric and I just got back from a four day stay in San Diego it was nice to get away we rode our Harley About 1000 miles It was a bit chilly but we had fun shopping of course and eating Lots of seafood and a lot of Mexican food seems to be the favorite down by the ocean maybe its because Mexico is about 20 mile away..I picked up a real nice Coach leather purse down at a outlet store right at the border I just love it..
Today my two Grandson will be coming for the night this should be a nice ending to a eleven day Vacation back to reality on Monday..I also go to a big Scrapbook convention this weekend here in town this should be fun...

My two wonderful Grandsons came over this Saturday and we had a really nice Day..
They are such good boys and they make me smile. Hopefully soon I will buy a home and they will have yard to run around in.
Here they are they wanted to try my motorcycle helmet on even though the littlest one Landon is Camera shy I kinda got a couple in.
On the other hand there's Preston He just loves the Camera or should I say
it love him...
