Crysis Nanosuit Wallpaper

2012-03-20T19:17:00.001+02:00

Just a HD wallpaper of a nanosuit from the game: Crysis. EA managed to mess the game up nicely with the last patch, but I still play it when I'm bored. If you play Crysis 2, leave a comment with your ingame ID (I will add you).

Daft Punk - End of the Line (Photek Remix)

2012-03-20T19:10:00.002+02:00

Everyone knows the band Daft Punk. They have been around since the early '90s, and have been revolutionizing the electronic music genre. I say this because 90% of current electronic music producers use elements or are inspired by the band. For those of you who have been living under a rock, Daft Punk composed the musical score for the movie: Tron: Legacy (2010).
This song is from the movie and was remixed by Photek. IMO it's an amazing track. Just make sure that you have normal speakers with a subwoofer ;)

Finally I'm back. :D
Had to go away for a while (trip to the mountains, then a few days of recovery - 2nd time on snowboard, so I was all green, blue, yellow, violet :P - work, etc.) so I had no time to look for new tracks or wallpapers. But now the blogging will resume ;) Enjoy this pixelated wallpaper <3

Rednek Feat Sean Byrne - Conspiracy

2012-03-05T18:40:00.000+02:00

Strange little song, but I like it a lot. So I decided to support Redneck with this post :) currently he has ~7000 views... If you ask me, that's not enough for a great song like this.

PocketCloud Explore

2012-02-29T13:30:00.000+02:00

"Search, view and organize files on your computers from your Android device"

This is what the developers say. Well I really needed an app like this, so I gave it a try. It's quite easy to set it up, and very easy to navigate and grab the files from your PC.
After you install the app on your android device, you will get a link to the PC companion. Install this, log in with your Gmail account and you are ready to go (just don't forget to play a bit with the setting on your PC: start the PC companion, go to folder settings, and then ADD the folders or drives you want to make accessible). <--- otherwise you will only be able to access "desktop" and shared files. After that step you are DONE. Now you can access all your files from your computer on the go.

"Leave the laptop behind and don’t be concerned with copying or syncing files – just grab anything you need whenever and wherever!"

I have to say that it works really well. It's still an early version, has a few bugs, but it's working and it has decent speed. I even tried to pull a 700MB clip from my PC, and the transfer rate was quite good (my PC's upload speed is fair/good).

"With PocketCloud Explore you can:
• Securely access your content without syncing or paying for extra cloud storage
• Open remote files with any of your Android apps (e.g. QuickOffice, DocumentsToGo)
• Search for files across your computers
• Unlimited video, photo, audio and file transfers: upload pictures to your desktop
• Simple file management: create, rename and delete folders or documents"

Now there are some drawbacks, like you can only access 1 PC (2 if you buy the app now, and more if you get the Premium membership), and you can't set the link to the transfers. All files will be on external storage in a folder called "PocketCloud".
Not that bad, maybe they will fix it in the near future, as the SGS2 has a built in "external storage" and I would like to save the files to my memory card (external-external storage :D ).
Not to mention that it would be GREAT to have the ability to push files from your phone to your PC.

The price is ~1$ for now, and will go as high as 5$ in the near future (it's a special launch price). No more syncing and uploading to cloud services, just leave the PC on and grab what you need wherever you are. IMO this app is worth the 1 or even 5$.

The Glitch Mob feat. Swan - Between Two Points

2012-02-29T12:58:00.001+02:00

Found this while I was browsing for some Nokia 808 video samples (yes, the PureView, the phone with the 41megapixel sensor and 8 megapixel camera). Most of the time I have to dig for hours on youtube to find a decent song that I like. Usually I find 2-3 songs/week. Eighter I have a strange taste in music, or good music is rare these days... (same thing applies to wallpapers too :/ ).
Anyway, I found this, and I think this rocks. I don't even know what genre this is (glitchstep?..), but it's nice and calm, + her voice is really good. Give it a try:

Lindsey Stirling - Crystallize

2012-02-24T17:50:00.000+02:00

Found her channel a couple of days ago while I was searching for some symphonic dubstep. She is very talented and quite cute :D So I gave her a follow because I liked her elecrtonic + violin songs. But yesterday she relesed Crystallize, a dubstep + violin tune (just what I was looking for). It is a very cool and relaxing song. She really nailed it with this song. OFC haters gonna hate, because that's their job. But I really like the song and her style. Go to her page, follow her, like her links because she deserves it, she is really talanted.

Specimen A - London

SoundWire for Android

2012-02-17T13:14:00.000+02:00

Long time since I reviewed an android app. That's because I had some issues with my phone. But I'm back now :)

Today I'm going to talk about an app named SoundWire.

SoundWire is an app that lets you send any sound from your PC to your Android phone. With this you can use your phone as a way to listen to music (or movie audio) from your computer anywhere in your house.

"Unlike Apple's AirPlay you can use any music player on your PC or laptop like Grooveshark, Spotify, YouTube, or iTunes and feed the sound directly to your Android device. SoundWire lets you listen to the free versions of Grooveshark and Spotify on your phone."

SoundWire has low latency (audio delay), which means you can use this app to listen to movies or youtube videos (**Note you must adjust the buffer size in app settings for low latency).

Features:
- Real-time audio capture and streaming
- Not locked to one music player
- Excellent sound quality (44.1 kHz or 48 kHz stereo 16-bit PCM)
- Low latency
- Easy to use
- MIPS and x86 support, send music from PC to PC running virtualized app

I have used this app at work (have no speakers there) and it really works. Had some issues setting it up (it's very easy once you test it), but worked flawlessly after that. Tested with some youtube videos, and the sound was synced (but you need to tweak the buffer size for this - another easy step from the options).

What more can I say... I recommend this app because it's simple and it does the job well. It's streaming audio from your PC or laptop over WiFi or 3G/4G to your android phone.
There is a free version of this app, so you can test it before you buy it.

Aaron Static - Amen Tune

2012-02-16T12:51:00.001+02:00

Another great chill tune. I like to listen to this one when I get home from work, and lay on the bed for a few minutes, enjoying bass therapy (not too loud, but not too low eighter). The bass is pretty powerful, but balanced. I think this is my new favorite chillstep song. Also I've learned that cool/amazing songs have only a few views. Hope you guys like it too.

Simple and clean. My current destop and phone wallpaper.

ACTA is still a threat to us. Some important people realized that they are doing a big mistake with this ACTA shit. However this does not mean that the "war" is over. We must stand our ground, and do what we did 'till now.

Snowflakes Wallpaper

2012-02-14T13:32:00.001+02:00

Europe is under snow :/ . Since I got my car I hate snow. Hate it because authorities don't clean up the streets, problems with car starting up (constant -20 deg. C), and ofc the cold.
Hope it gets warmer next week :/

Subvibe & Fuzion - 30 Million (Fracx Remix)

2012-02-13T18:52:00.000+02:00

My new favorite tune. It has a sick drop at 1:50, so if you have a serious subwoofer be prepared to sh!t your pants. Best dubstep tunes are produced by "noname" (no offense) artists. Hope to find more tunes like this, because Skrillex & Co. are getting overrated. This song scored #1 at Subvive & Fuzion.
Enjoy this sick tune, like it, and download it for free (link in video description).

The Glitch Mob - We Can Make The World Stop

2012-02-07T15:58:00.000+02:00

Another cool tune from The Glitch Mob. This time the title is perfect for this anti-ACTA campaign :)
"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people"
The above statement is very true.
The 11th is near, Anonymous will help us fight ACTA, and in every major city there will be anti ACTA protest. So don't be lazy, go out and do whatever you can to make this bullsh!t stop.
Youtube, Facebook, Tumblr, Imgur, Soundcloud will disappear... SAY NO TO ACTA!

Road Wallpaper

2012-02-04T11:31:00.000+02:00

Again, say NO to ACTA if you like imgur and other picture sharing sites. With ACTA signed, you will have no more wallpapers, and a lot of image sharing/hosting sites will go down!
Say YES to a FREE WORLD!

Kreayshawn vs Flux Pavilion - Gucci Cant Stop (DOSVEC DubStep Mashup)

2012-02-04T11:25:00.000+02:00

Found this cool song on facebook. Actually a new friend of mine posted this :) It's a different kind of dubstep (at least for me), but it's OK. Has a good ammount of bass and quite good vocals. Also it's free to download (download link in the video description on youtube).
And don't forget: say NO to ACTA!
