I love fashion... I just adore fashion! I have my own sense of style and I'm proud of it even though people don't agree with me. Haha. And every Wednesday (which is washday at my school), I try to look nice and really wear a nice outfit.

My outfit - BLUE shirt (given by my friend Harvey); Multi colored shorts, PURPLE full rights (yep that's purple guys not black =P) and my Gold flats.

By the way, my friends and I wore the same shirt that day coz Harvey had a lot of those shirts so he gave me and our two close friends Joachim and Fritz shirts so that we could match. Cute 'eh? hahaha

Ugh... so yeah I've been gone for a while... well, a really really long while

I've been so busy with school and stuff...

we had a lot of activities and I had to adjust since I'm in a new course and all...

Anyway, the past few months have been.. well... tough. School's been giving me a hard time but it's way better than when I was in my previous course. Everything seems to be lighter nowadays. And with personal life.. BLAH! it's been one helluvahn emotional ride. Hahahaha... oh well

Anyway... HIGHLIGHTS! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I've been going to the gym for better fitness... hehehehe

My family and I went to my Mother's farm which was like an hour drive from our house. When we got there, the scenery just took our breaths away... It was so beautiful! And not even a Class A mall nor a 5 star Hotel could ever replace that wonderful farm...

10 Year old gives birth!!!

I was surfing the net just a while ago when I saw this news about a Ten Year Old girl in the United States who just gave birth to a baby girl almost a week now!!! And the father (or in this case, the culprit) is an illegal immigrant who raped the poor little girl! SHAME ON HIM!!!! He should be put behind bars because of what he did! Damn!!!

I hope that everybody would be more concious about this - the world is not a safe place to dwell on anymore. It is up to us to make it a better place. Let us protect the children, for they are the future.

My love for blogging started back in high school. I was an incoming 4th year student that time. It was summer and I was bored to death at home. So I joined the blogging bandwagon and created this blog "VILLAGEGURL". And it was just this year that I found out that I could make money out of blogging. So I searched for tips on the internet on how to make money on blogging.

I discovered BLOGGERWAVE - a site that pays you to write about stuff. I learned about this from one of my internet savy friends (who is also a blogger, by the way). The news about today's transport strike started around last week. People were saying that there would be no classes that day and that everybody should really participate in the strike and show their sympathy about high gas prices. There were others too who said that there will still be classes - strike or no strike! Grrrr....

Anyway, I woke up around 6:30 am, way too early for my 1 pm class. But I had to go early because I had some things to attend to at school. Plus, I want to study there (coz there are a lot of distractions at home). My friend texted me and told me there were classes. So I took a bath, got dressed, ate breakfast and my dad gave me a lift to my school. When I arrived there, people were already saying that there were no classes. And there weren't any!!!! Grrr... I went early for nothing!

Enough of my rants... bottomline is, I hope that this problem regarding gas prices will be resolved soon. I just hate it when people complain that they are poor already or they don't have money because of high gas prices. I hate it when I see jeepney drivers and other motorists suffer because of it. I just hate the fact that it is really a big problem in our society. I just hate it!

Pls somebody, anybody! DO SOMETHING!

I've been out of the blogging scene for a while right? Sorry about that guys... I've been experiencing a lot of hoopla for the past couple of days. I don't even know where to start!

School has been giving me a hard time! Projects here and there and a whole lot of readings for our Philosophy class. We had to do a report about Renaissance Art for our humanities class. So what me and my groupmates did is that we spent the night at one of our groupmate's house and we made the report the whole night! We only had two hours of sleep! Only to find out that we are not the group to report that day! Grrrr... darn it! And the worst part is we were not able to study for our Major Midterms because of that report! Sad sad indeed! =(

Another thing that's been keeping me busy is my work. I am a scholar at our school and my tuition for summer is discounted. But the catch is that I have to work for it - 5 hours to be more specific. Sound easy? NOT!!!! I've been working at the registrars office and believe me when I say that it is indeed hardwork! It's not fun alphabetizing a thousand plus envelopes from all the new enrollees! Grrrr.... grrrr.... grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, I can rant all I want here but I don't have all the time in the world. But why my title huh? Well, at the end of the day after I say my prayers before going to sleep, I turn on my mini radio and listen to music. And by doing so just takes all the stress away. So despite of everything, I'm still thankful. Thank you radio for cheering me up.

Before summer classes started, I was so bored at home that I wished that I was school already. Not that I'm at school, I wished otherwise... I'm really not at all inspired to go to school

What's up with me lately?

I'm not able to post as much as I want too during these past few days. Summer classes have kept me busy and stuff. My schedule is really tiring and I hate the fact that my Major subject starts at night (6 to 7:30 pm) from Monday til Saturday. Grrr... imagine that! it's really tiring you know.

Anyway, summer classes means having to wear civilian clothes for 6 days a week. And I am totally running out of clothes. What I do is just mix and match outfits to make it look as if they're like new or something. or maybe just add some PZAAAS to my appearance. (eh? hehe...). So as usual, i'll be posting more "My StyLe"s soon. I have to experiment more with different outfits first.

Before summer classes began, I kinda got addicted to editing pictures using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP. i just love putting different effects into my pics. here are some of my works. (sorry, i'm still an amateur at this... pls bear with it... hehe)

I hope I could get better at this editing thing. I'd love to edit pictures for friends and family. It's fun and I love doing it.

My summer classes have already started. What's good about summer class is that we don't get to wear our very hot white uniforms. oh thank goodness! but the downside is that we have to wear civilian clothes everyday. and let's face it, we women don't want to wear the same thing over and over again. it's just our instinct. the men might say that we are shallow when it comes to clothing but who cares!!! we're women and we have the right to be that way.

i don't have that much money myself but i do my best to really mix and match and just don't make my outfit repeating that obvious. anyway, i always share my mix and matches here in my blog with a segment called "My StyLe". And after two months, here's another edition of my favorite segment. hehe =)

I really love hoodies! I know it's weird coz it's summer and why would i want to wear hoodies right? well, there are actually some hoodies that are made of thin material and short sleeves that can really keep you cool and at the same time, you'd still have that hoodie look. coz hoodies are really undeniably cute.

Here's My StyLe # 10! In this picture, i'm wearing a green-black stripes hoodie which i bought online for a very low price. then i just wore a white razor back inside (coz if i don't wear it, that would be just too weird, get it? hehe => ) and i am also wearing my denim leggings which I also bought online.

I bought these clothes online, again, and i really like them! The hearty top is really cute and i love its assymetrical cut. the mini shorts are really perfect for summer and i can wear this outfit when i got to the beach with friends. i can't wear the shorts to school since it's not allowed. but i can always pair the hearty top with skinny jeans, preferably a black one. and then pair it with RED shoes too. Since the hearty top is showing my shoulders, I can wear again a white razor back just to lessen the shown skin. hehe =) That's My StyLe #11... =)

Here, i'm wearing my royal blue uneven sleeves top, with my silver bear necklace, black skinnies, blue shoes (not shown) and small silver bag. Silver and blue go good together and anybody could really pull it off. trust me. - My StyLe # 12 =)

For My StyLe #13, I'm wearing my grey stiped sailor top, paired with Moss Green skinnies and semi patent black high heel shoes. I see this a lot in magazines and wearing heeled shoes with skinny jeans are really cute. Try this look and you will really feel fabulous =)

and last but not the least, here's My StyLe # 14...

Here, i'm wearing my striped tunic top with white spaghetti sleeveless top inside, black and white necklace and brown shorts. Unfortunately, shorts are not allowed in my school. So for summer classes, I'll pair it instead with denim skinnies and gold shoes. =)

WEIRD MOI???

Some weird things about me...

*Hey, everybody has their weird side you know... and here are mine

1.) I spend an average of 40 minutes a day staring at my closet - haha... yup this is like soooo true! It's one of my "hidden" hobbies to look at all of my clothes and make mental pictures of what I should wear the next time I go out of the house. Since summer classes just started, this habit of mine is really helping me a lot in picking out what I should wear. haha...

2.) With just regular fries, I can consume a total of 16 packets of MCDO ketchup - my friends are like a witness to this. I soooo love the ketchup at Mcdonalds and I can consume a lot even if I'm just eating regular fries... what more LARGE fries huh? hehe

3.) I stare at my cellphone until somebody sends me a text message - when I'm waiting for my beau's or friends' replies, I just stare at my two year old Nokia 3220 until somebody replies... and that's when I stop and jump for joy

4.) I have a "thing" for mestizos - okay, if you don't know what mestizos are, they are guys who have mixed blood. (eg half filipino half german, a quarter american and three fourths pinoy, etc...) Whenever I see a mestizo, I instantly become a "stalker" of that guy and follow him as much as I can around campus. Haha... if my friends read this i'm sure they'll have lots of stories to tell about my mishaps in my "stalkering". I hope mestizos wouldn't get scared of me though... haha...

5.) I LOOOOOVE BUKO SHAKE! - this might not sound weird... but would you consider it weird if I tell you how much I LOOOOVE buko shaKE??? That I can't LiVe without Buko Shake?? I need it now... MUST HAVE BUKO SHAKE... must.. must... ugh... moving on...

6.) I walk around NAKED in my house... it's my usual exercise - haha save the best for last people! whenever i'm all alone or it's just us women in the house, I usually undress and walk around the house before I take a bath. weird huh.... oh c'mon people... I'm sure you do that too... admit it! haha... and for those of you who don't... TRY it! It's fun... (and breezy) teehee... ^_^

I was browsing through the internet after my first LONG day in Summer classes...

And here are some of my "HOT" finds... and what I'm lovin' right now...

I love this dress! It's so cute! If I had one, I can wear it to school. I'll just pair it with black leggings then I'm all set =)

Everything shiny always gets my attention. hehe

This dress really caught my attention not only because it is shiny but also because of the style. It's so cute! I'm actually thinking of using this as reference for the design of my sister's prom dress. WEEE!!! My imagination is running wild! hehe... ideas are flowing baybeh!

The Vest is sooooo cute! I love the combination of apparel in this pic. The model looks so sexy. =)

I like this vest too. I'm trying to look for one if not the same, at least that has a close design as the one in the picture

For me, a crisp white blouse and a pair of jeans are still a classic! Simple yet elegant =)

WANTED: OPAQUE TIGHTS and BOOTS! If only the weather here in the Philippines weren't so hot, I'd be wearing these often! I just soooo love the combination!
