Actor Mr Ibu Tells Jonathan: Stop Giving Actors Money

2014-03-22T03:07:00.004-07:00

Popular actor, John Okafor, well known as Mr Ibu has decried the absence of adequate structures inNigeria movie industry. Also he criticised the recent visit of some actors to President Goodluck Jonathan, which did not appear to go down well with many Nollywood stakeholders who queried the motive behind the visit. It is said that the actors who visited Aso Rock only went to grab a piece of the national cake.

In his reaction, Mr Ibu said: “The government should stop giving Actors’ Guild cash, because we don’t know how to handle it. Some people will go to the office, process the money and squander it and we (actors) never benefit from such goodwill.

The comic actor has also condemned the increase in gay activities in Nollywood. He said, homoséxuality is now very rampant in our industry and it is one thing that aggravates my anger most times…

On the issue of money to actors, he insisted, “If they (government) can give us a structure or land, we can go ahead and secure funds from investors to build five-star hotels and other facilities on it, because it will be a tourist haven. We can bring the Nigerian Censor’s board into the same arena.

“How can we be paying N50,000 to have one movie censored and then generate N5m from over 100 movies produced in a month and yet there aren’t any structures in place for Nollywood? With such amount of money, government should be able to cater for us. If this is done, the industry will make a giant stride.

“Many people do not take me seriously because of the kind of roles I play in movies. But the truth is that those who know me very well know that I am a very focused and principled person. In fact, I teach and mentor many upcoming actors and also organise workshops and seminars regularly for them.”
The year 1994 proved to be the turning point in his career after he landed his first movie role in the movie, Rolling Stone. Okafor was paid a paltry N5,000 to star in the film, but that was then. Today, he has emerged one of the most sought-after and highly paid Nollywood actors who charges ‘six digits’ to feature in a film.

6 Attributes Of Most Awesome Girlfriend Ever

2014-03-22T02:56:00.002-07:00

There are 6 characteristics of an awesome girlfriend no guy can ever resist…

1. She is honest

Every guy appreciates his girlfriend being an honest person. Moreover, most men like things to be told straight so that they don’t have to question or guess what the girl means. Honesty leads to trust – the basis of any relationship.

2. She is fun and friendly

We love the ones who can make us smile and enjoy every moment spent together. Thus, if the two of you have a similar understanding of the word “fun”, doing these funny activities together can make you even more attached to each other.

3. She is loyal

Neither women, nor men like to be cheated on. Jealousy is a feeling capable of destroying the most passionate love. To avoid the break-up don’t flirt with other guys, just make him know you can be trusted.

4. She is loving out loud

It doesn’t mean you need to tell your man every five minutes how much you love him. Just remember to let him know that you care about him. Believe it: men are extremely sensitive, and he will appreciate this move.

5. She is not needy

Guys love independent girls, who have the lives of their own. Getting all your attention concentrated on your man is not a good idea. Meet your friends, find your hobbies when a man enters your life. Make it all balanced…

6. She thrills him with spontaneous adventures

Watching TV together is fine, but not every singe day. We all need some rock-n-roll in our life from time to time. It can be something as simple as going to a new restaurant to try foreign food you’ve never tasted. It is up to you to chose the best option for you two.

Breaking News: Yeni Kuti’s ex-husband Femi Segun dies from power bike accident

2014-03-22T02:54:00.000-07:00

Femi Segun, former husband of Yeni Kuti, Afrobeat dancer and daughter of the late great Fela Kuti has passed away.

Segun, a self-described humanist turned politician, sources say, died due to complications from multiple injuries sustained in a road accident while driving his power motor bike in Lagos a week ago. He is said to have died this morning, March 21, 2014 at a Lagos hospital.

Segun’s death was first reported by his Igbobi College Alumnus and long-time friend, broadcaster Bola-Wola Makinde who wrote a short condolence message on his (Makinde) Facebook page. The message was accompanied with a picture of his friend dressed in bikers’ gear, standing next to his power bike.

‘Who can question the Lord?…Requiescat in pace,Femi Segun!‘, Makinde wrote on his timeline. Four days earlier, Makinde posted a get-well-soon message for his dear friend. ‘The GOOD Lord WILL heal you,my darliing brother Igbobian!‘, it reads.

A source close to the Kuti family has also confirmed Segun’s death. ‘Yes it’s true, I just reached them and it’s quite sad‘, a source informed NET.

NET has received no response from Yeni Kuti or any other member of the family about the tragic death. Yeni however talked about her ex’s accident during an episode of TV show ‘Your View’ which airs on TVC.

According to his LinkedIn page, Segun was up on till his shocking death, the CEO of Coltrane Nigeria Ltd, a ‘one-stop provider of multi-sector and ancillary logistic solutions. He was also the director of research and protocol at the Lagos Black Heritage Festival from 2010 to 2013. He was a master compere and speaker of note.

Femi Segun and Yeni have one child together, a daughter, Rolari Segun. In 2010 the 26-year-old graduated from the University of Leeds in the UK. Both parents were present at the ceremony.

Although separated from former wife Yeni, Segun stayed close to the family, participating in the family’s yearly Felabration festival. He was seen wearing his ubiquitous combat shorts in October, last year at the week-long music festival held at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos. Segun was also present at Femi Kuti‘s 50th birthday celebration back in 2012.

In November 1983, Segun, daughter of celebrated author Mabel Segun, was honoured as the ‘Officer of the Order of Rio Branco’ by the Government of Brazil.

‘I have no beef with Wande Coal’ – Olamide

2014-03-22T02:37:00.001-07:00

Contrary to gist making the rounds in the music industry, Olamide, says he has no beef with singer, Wande Coal.

Rumours of a beef started back in 2012 when Olamide released his YBNL album . On the track titled ‘Picture’, Olamide rapped about not letting his guard down when it comes to interacting with obsessed female fans.

‘Oloso (prostitutes) thinking of how to ruin me, but I know what I’m doing/they want to Wande Coal me, they want to Davido me,’ he rapped.

Folks alleged that Wande did not find that line funny and the two were not on speaking terms, however, Olamide has denied that.

He told NET on Thursday: ‘I have no riff with Wande Coal, we spoke on phone three days ago. When I heard the gist I was also surprised. He is my guy; he is a street boy like me. Why I said they want to Wande Coal me, they want to Davido me on my song… people are just out looking for who to use for a scape goat, trying to bring you down, that was all I was trying to say. I don’t have issues with them.’

NET reached out to Wande Coal’s manager, Bankuli, to confirm if Wande Coal and Olamide had any beef but Bankuli refused to comment on the issue.

It will be recalled that both Wande Coal and Davido have been involved in controversies over nude/half nude photos purportedly leaked by women. Wande Coal, we are told, was not impressed by Olamide’s reference to the incident.

MORE INFO ON H-CODE DEATH --- How Nigerian producer H-Code choked to death

2014-03-11T10:46:00.000-07:00

Last week, a music producer Harold Mordi better known as H-Code passed away after suffering an asthma attack.

One close friend tells NET the late producer was hanging out with a few friends on Friday, March 7, 2014 at his family home in Surulere, Lagos when the attack came – he never recovered from the attack, slumping and eventually giving up the ghost.

‘He was at home with friends when he had the attack, he choked to death. He never smoked’, a close friend and music collaborator Big T tells NET.

H-Code relocated from the UK to Nigeria in 2007 to start up his own music production company H20.

Mordi who was in his 20s, was the last child of his parents. We’re told his father passed away a years ago. His mother is said to be heavily depressed following the sad news.

He might not have been very popular but H-Code had worked with quite a number of Nigerian artistes including 2face and Vector (Get down), Olamide (Unite), Dammy Krane, Waje, Sinzu and many others..

Before his untimely death, was putting together a mixtape and had already been reaching out to a few rappers to record verses for the project.

Mordi’s family are currently making burial arrangements.

Flavour says he’s not dating BBA winner Dillish Mathews ‘for now’

2014-03-11T10:40:00.002-07:00

Intimate photos of the two, taken during a video shoot for Flavour’s latest song ‘Ikokrikwo’, sparked rumours that they were an item.

Speaking to Encomium Magazine, Flavour says ‘It is just a professional picture. For now there is nothing between us.

She featured in my video and I went to pick her at the airport and also hosted her. That’s it. I wonder why they are spreading the falsehood all over the net. We are not kids and if there is something between us, why hide it? It’s strictly professional for now.’

Dillish recently parted ways with her boyfriend, Stephen, after there were claims of his infidelity.

Basketmouth, Goodluck Jonathan, Obasanjo, Patience Ozokwor feature as Puppets in ‘Ogas at the Top’

2014-03-11T10:32:00.004-07:00

A satirical puppet show, ‘Ogas at the top’, which will feature top personalities in the political and entertainment sphere is billed to premiere in Nigeria.

The show will feature puppet doubles of Olusegun Obasanjo, Patience Ozokwor, Sani Abacha, Basketmouth, Ibrahim Babangida, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Bola Tinubu and many others.

‘Ogas at the Top’ already has a Kenyan version ‘The XYZ Show’, which won the AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award) for Best TV Series last year. It is already in its 9^th season and has a followership of over 10million people.

The producers of the show say inspiration will never be lacking as the Nigerian political landscape offers story ideas aplenty for the Nigerian version.

‘The Nigerian political scene is a goldmine for stories: we certainly won’t run out of inspiration any time soon. And we know that Nigerians, just like Kenyans, have a wicked sense of humor, so this promises to be a wild ride.’

Fuji star Obesere in messy rape scandal

2014-03-11T10:30:00.004-07:00

Alhaji Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has been caught in a scandal ensuing from a rape accusation filed against him by an acquaintance.

The popular Fuji star was arrested last week by men of the Isolo Police Division, after one Olanike Olaiya reported that he raped her.

Olanike, according to NET investigations, is a National Diploma graduate of Business Administration from Ibadan Polytechnic. She is reportedly a business woman who was referred to Obesere by one of her friends, Bola Okoro, who said that the musician could assist her with her office equipment sales business.

‘When I contacted Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family house at Okota. When I met him, I introduced my business to him and he promised to connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who would sell goods to me on credit,’ Olanike told the police.

‘After the discussion, he started demanding for sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave he insisted I should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area. I thought he was a responsible man and I decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the night, he came into the room where I slept and pounced on me. He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he wore into my private part and I started bleeding.’

Olanike further revealed that Obesere hurriedly left for an appointment after the assault.
‘I could not bear the trauma and the bleeding, so I reported the matter to the police,’ she said.
Olanike reported Obesere to the Isolo Police Division, where the musician was reportedly arrested before being bailed. Obesere, in his statement to the police, declared his innocence, insisting that he had consensual sex with Olanike.

When contacted by NET, Obesere admitted having sex with Olanike, but insisted that he did not rape her.

‘She visited my house on Saturday, February 8, 2014 and left the next day. We had sex when she visited but it was with her consent. I never forced her. I am very surprised by this development because when she came, she was very comfortable; she even cooked and ate in my house,’ he told NET correspondent via the telephone.

Obesere also revealed to NET that Olanike asked for the sum of N5 million before reporting to the police.

‘Four days after that incident, she called me that she was bleeding. I was worried, so I asked a mutual friend of ours, Alhaja, to help me take her to the hospital,’ the Fuji musician said.
‘Alhaja told me that nothing was wrong with Olanike, and that she was trying to blackmail me. Olanike later asked me for the sum of N5 million. I refused and before I knew it, I was summoned by the police.’

Obesere disclosed that he was first represented by his lawyer, Roy Bassey Ukon, at the Isolo Police Division, before going himself to tender his statement.
‘I was never arrested,’ he insisted to NET.

When NET paid a visit to Obesere’s house at Johnson Sam-Iye Street, Canal Estate, Ago, Lagos, the musician was not around but neighbours confirmed seeing Olanike in his house.

NET also visited the Isolo Police Division where a police officer, who requested anonymity, confirmed the existence of the case and also confirmed that it had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

Numerous attempts to speak to DSP Emeke Ekechukwu of the Isolo Police Division failed as his number was out of reach.

NET findings revealed that the officers in charge of the case at the SCID, Panti, Yaba, are requesting for a medical test result and any other evidence to back up the rape claim.

A source also told NET that Olanike is yet to report to the SCID for questioning. All efforts by NET to reach Olanike have so far been fruitless. Several calls put across to her phone number are yet to be answered.

She has, however, alleged that she has been receiving death threats since she reported Obesere to the police, prompting her to go into hiding.

‘Last week I was informed that the case has been transferred to the SCID and my Investigating Police Office at Isolo asked me to come to the station on Tuesday for the transfer, but when I got to the SCID, I discovered the IPO who took over the case, one Mr. Jacob — I don’t know his rank — became hostile to me. You need to see how this man treated me. He started by asking me to write a new statement and when I tried to explain that I had written a statement at Isolo division, he rebuffed my explanation and insisted I wrote a new one,’ Olanike told Punch.

Denying the intimidation reports, Obesere revealed that he asked that the case be transferred to SCID because he felt the police officers in charge of the case at Isolo Police Division were being biased.
‘The Police officers in Isolo think I’m an illiterate simply because I am a Fuji artiste. I am not an illiterate and I refuse to be intimidated, which is why I asked for the case to be transferred,’ the musician told NET.

‘How can a girl accuse me of rape four days after sex? What is her proof? Since the case was transferred to the SCID, she has not reported to the station. If truly she was raped, she should come to the SCID with her proof.’

The scandal embroiling Obesere comes as a huge shock to fans and Fuji music buffs. As a public figure, his personal life has been devoid of these types of controversies and scandals due to his regimented and modest life style.

Although Fuji musicians are known for their notoriety and polygamous lifestyles, Obesere’s monogamous style of marriage makes him a rare kind in his genre of music and a darling in the eyes of the public.

This public perception will, however, start changing as a result of this scandal. The Oyo State-born musician also has a disappointed wife to contend with but the singer has revealed that this scandal will not affect his family.

‘My wife Abike is angry with me, but I am her husband, so she will forgive me,’ Obesere told NET when asked about his wife’s reaction to the rape scandal.

His family is not the only thing being threatened here — his freedom and career may also be affected if he is found guilty of the inhuman act. Section 258 Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011 No 11 prescribes a life sentence as the punishment for rape.

With the case is still under investigation, Obesere has to prove his innocence to the law, his fans and his family.

2014-03-08T09:15:00.004-08:00

Ayo Makun, is not happy journalists are estimating his new club is worth ‘just 300million’.
The comedian-promoter says he’s setting up one of the largest clubbing facilities in this part of world, with enormous cost implications.

His club is named MVP and located in Lekki, in Lagos.

He told Encomium ‘the aforementioned amount might turn out to be an understatement when you come to MVP to see what we are putting in place in Lekki, Lagos. We are having a world class and premium Restaurant Nightclub Lounge.’

When pressed on the exact figure, he went further to say, ‘You might want to interview the accountant of MVP and the contractors in charge of different aspects of the project to get an exact figure’.

2014-03-08T09:02:00.005-08:00

The battle for the title of Nigerian’s culinary best continues with the Knorr Taste Quest, Season 2. The theme for last week’s challenge was tagged ‘Cooking For a Loved One from the Heart’, and the contestants were given 90 minutes and a host of interesting ingredients to make a 3 course meal.

For the starter, the ingredients used were; pineapple, brown rice, butter lettuce, puff pastry, bran flakes, gizzard and Knorr original. For the main dish, the ingredients used were spaghetti, coconut, apples, cucumber, carrots, pork chops and Knorr chicken, while the desert ingredients were milk, agbalumo, bacon, flacked almonds and Knorr original. The trick however is that each course must have at least two ingredients from the ingredients provided for it.

Speaking on the choice of ingredients, the judges discussed on the nutritional values of each ingredient provided. One to note is the butter lettuce which is not so popular, but a sweeter version of the regular lettuce.

After 90 minutes, Wando was first to present her dish. She made pasta in coconut milk as her main dish which Chef Fregz described as delicious; however her total presentation was ‘not pretty’.

Doom’s performance wasn’t too impressive, and her dish was referred to as a ‘hot mess’. Chef Renee complained about Moses’ gizzard being too tough, but Dr Roberts believed his overall performance was ‘OK’. The judges complemented Ojo on his performance, and liked almost all the dishes presented, while Olabode’s dish had few hitches. Dixon, Bassey, Chinelo and Popoola all had mixed reviews and didn’t necessarily ‘wow’ the judges.

Ojo unanimously emerged task winner for the day and was rewarded with N20, 000 by the Knorr brand. On probation was Doom and Charles as their performances were far below expectations.

The ingredients are getting tougher and tougher with each week, and they are sure to weed out the ‘cold’ contestants. Prizes up for grabs this season are; N2 million cash prize, a Ford Eco Sport SUV, courtesy of Coscharis Motors, and Kenwood kitchen equipment for the first prize, N1 million cash prize and Kenwood kitchen equipment for the second place and N500,000 cash prize and Kenwood kitchen equipment for the third place winner.

Gas Emission: How We Escaped Death – Student Reveals

2014-03-08T08:54:00.001-08:00

Miss Omolade Ogungbamigbe, one of the 13 students of Ogba Junior Grammar School, Ojodu Local Council Development Area, LCDA, yesterday recounted how she and her mates escaped death after they inhaled poisonous fumes in their school.

The parents of the 13 pupils however asked the state government to conduct a thorough investigation to detect the source of the emission and to forestall future discharge of the poisonous fumes.

This came barely 24 hours after the anxiety among the parents and guardians of the 13 students of the school, who collapsed after inhaling an unidentified poisonous fumes discharged from one of the cottage factories in Ogba Shopping Arcade. Speaking to Saturday Vanguard, Ogungbamigbe, a JSS 2 student said the emission was discharged 30 minutes after their lunch break.

Explaining how her friends cheated death, Omolade said: “It was one of the students in JSS 2 who first inhaled the poisonous fume. Few minutes after he complained about the fume, it had enveloped the classroom block. First, we all thought the fume was from a canister because the Area G police command was few meters away from our school.

“While we all gathered at the ground floor of the building waiting for the fume to subside, one of the students in JSS 2A, identified as Lateefat collapsed. Few seconds later, other students began to follow suit; that was when we all raised the alarm.

“While others slumped, I didn’t but I had breathing difficulty and began to experience stomach ache,” she added. Omolade said that she woke up to find herself being fanned by some people before she was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

According to her, “I didn’t know when I slumped. But the last thing I remembered was the few minutes I spent at the Caterpillar Bus Stop, Ogba, while waiting for bus.” She added, “My friend told me that I fainted at the Bus Stop. It was my friends who hired a taxi that took me to the hospital.”

Another victim who simply identified herself as Adefisayo , said, “I was playing during the break. I perceived some odour I could not comprehend. I developed stomach ache and I suddenly fell and I woke up to find myself in the hospital.”

Aside Omolade who was discharged at the early hours of yesterday, others were still hospitalized. Some of the students still hospitalized were: Tijani Mariam, Subaidat Oladokun, Adebiyi Taiwo, Muiz Rodiat, Onaigbe Blessing, Karimat Akiode, Rasak Gbolahan, Modupe Idowu, Titilope Idimu, Alhassan Salamot and Yusuf Salamot. When Saturday Vanguard visited the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja, sources said that doctors were still conducting series of tests on the students to determine their health status. They added that the students maybe released on Monday.

But that would be determined by how they responded to treatment. Speaking to Saturday Vanguard, Mr. Oladokun, father of Zubaidat Oladokun, said, “What the officials told me was that they cannot discharge the students now until Monday after they would have completed the necessary medical tests on the patients.”
He lamented that the result of the last emission which affected 25 students of the school was yet to be released by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, in the incident that nearly claimed the lives of the pupils.

Oladokun said, “some of the pupils who were affected by the chemical emission last year were also affected and are in still in critical condition following another emission from the same complex located beside the school premises. Mrs. Folashade Alhassan lamented, “The recurrent incident is becoming worrisome.
The incident happened almost the same time last year. The chemical reacts easily on our children. If this continues, it may damage something in their body. Governor Fashola must come to our aid. Why would the school expose our children to dangerous chemicals almost every time?”

[Photo] See The Kogi University Lecturer That Teaches Jihad & a Boko Haram Member.

2014-03-08T08:28:00.003-08:00

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, yesterday, denied bail to Dr. Mohammed Nazeef Yunus, a lecturer at the Kogi State University, accused of being the spiritual leader of a Boko Haram cell situated at Igala land in Kogi State.
This came as the Department of State Service, DSS declared that the Kogi varsity lecturer propagated terrorism across the federation by the teaching of virtues of Jihad (Holy war).

The accused lecturer who had been in the custody of the Directorate of State Service, DSS, since October 30, 2013, was on February 3, transferred to Kuje Prison, Abuja, on the order of the trial high court.

Others the court ordered should remain in prison custody yesterday were Alhaji Salami Abdullahi and Umar Musa, who were both accused of belonging to the Boko Haram sect.

In a ruling, Justice Gabriel Kolawole said it would not be in the interest of justice to release the accused persons at this stage of their trial, stressing that in view of the prevailing atrocious acts of the Boko Haram sect in the North Eastern part of the country, it was safer to deny them bail.

Citing the wanton and mindless killing of innocent people, especially the recent massacre of students of the Federal Government College Buni Yadi by members of the Boko Haram, Justice Kolawole, said he was minded to exercise his discretionary powers to grant bail against the accused persons.

He maintained that the court, in exercising its discretion, must do so judicially and judiciously, “The bail applications are hereby refused,” the Judge held, even as he okayed accelerated hearing of the charge against them.
Besides, the court dismissed plea by the 2nd accused, Salami, to be released on health ground.

Meantime, the court yesterday slated their trial for March 18, 19, April 3 and May 6.
Government had alleged in an eight count charge before the court that the trio, within the months of May and October, 2013, at Ayangba in Kogi state, engaged in an act in furtherance of acts of terrorism by not only acquiring weapons, but also recruiting new members for the Boko Haram Islamic sect.
According to the charge, some of the weapons recovered from the accused persons included 2 AK-47 Rifles, 2 Magazines and 60 rounds of live ammunition.
By belonging and supporting the illegal activities of a proscribed organization, the government, said the action of the accused persons ran contrary to sections 4, 10, 12, 16(1) (4), 17 and 18 of the Terrorism Prevention Act, 2013, as amended.

The accused persons had since pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Federal Government earlier disclosed its intention to call about six former students of the accused lecturer to appear as witnesses before the court with a view to establishing his complicity in the propagation of terrorism across the federation.

The prosecuting counsel, Mrs N.B Jones Nebo, told the court yesterday that there was a prima facie evidence to prove that Dr. Yunus, supervised the burial of weapons in the ground. “My Lord, we have also by way of evidence shown what the weapons were meant for. We have identified the ones we have discovered so far, which from all indications, were the case of keep this, we are getting more”, she added.

The DSS had maintained that the 44 years old lecturer and a graduate of Islamic University of Medina, Saudi Arabia, confessed that he had over 80 adherents, and hitherto conducted preaching sessions every last Saturday and Sunday of the month at Ethosho Secondary School Ojiolo, Dekina, Kogi.

He was said to have confessed that his adherents were specifically taught the virtues of Jihad (Holy war) and the sanctity of the Sharia system as an alternative form of governance.
However, in his application for bail, Dr. Yunus, argued that under the Nigerian Constitution, he ought to be presumed innocent until his guilt is established, contending that the same trial Judge earlier released Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume who was equally accused of having a relationship with the Boko Haram sect, on bail, pending the determination of the charge against him.
According to counsel to the accused person, Mr Hassan Liman , SAN, “I urge my Lord to grant the accused bail considering that he has made a convincing and compelling case to warrant the exercise of discretion in his favour.

He is a family man, a University Don with PHD. His detention has in no small measure, affected his academic relationship with the students. More so, there is no evidence that he has ever committed any offence before. I plead the court to take judicial notice of the antecedents of the accused person”, he added.

On his part, Salami, who was fingered as the major financier of the terrorist cell in Kogi state, yesterday, begged the court to release him from prison detention on health grounds.
Salami, through his lawyer, Chief James Ocholli, SAN, further tendered a medical report signed by one of his sons, Hayatu Abdullahi, a medical Doctor at Garki General Hospital, Abuja, which indicated that he has a critical medical condition that requires constant medical attention.

In the report, the 2nd accused person who was alleged to have hosted several nocturnal meetings that were held by leaders of the Boko Haram sect in Kogi state, was said to have at e point, went into coma for three months and was flown to London in an air ambulance.
Ocholli, told the court that his client received treatments at Wellington and London Bridge Hospitals in the United Kingdom, adding that there was no evidence linking him with any of the other accused persons.
