Hey guys, welcome to today’s simple YouTube analytics for more views on YouTube. As a small-time Creator, I’m always looking for ways to increase my YouTube views. Because of the more views you get, the more chances you will increase your subscribers. Not to mention that more views will also lead to more money, and I know we all would love to earn more YouTube dollars.

Simple YouTube Analytics For More YouTube Views

I reckon a lot of Creators, like myself, pretty much hate analytics, which is why I have ignored it for so long. However, I want to succeed on YouTube, so I bit the bullet, and I looked at my YouTube analytics to see if I could work out a way to boost my views. I discovered that by studying specific aspects of my analytics, I could make small changes to a video which did increase my YouTube traffic.

I wanted to share this with my viewers so I produced a video called YouTube analytics for dummies. My simple YouTube analytics video shows how changing my thumbnail, and other small changes

I used my funny locker room joke as an example in my video.

As you can see in the image above my clickthrough rate, which is explained in the video, was a dismal 1.9%. No wonder I wasn’t getting many views! People didn’t find my thumbnail or heading or both, compelling enough to click on it.

I made a couple of changes and as you can see in the image below, my clickthrough rate went from 1.9% to 5.4%!

That is quite an improvement and so from now on I will be paying more attention to my YouTube analytics.

Are you looking for the best blog traffic tips? The most frustrating thing about being a blogger is putting all that effort into writing your best posts only to sit back in dismay when nobody comes to visit your posts. You know it has to do with traffic, but you always thought that once you’ve created your content, the traffic will come. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. It all has to do with SEO, and today I’m going to look at Rachel’s ten tips to grow your blog traffic. I repurposed this post from the above video using Content Gorilla and Grammarly coming up with my best blogging tips. I’ve also added my own expertise to enhance the post even further.

Rachel claims her ten super simple strategies once implemented will boost your blog traffic month after month.

Best Blog Traffic Tips For Your Blog

The first thing you need to do if you want to increase your traffic to your blog is to post consistently. When you share great content with your readers regularly, you give them a reason to come back to your site. You need to decide how many quality blog posts you can commit to each week, choose your posting days, and stick to that schedule. It will be easier for you in terms of content creation, and your readers will always know when to expect a new post on your blog. More importantly, posting consistently and optimizing your posts gives you more chances to get your content ranking in search engine results.

Sharing Your Content On Social Media

The most significant hurdle a lot of bloggers face is the inability to share their work. For some reason, they feel uncomfortable promoting it on social media and the like. If that’s you, it’s time to let those feelings go! You should be bloody proud when you create amazing content. You should be proud to share your content on social media which will increase traffic back to your website every time you publish a new post. Especially when someone loves your content so much, they share it with their contacts.

Whenever I publish content, I always share it on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. I’ve found that more traffic comes from Facebook than the other two. I know some blogger do very well with Instagram. I don’t bother with them because I have such a small Instagram following.

It’s also a good idea to include a Pinterest friendly graphic for sharing there as well. For SEO reasons, you should always add at least one image in your post, making sure the alt tags contain your keywords.

Social Sharing Plugin A Must

Sharing your content on social media is excellent, but it’s even better when your readers take that next step to share something you’ve published. If you want people to share your content though, you need to make it easy for them to do so by adding social sharing icons on your blog which you can do by adding one of the many available WP plugins. It is also a good idea to leave a call to action at the end of your post, asking them to share if they got something out of your content.

Apart from your content, the most critical part of your blog post is the heading, the title of your post. Your heading can either make or break you. It’s the first thing your reader sees, and if it doesn’t catch their attention, they won’t stick around long enough to read your post.

Once past the blog title you want to ensure the introduction of your post captivates them enough to read on, otherwise they may not stick around long enough to get to the vital part of your content, the part that makes you the income. Something else you need to keep in mind is not to trick your reader with a misleading headline as this will ruin your credibility.

Some SEO Tips

If you want to increase the amount of organic traffic coming your way, you need to make sure you’re optimizing all of your blog content. So, take the time to do some research to find the long-tail keywords that would get you the best results. You want something that has a high search volume but lower competition so you can stand out. Make sure you strategically place your chosen keyword in your blog title, your meta description, in image alt tags, and throughout your post. Just make sure you don’t overdo it as keyword stuffing apart from ruining your content is not good SEO. I use the Yoast SEO plugin, which warns me when I’ve used too many keywords and also helps with other SEO hints.

Guest Posts &Best Blog Traffic Tips

Another way to get your brand out there is to approach other bloggers asking them if you can do a guest post. If I’m lucky enough to write a guest post, I always monitor it for comments so that I can reply to them which shows the blog owner and their readers that you care and are willing to share your knowledge. When I used to accept guest post on my blogs, I always made it a requirement that they had to reply to all comments; otherwise, I would remove their links from within the post.

When doing guest posts, don’t be afraid to pitch larger websites, but you should also reach out to sites that are on the same level or even smaller than yours. Reaching out to sites that are in your niche is also an excellent idea. Find influencers in your niche and ask if you can interview them which will provide valuable content for your readers to check out. Once the interview is live, the influencer in your interview will surely promote it to their audience, sending more traffic your way.

Making connections in the blogging world is so important, whether you’re searching for friends or new readers. I found the best way to do that is by being a regular commenter on their blogs, ensuring you always leave exceptional comments which may even encourage them to visit your blog, leaving a comment in return.

Another way to find new people is through Facebook groups or other online forums. With so many Facebook groups these days, you’re sure to find some that are relevant to your niche. And if you spend time there, you’ll be able to reach your target audience and direct them back to your website.

Always keep in mind that many Facebook groups have rules about promoting your site. Make sure you read and respect rules for any Facebook groups you join. However, if you’re active in a group and you have your blog linked as your job in your profile, it’s an easy way for people to discover your site.

Best Blog Traffic Tips & Evergreen Content

Creating quality evergreen content is another good way to get traffic to your blog. Evergreen content is content that never gets old. It’s relevant today, next week, and even a year from now which means that people are always searching for those evergreen topics giving you a better chance of getting them to your site.

Creating a plethora of optimized, evergreen content will ensure that in time, you’ll see the traffic rolling in. The best way to increase your traffic is to know what works best for you so don’t be afraid to try new growth tactics, ensuring you keep an eye on your analytics to see what’s is or isn’t working for you. Once you know what works for you, it’s a matter of rinse and repeats to grow your website effectively.

I hope you like my simple traffic increasing strategies that will help you improve your blog traffic month after month. Make sure you’re implementing these strategies as well as trying new ones to determine what delivers the best results for you.

When a website gets hacked, scary stuff happens. If you want to stay protected in today’s world, you need to look at the top security tips to build a trusted website. If you’re a small business owner, it is also crucial that you have a trusted site? The question is, how to go about building a trusted site? Because there are so many different ways to do that it can get confusing. This post will go over the best security tips to build a trusted website because I believe that is the number one thing that worries most small business owners. So, it is essential to ensure their site is secure, which is why SSL Secure Sockets Layer, a computing protocol that provides the security of data sent via the Internet by using encryption) is so important.

SSL One Of The Best Security Tips

Here is how an SSL works. Say you type in your password, without SSL a hacker can intercept and steal that password. With SSL, the hacker no longer sees that password. So, instead of sending plain text over the Internet for anyone to read and steal, the SSL gobbledygooks it up. Now, if anyone were to catch that password, it just looks like nonsense.

Not only that, but the SSL’s also going help boost your SEO rankings because Google loves secure websites. Which is super helpful, and will also get rid of that annoying “not secure” warning. The lack of that warning will, in turn, build confidence with your prospective customers.

Not Secure: Losing You Clients?

We’ve all seen that Not Secure warning while surfing the Internet at the top of our browsers. I know I have. I also know that at times it has swayed me to move on. I can only imagine how many potential customers it has turned away, mainly because of all the bad press it has received.

A lot of people don’t understand the more technical aspects of the Internet. They see that “not secure” warning and they bounce, like, “Whoa, this site’s not safe. So, my first tip is to add an SSL. And it doesn’t have to cost you anything because there are some free providers out there. Just go on Google and search “SSL”.

Adding A Malware Scanner

Adding a malware scanner is another way of protecting your website.

There are a lot of questionable pricks out there, and just like they’re willing to infect your computer, they can do the same thing to your website. They can install malware on your site, and you won’t even know it. The search engines do though, as do many browsers, and they will warn people away.

It’s, therefore, essential to stay protected because a lot of scary stuff happens when a website gets hacked. What’s worse is the malware can redirect your visitors to some pretty questionable sites. Which makes you look bad.

Imagine, you’re a small business owner that sells children books, and visitors to your site encountered malware that directed them to a porn site. How horrifying is that? I can’t see them returning to your site again. That hurts your brand and its so hard to regain their trust.

So, it’s essential to protect your site with a malware scanner. This way, if anything were to happen, you’d know straight away and can do something about it before it’s too late.protected.

I’ve gone one step further by installing a firewall plugin on my blogs. If anything the firewall is more important than a malware scanner. Look at it this way. Malware is like someone breaking into your home and leaving you with a mess to clean up. That’s what a malware scanner does. The firewall ensures they don’t get into your house in the first place.

If you have a blog, you can get a good firewall plugin for free, like Wordfence. Or you can go one step further by getting the Premium version of the plugin which includes an endpoint firewall and malware scanner. What you need to decide is whether or not your business is worth the extra expense.

I remember when one of my blogs got hacked, and all the headaches I went through to get it working correctly again.

Which is why you should always backup up your site regularly, I recommend doing a monthly backup. So if something were to happen, you wouldn’t lose all that hard work you put into building up your website.

I hope the security tips in this post is of some help to you.

– There’s a lot of scary stuff that happens when a website gets hacked. – Comment below with your passwords. (laughing) – But if you really want to stay protected in today’s world, like that is absolutely crucial. – Welcome to The Journey. Today we’re going to talk about the top security tips to build a trusted website. All right, Nealey, what do you suggest for small business owners to get a trusted website? How can they go about that? – Yeah, and there are so many different ways to do that, and we’re going to go over that in this video, but I think the number one thing that’s really top of mind with a lot of small business owners is making sure their site’s secure and getting rid of that warning at the top with an SSL.

Now, an SSL, what it does, instead of when you type in your password on a site, Emmawantspizza! (chomping) So, don’t share that at home, so instead of sending that over the internet in plain text for anyone to read, the SSL gobbledygooks it up so that if anyone were to catch that it just looks like nonsense, like the word gobbledygook, and that’s a technical term, right? And then that SSL’s also going to help boost your SEO rankings since Google really likes secure websites, which is super helpful, and it’s going to get rid of that “not secure” warning.

Have you seen that at the top of some browsers? – Yeah. I can’t say I’ve always listened to it, but… After this I will. – Right. For most people… – And I’ll change my password. – That don’t understand like the more technical aspects of the internet, they see that “not secure” warning and they bounce, like, “Whoa, this site’s not safe, I’m out, I quit, I’m out” Right? – I’m naive. (laughs) – So that’s coming to my first tip for you is to add an SSL, and that can be, there are some free providers out there, there’s some paid that have a little bit extra features to them, just go on Google and search “SSL”. – All right, Nealey. You already know I have a business, Coffee and Kickflips, and you’ve mentioned things about security and malware, but what is that, how do I go about that, why? – Yeah, so another way we can protect your website is to add a malware scanner.

Now, just like computers get viruses, your website can get a virus or malware on it, too, and it helps to stay protected because there’s a lot of scary stuff that happens when a website gets hacked. It’s not just a random thing, they’ll redirect your visitors to some pretty bad sites. I was talking to a small business owner and she wrote children’s books and she had interactive books on her website and her website got hacked and it got redirected to not so great things. They’re sending little Timmy, who thought they were going to read a book, to some pretty questionable sites.

And that just hurts a brand and it’s hard to come back from. – Mm hmm. So, you want to make sure you’re protected with that malware scanner so if anything were to happen, you’re protected. And you go one step further with the firewall. I know you- – So firewall, that’s stronger than malware? – Yes, malware you could think of like someone just broke into your house, now you need to get everything cleaned up. That’s what that malware scanner is going to do. – Got it. – The firewall is going to make sure that they don’t get into your house in the first place.

– Yeah. Okay. – Which is super helpful, it’s something that are going to cost a little bit more money, but if you really want to stay protected in today’s world, that is absolute crucial. – So, thinking about this, I’ve been fortunate so far with Coffee and Kickflips, but my fears of this happening is because my friend’s site, he sells grip tape for skateboards, it actually was hacked. And, the mess and the time and the money it took to get his brand back, the website up and running perfectly, took a lot, took a lot out of him, too. So, I can see why you want to look at the different variances of security and then I’d just go all the way (laughs) right? – Right, and that could have potentially been avoided, right? – Right. – Your friend had to rebuild everything and put all this time and effort back into doing damage control. And one way you can basically avoid that is to have some sort of back up solution on your website. Now, I would recommend having like a 30-day or a 60 day just rolling backup, so if anything were to happen, it’s like snapping your fingers and poof! Your site is back and all that effort and work that he put in there – It’s like magic.

– It’s fixed, it’s like nothing ever happened. All right now, Emma, I want you to be honest with all of us, you have a doc online that has all of your password information? – I do, actually because I don’t want to forget them. Very organized. – No! – What do you mean? – That is so secure! What happens if anyone were to get access to that doc? – Oh, I see where you’re going with this (laughing) – Now they’re in everything. Your bank account, your pizza account, all those things, right? – Got it. Okay, – So you don’t want to have that sensitive information, no matter what it is, whether it’s your passwords, your credit card information, or just stuff about you that you don’t want anyone to know about, right? You want to make sure that’s offline, in a secure place and try to remember it? There are some password vaults that could potentially help you out with that, so you don’t have to have your passwords just there.

– Yeah. And should I have a different password for different things? – Yes, absolutely. – Okay. – You shouldn’t use the same password on one place as you do everywhere else. – Okay. – Because if a website you use gets hacked, they have your password, they now have you password to everything. All the things, right? – Yeah, I have a lot of work to do. – Yep. All right, so to kind of piggyback on that you want to make sure that you’re not sharing your passwords with anyone, even if they’re your most trusted advisor. – What about, like, my manager, though. – Probably not them too. I’ve ran into a lot of experiences where a company owner gives their employee their password information and then the employee doesn’t work for that company anymore and they’ve done some damage. So you want to be safe and cautious about your passwords because they’re yours, right? – Right. Okay, so I hear you on not having my passwords all in one place, also not having the same password being used for all my accounts.

Next question, how often should I be changing my password? – Kind of often, I would probably recommend every three months or so, keeping it fresh. I know it’s a lot of work, we have a lot of passwords and logins to all these different sites, but Google does a really good job with their browser to save your passwords, so you don’t always have to remember them.

There’s the one-click logins with Apple login now and Google logins, Facebook logins to help you better secure your information and that way you don’t have to remember just a ton of passwords. – Yeah. – Now, another thing we need to think about is your Wi-Fi situation. You have an unsecured or secured Wi-Fi? – How do you know? – Do have to use a login or password to get into your Wi-Fi? – Yes, absolutely. Because I didn’t want the neighbors to be, just– – You don’t want them stealing you Wi-Fi, right? – Yeah, get your own Wi-Fi.

– Cool, so you want to make sure you’re on a secured network, especially in your own home. Put a super, super, super complicated password on your Wi-Fi to make sure you’re protected. Now, I know a lot of us, ourselves included, like going to local coffee shops and connecting to the Wi-Fi there and that’s an unsecured network. So, if you type in your passwords on that network, it gets sent over and if anyone is just listening in and peeking in on that network, they can potentially see your stuff.

– Okay, so probably shouldn’t be checking my bank account when I’m at the coffee shop, – Probably not. (laughing) So, if you absolutely have to for whatever reason, you can get set up with a VPN from any provider. Just google VPN provider and that’s basically going to set up an encrypted connection to their server to help you protect your information if you’re on those unsecured locations. All right, so that’s all we have for you on our top security tips to build a trusted website. – Be sure to comment below. Tell us a favorite thing you learned. Also, like and share this video. I’m sure a lot of your local heroes and friends have similar questions. And subscribe and don’t forget to ring that bell to be the first to know when we have another video coming out.

Have you ever taken a photo only to find out later there was an unwanted object in that photo? This post is about removing objects from photos. Yes, people can be classified as objects so you can also remove unwanted people as well.

Removing Objects From Photos How?

A while back, I did a post about Luminar 4 called Best Affordable Photo Editor. Luminar 4 is also able to do that, but I haven’t been able to test that feature out. Anyway, this post is about Inpixio. In a previous video, I showed how Removing Background With Inpixio was a breeze. I use this feature a lot to produce images for my posters as well as in my videos. It also comes in handy when making thumbnails for my YouTube Channel. Speaking of which, I’m always looking for subscribers for My Bonzer Channel.

I’ve never needed to remove a person or an object, or more to the point, I’ve never thought about doing it. One of my YouTube commenters brought it to my attention, and so I decided to test out that part of Inpixio.

And so my video Remove People With Inpixio came to life. In that video, I removed people from different photos as well as a barn from a lovely landscape image. You will see in that video how Inpixio works flawlessly with some pictures and not so well with others.

The creators of Inpixio knew some photos would be too much of a challenge for their software built in a cloning tool to deal with the results of those photos where the object removal was less than desirable.

Other Interesting Things To Do

If you like to laugh, check out my Laughaholics Videos, especially my LOL Irish Jokes video.
