<p>One of the best ways to do that is by visioning your goals, intentions, wants and desires on a regular basis.That’s why the vision board is so powerful… it’s a collection of pictures and words that Keep our intentions in front of us. I’m looking at my vision board right now. It hanging on the wall so I see my goals, desires and intentions every time I walk or by, sit to contemplate or sit to write. I even have my vision board set as the background on my iphone so its always with me as a visual motivator.</p>
<p><strong>Join us at Wellness Rhythms Wednesday Jan 11th at 7 PM for the</strong><strong> Vision Board Funshop led by Jennifer Imbody.</strong> Jennifer calls her funshop “No Paintbrush Required” Jennifer’s last vision board funshop at Wellness Rhythms was so inspiring that she is back by popular request!</p>
<p>Jennifer is a practice member here at Wellness Rhythms. She is also a Retired Kindergarten teacher.  Perhaps that explains why Jennifer is so organized!  Jennifer, in her big hearted way, had 5 tables of words and photos she had cut from magazines  for our vision boards. She even supplies the poster board, magazines, glue, tape and scissors…all you need to show up with are your dreams, goals and intentions!</p>
<p>This is a no charge event and you are welcome to invite friends and family.</p>

<p>Are you feeling pulled in many directions this holiday season?  Are you feeling stressed out about the holidays? Well you’re not along.</p>
<p>It’s that time of year when many people shift gears and the holidays take center stage.</p>
<p>Often, the holiday season is not all comfort and joy. It can be a time of great emotional and physical stress.</p>
<p>Here are some suggestions for reducing stress so that you and yours enjoy the holiday season.</p>
<p>1-     Take a break each day for yourself. Try mediation, prayer, a nap or read a book.  Exercise go for a walk or do some yoga. These are ways of reducing stress and energizing the body.</p>
<p>2-     Eat properly and drinks lots of water. Don’t use the holidays and stress as a reason to over-eat. Although the holidays bring with them sweet treats and extra appetizers, try not to make food the primary focus.  And remember, just because someone offers you something, you do not have to accept.</p>
<p>3-     Maintain your regular exercise routine and get to bed at your usual time or earlier.</p>
<p>4-     Watch your alcohol consumption. Although some people believe alcohol decreases your stress, it is only a temporary solution.</p>
<p>5-     Don’t overdo work, eating, drinking or being merry. Overindulging in any of these areas is draining afterward.</p>
<p>6-     Plan ahead and allow extra time for shopping and travel. Stores airports and highways are extra busy this time of year.</p>
<p>7-     Breath is great for reducing stress and anxiety in the moment especially when dealing with difficult people, crowds or standing in line. Breathe in your nose and out your mouth.
