Spring is a glorious season of rebirth so start the clean up from winter and prepare to have fun.

Happy new year to all. As promised, information on your medicine cabinet, wellness with essential oils is soon to follow.

It is a wonderful time of the year. A time to collect your thoughts and be thankful, a time to remember those lost and less fortunate than one, and a time to share yourself with those you love and even those you don't.

On a healthy note, keep the thieves blend ready to wipe down surfaces and ward off germs. Drink ning-xia red anti-oxident juice and keep up a good routine of exercise, rest and sensible eating.

Since I last blogged many things have taken place.
I am now a level two Reiki practitioner and completed another course in aromatherapy.
Currently I am taking courses in Reflexology.
My interest have only grown with the essential oils as I witness their numerous benefits.

Remember it's summer, so spray yourself and family with 2 drops of purification oil mixed with5-10 drops of v6 oil and all the pesky bugs are a thing of the past. It is safe and natural.

Drink plenty of water and add a few drops of lemon oil for its refreshing taste and added benefits.

   I have written about some of the uses of peppermint, lemon,and lavender. Today I would like to mention my all time favorite and most versatile of essential oils ,frankincense.

   Frankincense has been around for a very long time. It is a healing oil that no one should be without. Among its earthy, balsamic scent it has very calming properties that increase spirituality and inner strength.I love blending a drop or two with 5-10 drops of a very pure carrier oil and using it on my face .It helps in repairing sun damage, renew healthy looking skin and minimize oil production and breakouts.

   Look up frankincense(google it) and be thrilled with all the information on this wonderful natural healing substance.

   Be sure to remember that from a healing or wellness point of view ,only pure unadulterated essential oils really having any healing properties.Everything thing else is just perfume grade; meaning they may smell terrific ,but their health value is zero.

Peppermint

Hi Everyone,

Ever have a headache that won't quit? Unfortunately we all have, at one time or another. Hence, I want to share information on peppermint oil with you that will really be helpful.

Among its uses, peppermint essential oil when rubbed on your temples will relief if not get rid of a headache almost on contact. I know it sounds like magic,but I assure you that it is not. Essential oils are absorbed through your skin and cross the brain blood barrier very quickly.

Another use of peppermint oil is for your sinuses. Stuffy sinuses easily unclog and breathing returns to normal in a very short time.

Peppermint also works wonders on upset stomachs. One or two drops in a bit of water or with some agave or honey is a soother.

A note of interest; it takes 28 cups of peppermint tea to equal 1 drop of YoungLiving Peppermint Essential Oil.

Hi Everyone,
   Sorry for the delay I was away on an unexpected trip.

   I would like to discuss Aromatherapy and Essential Oils. Aromatherapy literally means to to treat with aroma through inhalation.

   If you would like to be proactive about your health and wellness and particularly the state of your emotions, then diffusing Essential Oils is the most practical and effective way to enjoy their benefits.

   Lavender is a very versatile oil, however, most of us are exposed to only perfume quality Lavender oil. Though it may smell fantastic it will have very little therapeutic value. YoungLivings' Lavender Oil is pure and you will easily reap the benefits.

   Lavender is great for burns so it is wise to keep some in the kitchen. It is also wonderful as a tonic for your skin and can easily be added to bath water leaving you fresh and relaxed. Lavenders' uses are very varied and can be referenced in the Essential Oil Desk Reference, a book you should have.

   Lemon Oil is also very versatile in its uses. You can add it to water and drink it, providing good digestion and a good source of Limonene which has been shown to have anti -cancer properties. Lemon Oil works great on pimples,blemishes and acne. It dries up the site and restores area to health. Another great use is on callouses and corns, it reduces them substantially if not getting rid of them completely.

some are tapped.All parts of a plant can be used, the roots,stems,and leaves.

The purity is what is most important. If the product has been diluted with lesser carrier oils the result of

you having success with these natural products is slim.
