The major attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos and the hotels. The most famous hotel casinos are located on Las Vegas Boulevard on the portion of that road known as the Las Vegas Strip. These larger casinos are located outside of the city. Many of these hotels are massive, providing thousands of rooms, with their large adjoining casino areas. There are many hotel casinos in the city's downtown area as well, which was the focal point of the city's gaming industry in its early days. Several large hotels and casinos are also located somewhat off the Strip, as well as in the county around the city.

Some of the most notable casinos involved in downtown gaming are on the Fremont Street Experience which was granted variances to allow bars to be closer together, similar to the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego.
Located in the Pacific Ocean at 27 degrees south of the equator and some 2200 miles (3600 kilometers) off the coast of Chile. Sixty-three square miles in size and with three extinct volcanoes (the tallest rising to 1674 feet), the island is, technically speaking, a single massive volcano rising over ten thousand feet from the Pacific Ocean floor.

The oldest known traditional name of the island is Te Pito o Te Henua, meaning "The Center of the World". Over the centuries that followed a remarkable society developed in isolation on the island. For reasons still unknown they began carving giant statues out of volcanic rock. Enjoy the beautiful island idyll and relax once they really.Even though it's been bisected by a long path of blistering white concrete. Ko Tarutao retains that quality on many parts of the island. The island of Ko Tarutao has never been enduringly settled, so it was a perfect spot for both pirates and prisoners. Common prisoners were held at Talo Wow, but important prisoners were interned at Talo Udang. Though little of the prisons remain today, they are a popular trip for the tourists that trickle in during peak season.

There’s a lot of visitors in the island of Tarutao's which appeal in the wildlife: crab-eating macaques, mouse deer sea, turtles, whales, monitor lizards, and more all call the island and its surrounding waters home. There's no snorkeling apparatus for rent, as waters are murky compared to other Andaman islands, but for most, the clean beaches, waterfalls, great hiking and views more than reimburse. Island trails are well-signposted and maintained.

The people, who visit this island are dropped off at the Ko Tarutao pier where the is collected. A small shop near the pier sells drinks, snack food, and toiletries. It's open from 8:00 – 17:00. At the Visitor's Centre rangers speak good English and can show you photos of accommodations and sights around the island.
The park restaurant serves reasonably-priced Thai food, sandwiches, and western breakfasts and is open from 07:30-14:00 and 17:00-21:00. Lights are shut off around 22:00 to discourage farang from drinking all night long. Dogs wander around aimlessly and cats swarm about diners' ankles, lured by generous tourists. Also, beware of the monkeys! They raid the trash cans and have been known to steal meals on occasion. Restaurant staff will usually replace your meal if this happens.

There are no medical facilities or banks on Tarutao. The park office cannot accept travellers checks, credit cards, nor foreign currencies, so make sure you have enough baht before you leave the mainland.

Koh Chang Island of Thailand

Koh Chang Island of Thailand Holidays & Vacations. The resort people are super friendly with your typical Filipino hospitality.

Amazing Blue River of Balabac Island Philipiines

Amazing Blue River of Balabac Island Philipiines. There a lot of rivers in the Philippines but this river is one of the amazing and astounding of the Philippines. Why? But first let’s put this in a question (?) Have you ever seen a stream with blue waters? Yes! There’s a Blue river which is located somewhere in the remote island of Palawan in western Philippines and partly belong to the island of Balabac. I did when I had a field trip with my students in one of the remote islands of Palawan in western Philippines. It’s some kind of magical. The sea is sometimes rough especially during the rainy season so the trips are irregular.

There’s a group of people which they examine water bodies for living organisms. For rivers or streams, the groups should turn over the rocks and explore the crevices of the riparian zone as well as the edge of rivers or streams. The groups did so, but to their dismay, they have seen no life in the stream with blue waters. Questions arose whether the stream with blue waters is a natural phenomena. There is a need for the groups to go further upstream to find out what caused the blue coloration. It’s as if somebody is washing some clothes using some kind of detergent that made the waters of the stream blue.

They walked a few hundred meters more upstream and we were taken aback at what we saw. From whence the river flow came is a topped over hill. The local residents told us the place was a former copper mine site.Residues of cupric sulphate on the ground caused the blue coloration of the stream.

When the rains come, the cupric sulphate residues on the ground are carried off to the nearby stream, causing the waters to turn bluish. The former mine site was not rehabilitated the reason why the stream has blue waters. It’s an environment degraded due to strip mining.

Balabac Island of the Philippines

Do you want some rest and have fun? try this wonderful view and amazing view of this Island. The Hundred Islands National Park will give you to that question. The Hundred Islands National Park It is the foremost tourist destination in the Province of the Pangasinan in northern Philippines. It is a five-hour drive north of Manila passing through Pampanga, Tarlac, and finally to Alaminos. (Pangasinan: Kapulo-puloan or Taytay-Bakes) somewhere in the province of Pangasinan in northern Philippines. It is located in Alaminos City, Pangasinan. The islands (124 at low tide and 123 at high tide) are scattered along Lingayen Gulf and cover an area of 18.44 square kilometres (4,557 acres). They are believed to be about two million years old.
