Fall is here, and with it, the holidays are just around the corner! To celebrate, we have created two new photoblogs: I Saw a Pumpkin for Halloween, and I Saw A Santa for Christmas.

So keep your camera at the ready! You can even submit photos from holidays in the past if you want to.

New Site!

We know it's been a while since we've talked.... But we've been busy! Remember our feature Frame of Shame? Where photographers from around the world could upload photos to illustrate problems and causes local to them so that the whole world would take notice? Well, we decided that the idea was too big to be just a feature on WeSay.com, and we've developed it into it's own site: http://www.frameofshame.com.

Using our cameras, we photographers can capture and communicate our local issues to the rest of the world in a way that plain words just can not. Photos are direct, and succinct. And the internet and its social sphere give us a platform that can reach the whole world. Reading about an issue is one thing, but seeing it is so much more.

At FrameOfShame.com, you can share the photos you post with others much more easily, and we've made uploading easier as well. Anyone can post now, and anyone can comment, not just members.

Visit FrameOfShame.com and take a look around. And if you have any photos that tell a story the world to take note of, be sure to upload them today!

Cabin Fever

As a blizzard approaches our offices here in Chicago, we here at WeSay are extremely thankful for all of the great photos of beaches that our members have been submitting this month. There's no better way to take one's mind off of the approaching snowpocalypse than looking at photos of distant and warm beaches! Look for winners to be announced in the next week.

Well, anyway, now on to February's special theme, which is "On the Phone". Even though actually talking to people seems so dreadfully quaint these days, people still do actually use phones. So send in your photos of people everywhere talking on, or using a phone.

Dog days of December?

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and we have a lot to be thankful for here at WeSay.com, especially the many entries we got for the November contest. Photos "rolled" in from all around the world, which is pretty fitting, given that the theme of the contest for the month was "Transportation". We're reviewing all of the great entries now, and winners will be posted within the week!

But in the meantime, keep uploading your photos. The theme for December's contest is "Dumb Dogs", so upload your photos that capture Man's Best Friend having an off day, or even a snap of him doing something that's not all that dumb after all.

We picked only the ripest and juiciest of photos, and what a crop it is! It's been pretty hot here at the WeSay headquarters this past week or so, and the forecasters say we're not going to see much relief any time soon. Luckily for us, the special theme for the WeSay photo contest this month is water! Do us a favor and upload your photos of the people in your neighborhood doing something with the wet stuff - playing in it, jumping in it, swimming in it or dressed for it. That way, even though we will be stuck inside in the heat all week, we can least enjoy some sweet relief vicariously through your photos!
