We are pleased to announce that we will be co-hosting the 3rd Annual DC Junior Gold Tournament. Most of the matches will be held at George Washington University and other clubs across the District. 

To minimize impact we will be confining the tournament to Courts 1 and 4 starting Friday 9/5 at Noon through Sunday 9/7. Members have unrestricted access to Court 3 throughout the tournament.

Squash On Fire will be hosting the U17 & U19 draws, which guarantee exciting matches, so please come by to watch and support our Squash On Fire trainees.

I am currently updating all of our squash player to our matching system (Hive) and make sure everyone is at least register to us squash. So people can find new players and new games.

As the winter season approaches we will again this year welcome the public school (We are now open to all Public schools) for our 4th year in a row in our facility. In order to bring them greater opportunities (Lower fee, participation in Tournaments, registration to US Squash...) We are looking for financial sponsorship for the team. Weekend Clinic for Juniors
Starting September 14th the weekend clinic (On Sundays) for Fall until November 30th are restarting.
We will have 3 clinics for different level. Clinics are $475 for the season (14 sessions - 1hr) (15%off regular clinics)

- 12:30pm-1:30pm - Mini Squash - For 4 to 7 Years old.
- 1:30pm-2;30pm -Novice & Beginner- 8+ Years Old, new to the game or have limited knowledge
- 2:30pm-3:30pm -Beginner & Intermediate - 8+ Have knowledge of the game.

Fall Junior Training
Fall is upon us and the Fall Junior program will restart Starting June September 8th until October 25th.
We are accepting all High school and middle school students. The Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday starting at 4:15pm until 5:45pm. The season is $495/Per students.

Winter Public Schools Training.

SCLA Championship
Our first championship is coming this winter so make sure to participate. We are looking for 4 months of self schedule matches and a month with one weekend for the finals. I hope to see all of you participating.


Ball Machine Training
In our wish to improve your game we will be introducing a new program with training with a ball machine. You will be able to receive a training with a pro and the ball machine and able to reserve the ball machine to perfect your technique.

- Summer League

Strong of our victory during winter, summer league is approaching and the teams are forming. The season and matches will most likely start Mid June.
So if you are interested in joining the league please contact me at fabien.sarran@squashonfire.com with your level so I can connect you to the appropriate captain. 

- Competitive Ladder

I am happy to announce our new competitive ladder. This ladder is mainly directed to players who wants the real challenge. It adds more competitiveness so people can have games and improve their rating as every match will count toward the rating of the player. It will also help create a roster for the league to help captains with the roster and also players so they know on which division they should be playing. If you are a league player you will be added automatically on it.

Requirements to be on the Ladder: 

- You must be a member of US Squash.
- If you are a league player you must be on the Ladder

Please let me know if you would like to be part of it. 

- Box (Social) Ladder

The box social is almost done for the month of May so make sure to add your scores in US Squash. If you would like to be part of the Social Ladder please let me know.

The Winter League Season is done and SCLA has successfully won Division 1 - Division 2  and Division 3.

Looking for a great camp for this summer!

Squash on Fire is having a "Champion's Camp" will be run by Amir with two world ranked international players as trainers. This is geared towards elite juniors preparing to compete in the European Junior squash Circuit that takes place in late-June through early-July. We will selectively invite Juniors that are ranked top 100 in the country to train/compete internationally as SOF at SCLA trainees. Here are the details:

Dates: June 16th – June 24th, 2014
Min. Ranking: U19 <#100, female/male
Max. Trainees: 12
Price: Avg. daily price is $350/pp per day, Full-day camp. May be open to half-days or shortened camp on a case-by-case basis.

Following our great Winter Season the Kids Sunday Squash School is back for Spring

We will still accept students 2 weeks after the starts but no later as they will not be able to catch up with the rest of the group. 

Clinics will start Sunday April 6th and will run until June 22nd for a total of 12 sessions.

A minimum of 5 players will be expected to have a valid clinic. If the there is not enough players we might move the players to another group based on their age and level. 

The price for the clinic is $400 per player for the season. And $50 discount for the returning students.

Mini Squash (Ages 3-7) Sundays 12:30pm - 1:30pm - Our young beginners learn all about the game from our Squash Pro

Beginners (Ages 7-12) Sundays 1:30 – 2:30pm - This beginner clinic with our Squash Pro is for children who are new to the game of squash

Intermediate (Ages 9+) Sundays 2:30 – 3:30pm - This intermediate level course is for all ages with a basic knowledge of squash. Our Squash Pro will help participants take their game to the next level

Advanced (Ages 9+) Sundays 3:30pm - 4:30pm - This advanced-level squash clinic will help players hone their skills
