Responsible for coordinating the nursing care of patients presenting to Emergency Services ranging in age from pediatrics to geriatric, who may present at any point on the continuum from illness to wellness. Performs all aspects of direct patient care and works with other disciplines/ancillary services in the care they provide. Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program and current Maine registered nurse license. Previous experience/knowledge of nursing care in acute setting preferred.

Responsible for the performance of a variety of technical procedures involving the application of roentgen rays for patient diagnosis.andnbsp;Assists the Radiologist with interventional procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology. Progressive experience and demonstrated technological skills. Continuing education is expected.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients ranging in age from neonatal to the elderly. Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other members of the health care team in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with current State of Maine license, active Basic Cardiac Life Support card or successful completion of course during orientation.

Provides necessary clerical work in processing emergency/ancillary services, ambulatory care and inpatient admissions, utilizing computer equipment as appropriate. In addition, processes patient charges, assists with billing and other Patient Business Office procedures. This job also requires operation of the switchboard and physician answering service duties, attendance of the Information desk and operation of/response to various safety and security systems. Outside of normal office hours, the Patient Registrar is also responsible for the night processing operation of the computer system for the Information Systems Department, and for retrieval of patient medical records for the medical staff.andnbsp; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or more to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Current Maine RN or LPN required.
