To escape the blistering Las Vegas heat, you can relax at the pool at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. This luxurious pool is located outside the 3rd floor of the hotel and offers a spectacular view of the strip skyline. The pool itself is heated and runs year round. The pool is open 9AM – 8PM  during the summer. During other seasons the hours vary. To accommodate for children, the pool depth starts at 4 inches and goes to as deep as 5 feet. To really relax in style you can snap up one of the 18 poolside cabanas available. At the LVH pool you’ll also find shaded gazebos, a 25 seat jacuzzi and pool beds.

Cabanas: Cabanas have a flat screen TV, ceiling fan, safe and a stocked fridge.

The pool at the Luxor covers 5 acres of land and they fill it with as much relaxation as they can. There are 4 pools and 4 jacuzzi’s throughout this lush landscape. There’s a bar and grill that is located at the pool. Drink service is also available here. You can use the chairs and chaises for free, but they are first come first serve. Rafts are available to rent for $10 and there’s also a few other pool toys as well. Luxor Pool cabanas come with towel service, dining table, four chairs, stocked refrigerator, flat screen TV, fruit plate, a newspaper, two rafts and four lounge chairs. Guests who are staying at the Luxor can come right in, but non-guests will have to fork over a $10 entrance fee.

The pool parties on the Vegas strip are legendary, but what about off the strip? The Aliante Station hotel, in north Las Vegas, wishes to bring the Vegas pool party experience to northern valley residents. They’re hoping to attract a few tourists as well of course. The party is called Sunday Splash and it runs from 2PM-7PM. Typically there will be about 250 party-ers enjoying the festivities there every Sunday. The crowd here is estimated to be about 80% locals, including some stationed at nearby Nellis Air Force Base.

Cabanas: There are six cabanas which go for $150 and eight “ca-beds” for $50.
Price: $15 per person
Hours: Sundays 2PM-7PM

The New York New York pool area has just one swimming pool but three whirlpools. The main pool has a volleyball net so you can play and have some fun in the sun. Poolside you’ll find deck chairs to rest on. You can also get a massage right by the pool if you wish to indulge yourself. To enhance your pool experience, New York New York has installed a superb sound system. There is a dining area there too so you can grab a bite to eat while still in your bathing suit. While in the swimming pool, you’ll get a great view of the Manhattan Express roller coaster ride.

Cabanas: There are 6 cabanas. Cabanas come with a TV, misting system, ceiling fan, rafts, a stocked fridge, suntan lotion and of course personal service from a cabana host.

By day, the pool the pool at the Artisan hotel looks like an exotic hideaway that is lushly landscaped. Here you can lounge in your private cabana or on a daybed surrounded by palm trees and flowers. By nighttime, the music gets pumping louder and the lights, as well as the guests, get turned on. It’s a lively party here with a DJ playing music. Although not generally advertised, women can go topless here, unless it’s some sort of special event. It’s always good to ask beforehand though if you don’t see anybody else doing it. Sundays there pool parties are from 3PM-10PM and they play Reggae, Deep House, Afrobeat and Downtempo. Mondays it’s the Aqua Boogie party from 12PM-12AM. Tuesdays it’s the industry pool party. Finally on Thursdays it’s the On The House pool party from 11AM-6PM. There’s free food here until 3PM.

The GO Pool, found at the Flamingo resort, is an adults only pool. The pool area is surrounded by palm trees and flamingo figurines. This swimming pool used to be topless but that policy has since changed. The pool closes at the end of September and when open, is open from 9AM-5PM daily. According to the Flamingo’s own website, guests who are staying at the Flamingo get in free if you have your room key. Others pay $15 on the weekends. Several reviews I’ve read though hint that this is not always the case.

Cabanas: Your first bottle is included in the price of the cabana rental. Other amenities here included iced towels, plasma TV, XBox360, wifi access and frozen fruit.
Hours: Open 9AM-5PM, but is only open seasonally.

Here’s the WetVegas.com review of the pool at the Monte Carlo resort. As far as hotel prices go, the Monte Carlo is a good place to stay at. It’s a good mix of good price and good hotel. Anyways, back to what you’re here for, a few words about their pool. The pool area is 21,000 square feet. There are four separate pools. The Lagoon pool is 1,900 square feet and it’s a regular swimming pool if you want to do some laps and stay on top of your workout regimen. The Wave pool was created to simulate an ocean. This pool is 4,800 square feet and creates waves that are a few feet tall. Finally there is the Easy River Ride, in which you are carried down 400 feet on a simulated river.

Cabanas: There are 8 cabanas.
Hours: 8AM-5PM

There are two pools at the off the strip Green Valley Ranch resort, the Back Yard and the Pond. Their main pool, the Backyard pool, is open from 10AM-6PM and is free to hotel guests, with a $20 cover for Vegas locals. The Pond is the adults only pool that has a more pool party atmosphere.  This pool used to allow topless sunbathing but policies have since changed.

Cabanas: Mon-Thu: $150, Fri-Sun: $250, Holidays: $400. Cabana amenities include water, juice, energy drinks, red bulls, danishes, fruit platter, chips and salsa, a newspaper and a private cabana host.
Hours: The main pool is open from 10AM-6PM while the Pond is open from 11AM-6PM

The Voodoo Beach Club is located at the Rio resort. VooDoo Beach at Rio has real sand beaches, cascading waterfalls, five Jacuzzi-style spas, four swimming pools and offers poolside massages. There are also four poolside blackjack tables open during the weekends. There are cabanas and daybeds available for rent. Daybed rentals include chilled towels, bottled water, and a complimentary five-minute massage. According to the Voodoo Beach page on the Rio website, it says that it’s open to the public, both guests and non guests, and that there is no cover charge. Several reviews I’ve read even mentioned that they allow European sunbathing here, but this has not been confirmed.

Cabanas: There are 5 cabanas that can be reserved. These include fresh fruit, your own server and bottle service. You might want to reserve these ahead of time since they get booked fast in the summer time! It is a great idea to get a group of friends together and spend the day relaxing in style at The Voodoo Beach Club, cabana or no cabana! Enjoy…

This 53,000 square foot pool is the party to be at. It includes saltwater pools,cascading waterfalls, a stage, massage therapists on site and there’s free wifi. The daytime partying at Wet Republic gets as loud and wild as some of the late night Vegas clubs. This pool party can hold about 1,600 wild revelers taking in the sun and the music. Celebs seen here include Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Even Diddy has performed here. There are weekly bikini contests on Fridays.

Prices: During weekdays, men are $20, women are $10. Weekend or special event prices vary.
Hours: Open daily 11AM-6PM, but only March – October.
