Have a look at the post by Carmel “Repulsion Camel” Sepuloni on Red Alert. She has got to be ever ruder and disrespectful that Tiger Mallard. I know some arse will point out that I am not so good in those stakes, but I am not an MP. There is a way to behave and a way not to. “Repulsion Camel” has stepped waaaaay over the line, leading me to believe that Goff most certainly is not in control of his caucus.

I just came from the Civic Opening for the Pasifika Festival. Prior to the concert beginning, there were formalities in the VIP tent. Unfortunately the turn out was poor – probably because the Auckland City Council only made the decision to run this at the end of last week. Our Pasifika leaders were there along with members of the City Council and of course that soon to be GONE (thank goodness) Auckland City Mayor was in attendance.

So good-oh, she slags off Auckland City and John Banks in the space of two sentences. I hope she never has to work with him, though John is far too professional to let a scrubber, interloper from Palmerston North phase him.

Pasifika people are very good with the protocol and demonstrate the respect that should be afforded to our Tangata Whenua – Maori. Unfortunately it was the Auckland City Council staff and the Mayor that undertook the formal proceedings that unfolded in the VIP tent. None of those that spoke acknowledged Ngati Whatua or the Chairperson of the Ngati Whatua Board (who was there) – Graham Hawke.

How do you like the underlying racism of the next three sentences. Brown people know about respect and white people are evil.

The only person that John Banks acknowledged was the one National MP in the room – Nikki Kaye (over and over again…to the discomfort of our Pacific community present). The only other thing that I recall John Banks rambling on about was the Mayoral race (as if anyone in that tent will be voting for him!). John Banks couldn’t even bring himself to say a simple ‘Talofa Lava’…I guess any language other than those stemming from European countries would be too much to ask of him.

Well it was no use talking about anyone from Labour, Nikki cleaned out the fat, lazy bitch and boy do Labour hate that. Then we get to the real condescension that has me seething. After having experienced Maori racism and rudeness the day before the last thing I wanted to read was her racist drivel. Why do Labour presume that because people are born they should vote Labour? That means they see Sam Lotu’Iinga as some sort of Uncle Tom. This sort of bullshit needs to be called out. For this reason alone I am glad that Labur MPs blog, because they let their guard down and think they can say what they like and no-one will notice. These are the true opinions of Labour MPs and we now know that is racist and condescending not only to her own people but to everyone else. Oh they like to preach inclusiveness but we can really see what they think.

They want Brownie voters to stay in their place. Well fuck them, and the dog they walked in with.

They then closed those formal proceedings and then attempted to return to mix and mingling with their glasses of merlot. The music had started up but unexpectedly Graham Hawke took to the podium. He was as respectful as always but obviously disturbed by what had just unfolded. He pointed out very clearly the special relationship between Maori and Pacific and the support that Ngati Whatua have always demonstrated for Pacific and the Pasifika festival. He also pointed out very emotively the disappointment he felt from Tangata Whenua having been completely overlooked and ignored during these proceedings – and rightly so. As an onlooker I was almost reduced to tears out of embarrassment for what had unfolded. Following the speech from Graham Hawke – one of our Pacific leaders took to the podium and provided a formal apology for the complete disregard for Ngati Whatua that was demonstrated by the council – it was a genuine gesture and I’m sure it was accepted by Graham Hawke, but everyone in that room was still left feeling incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Why is that Labour, Maori and Pasifika people always cry over things insignificant? God, the tears rolling down faces of submitters yesterday just proved to me that Maori are only interested in finding grievances, and blaming others. Now from Repulsion Camel’s racist rant we also know that so do some Pasifika people. I’ll also bet you dollars to donuts that her story is largely fact free, what’s wrong with a few lies to keep the brownies down and grieved over some slight and still voting Labour.

You know what fucks me off the most about the liberal elite socialist troughers of Labour. They truly believe that they have spent the last 9 years in government helping the poor brownies, the poor whiteys and the downtrodden. It is of course utter crap they have done anything of the sort. Were it true all of the bullshit Clark et al shoved in face every-time they opened their gobs then all those poor downtrodden people that the Tories were going to sacrifice to the gods of capitalism wouldn’t still be living in the same shitty suburbs, in the same shitty street, with the same shitty neighbours, with the same shitty house, doing the shitty things they have done for the same shitty 9 years and sending their kids to the same shitty schools, to do the same shitty thing that they did so they can have the same shitty life bestowed on them by the same shitty politicians that keep them down in the first place. because to raise someone out of the gutter and to have them aspire to success is to lose a voter once they realise that Labour tells lie about how it cares for poor.

Fuck them. God I hate socialists, all they aspire to is mediocrity.

It has started, we now have un-elected officials deciding what we can and cannot see on the internet. Except we don’t know what they are filtering. They won’t tell us that. The Department of Internal Affairs calls it filtering, suck a nice unobtrusive name for C E N S O R S H I P.

But hang on a minute, in the Dirty Doctor of Palmerston North case a judge said that if the child porn is from overseas it is not really the same as if it was here in NZ so not that big on the scale of offending. Welcome to the end of freedom of expression and the start of Net Censorship. Welcome to the true avbent of the Nanny State. Now they are deciding for us, without reference to us what we can and cannot look at on the internet.

My tolerance for this government is fast expiring, ok it is nearly in need of resuscitation. Now, I’m no kiddie fiddler or child-porn advocate, anyone who knows me knows I despise them. In fact I personally dobbed a creepy Scout Leader and got him chucked out. He subsequently moved to Auckland and last I heard was trying to become a Teacher. Lovely. But having a big filtering filtering god knows what on the internet, because they won’t tell us needs to be knocked on the head.

To make matters worse, read this story of how the Iranian Government shut down dissent. For all those people who had a little green box on their Twitter accounts, read this and be afraid.

“Collecting interception data is a process which takes place in the ‘background’, assuring that the intercepted target (end user) is never aware of a possible interception,” the manual describes. “The maximum number of simultaneous active interception sessions is 50,000.”

This manual has been read by police officers in Tehran. It ended up in my hands through the back door.

“Nokia Lawful Interception Gateway”, reads the cover page. This has been rumoured for a long while. Nokia Siemens Networks has supplied Iran with telesurveillance equipment, the details of which I have tried to track down since last summer. Now, one of the products that NSN supplied to Iran has been leaked to Fifi. This system enables just the type of surveillance that NSN has denied participating in.

It looks bad. The package gives users extensive power to monitor citizen mobile phone as well as mobile internet usage.

But it isn’t illegal. Similar systems monitor our own telecommunications. The question isn’t about Iran, but more broadly about what kind of surveillance is permitted – or mandated – in the networks we use. Who controls them?

So what? I hear you say. Well it just so happens our biggest Mobile player and also a rather large ISP has exactly the same gear as the Iranian mobile networks. I know this because I asked Paul Brislen.

Nokia Lawful Interception Gateway (LIG), Has the Government?

So, I sent the article to Paul Brislen and he confirms that they have the gear mentioned in the article, in fact their entire network is provided by Nokia. He thinks it is funny. Well read on;

Nokia Siemens Networks refused to reveal what they had sold to Iran. “Just this small add-on”, the company’s media relations office replied again and again when I questioned them about it. “I don’t recall its name right now”, said Communications Manager Riitta Mård. “It has nothing to do with internet surveillance.”

In fact, at least three separate systems were exported to Iran. Nokia built a GSM network; the GSM network was provided with the LIG system that I acquired; and the LIG has been upgraded with the “add-on” that Mård described. Mård remembers the name of the system now: Monitoring Centre (PDF). It’s a test platform that, according to Mård, only is only suitable for monitoring telephone calls.

The commotion caused by the NSN trading with Iran has been mostly about the Monitoring Centre. The actual problem now seems to be the more extensive LIG.

And this is where it gets interesting, even for the ordinary Western mobile phone user normally untouched by Iran’s political storms. LIG, with its extensive monitoring capabilities, or a comparable system by a different manufacturer, is monitoring all mobile voice and data networks around the world, including here in Finland.

And that dear friends is how a government can shut down dissent overnight. Now you know how the Iranian government managed to shut-up the freedom movement.

In fact, it is precisely because of us Europeans that these extensive monitoring systems first became legal and then mandatory worldwide. Europe has spearheaded the transition from more restricted surveillance methods to extensive systems like the LIG: systems that store all of the target’s communications data during surveillance for future investigation.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Who indeed? Now do you all see why we need a constitution like this. This sort of nonesense is why we need the protection of a constitution especially the First and second amendments. Now watch then implement a more draconian s92a that that which we think there should be. The hugley ironic thing for me is the penalties for breaching copyright is 12 times higher than a “serious breach of the foundation of our law”, that being name suppression. Name Suppression is just one affront to our rights as citizens. Little by little they are being eroded away.

The one on the right dummy.Hemi Matenga is yet another trougher. One mission of this blog is to out those who will steal taxpayer and ratepayer money as if it was just lying in the trough for them to sup on.

Porirua city councillor trougher Hemi Matenga has not attended any council meetings or workshops thus far in 2010, despite saying in December he was “committed” to serving his community and regaining the people’s confidence.

Mr Matenga was missing from the February committee and full council meetings, a recent Treaty Partnership Group meeting and a hui with Ngati Toa.

Councillor Euon Murrell, who put a notice of motion to request Mr Matenga’s resignation in December, is unhappy about ratepayers’ money being paid to the absent Eastern Ward representative. A councillor earns $26,278 a year, so Mr Murrell estimates Mr Matenga has received about $6000 during the past three months but hadn’t earned it.

“It just reinforces my view that he should have taken heed of the vote [11–3 in favour of him resigning] and done the decent thing. By not showing up he is showing contempt for the process. I would have thought he should have at least come to the hui and contributed, but he doesn’t seem to be interested. No-one’s seen him at all.”

Allegations of theft were levelled at Mr Matenga in October after money went missing from his former employer Bodyworks. Police did not lay charges after being satisfied he did not intend to steal, but said Mr Matenga complicated matters by lying about what had happened to the money.

Oh right! the Father Ted defence, the money was just resting in the account. Lucky the cops are stupid in Porirua eh?

Chris Barton has a splendid article in the NZ Herald today. Splendid for a number of reasons. One because, it is shining light of excellence in the current editorial darkness reigning at NZ Herald and two, because it tells the cold hard truth about the state of the play and history of spineless Communications ministers. Cardinal Richelieu would do well to read it and take heed.

The time is rapidly approaching when we discover whether Steven Joyce has what it takes. Whether he is a communications minister with mettle or whether he travels the way of so many communication ministers before him — to the realm of the spineless jellyfish.

No point wasting words getting to the crux of the issue. Now for a history lesson, when it is all in one place and with out the spin of politicians it is an indictment on various governments and individuals.

Maurice Williamson went there, championing the ideology of the light-handed regulator, but consigning the country to the slow lane of telecommunications for more than a decade in the process. Paul Swain went there too. Faced with the big decision — whether to open monopoly services to competition — poor Paul didn’t have the bottle. He’ll forever be known as the minister who the dropped the unbundling bundle. He too set the country back another decade in the process.

Then came brave David Cunliffe, the minister who lived up to his name and slew the Goliath, Telecom. It wasn’t a slingshot to the forehead. Cunliffe used the twirling bolas of operational separation around the ankles to fell the giant and curb its rampant monopoly power. Sadly, Cunliffe was weak on the mobile front — where duopoly rather than monopoly rips off consumers.

And that is just when Ministers had the responsibility, since then “Karori Bill” went and took that decision making process and put it in the hands of Telecom and Vodafone the Telecommunications Commission.

But in the end the task fell to Trevor Mallard who handled it with all the aplomb of a spineless jellyfish.
By machinations too tedious to mention, Vodafone conspired, with the help of Bill English, to force the minister, in 2007, to step aside from adjudicating in the arcane arena of mobile termination rates. Basically, these are fictional fees mobile operators pay each other for calls terminating on one another’s network. In truth they shouldn’t exist at all, but such is the power of telecommunications companies, they can make fiction reality and rort the hapless consumer. Which is why New Zealand has one of the most expensive mobile services in the world.

I’m not entirely convinced, had he been given the chance, that Cunliffe would have brought the Vodafone/Telecom duopoly to heel. But in the end the task fell to Trevor Mallard who handled it with all the aplomb of a spineless jellyfish.

I just bet Tiger bursts forth in a rant on Red Alert about this article. The truth hurts Tiger though, he is spineless, especially when he has to won his own shit.

Joyce has two big decisions on his very near horizon which will show us his true colours. The first is whether to regulate mobile termination rates and the second is to decide who to partner with to build our new “open access” fibre network. If you are pro consumer, the answers to both are obvious. Regulate mobile rates and have the power lines companies lay our new fibre. Whatever you do, don’t give Telecom a sniff at the latter.

You betcha Telecom should have now’t to do with the Fibre network. They can’t even run their mobile network.

Regulate, because we’re sick and tired of paying through the nose for our mobile phones. And give the new “ultra fast broadband” job — which involves $1.5 billion of taxpayers’ money — to the lines companies because the telcos, especially Telecom, have all shown they’re not only not interested, they’re not up to the job. Even when it builds a new network, Telecom still manages to make it broken.

Yep. Arguably, moving data is far less taxing or demanding than deploying power to every house.

If anyone has any doubts about this it’s worth reading the Ministry of Economic Development’s statement about this grand scheme. “Private sector companies have decided, on behalf of their shareholders and as a commercial decision, not to invest in a nationwide network of fibre-to-the-home at this point in time.”

Translation: Since the Labour government, in a fit of stupidity, sold our telecommunications network for a $4.25 billion song to private ownership, it has been run down to such a decrepit state that we (the Government) now have to bail it out.

Or as the MED puts it: “The Government understands this, and so wishes to assist and work with the private sector in improving the business case for ultra-fast broadband because of the public benefit to be gained from such a network.”

Lets hope what that really means is: “If we are going to stump up $1.5 billion for a new network (something a sensible Telecom should have been progressively making over the past 15 years instead of taking exorbitant monopoly rents for its shareholders) then we’re sure as hell not giving Telecom a bean.”

So far zero faults with Chris Barton. His article is a succinct view of the parlous state of telecommunications in New Zealand.

Finally a message for Cardinal Richelieu.

So far, you have to say, Joyce has played with an exceedingly straight bat. But it won’t be easy negotiating the quagmire of a split recommendation by Commerce Commissioners on mobile termination rates. Two argue for putting heads in the sand while one voice of reason says enough is enough — Vodafone and Telecom have had more than enough time to sort this out and have, time and again, shown they can’t be trusted.

Joyce will be familiar with the sordid last-minute deal stitched together between new mobile entrant 2degrees and Vodafone last year. While the public isn’t allowed to know about this venality, anyone who cares to can find it online (search under “NZ Cellphone racket”). It shows that Vodafone will move if it has a gun to its head. Joyce will also be familiar with www.droptherate.org.nz and www.fibretothedoor.co.nz — two campaigning websites where the public is helping the minister make up his mind.

Go there at once.

What fed-up consumers want minister, is Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry. For some of us, it’s so bad, we don’t just want Clint to pull out his .44 Magnum and ask whether the punk feels lucky. With Telecom and Vodafone, we want him to pull the trigger.

And on the Thursday, Chris Barton rested, and he saw it was good, good it was.

Is this a case of video games kill, guns kill or stupid parents kill?

Mistaking a loaded gun for a video game controller, a 3-year-old in Tennessee accidentally shot and killed herself, officials said.

Cheyenne Alexis McKeehan of Norene, Tenn., shot herself Sunday night after her stepfather left his loaded Smith & Wesson handgun out on a table, Wilson County Sheriff Terry Ashe said.

Cheyenne’s mother told police officers that the child was used to playing a shooting game with the Nintendo Wii video game console and likely confused the real gun with the realistic-looking black toy gun, the sheriff said.

“The unfortunate thing is that this Nintendo game called Wii had what looks like a solid black, basically automatic-looking type mechanism that operates the game,” he said. “Unfortunately, the stepdad also had a .380 caliber black Smith & Wesson. The child was used to playing the video game.”

Clearly a case of stupid parents, removing a lovely but stupid child from the gene pool. Oh and don’t come at me with the “if there wasn’t a gun there she wouldn’t have died” crap. I’ve told you before Guns don’t kill People, Stupid People kill People. The step-father was the one who killed her not the gun, the gun is a piece of inert metal until a person picks it up and operates it. Gun Control as thought of here won’t stop criminals getting and using guns, but it will stop stupid people killing themselves or their loved ones.

The Four Rules
1. All firearms are always loaded
2. Never let the muzzle of a firearm point at anything you are not willing to destroy
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
4. Be sure of your target and what is behind it
There surely can’t be a more ridiculous proceeding than watching troughers line up one after the other begging to stay at the trough.

I can tell you it was an eye opener. The three submitters before gave submissions that were frankly ridiculous.

There was a couple of submitters who’s great idea to stop Maori smoking was straight out the Eugenics/Nazi handbook. If only the other submitters and some of the committee were smart enough to notice. He rambled on first about how much he was missing all his dead whanau killed by the evil tobacco companies who targeted them, then forced the cigarette into their mouths, then forced them to flick the bic to light it. Then he gave his great idea, a software database the records all of the whanu, hapu, and iwi members and their parents and their parent’s parents. Then record all those who smoke and then they would be able to trace the bloodlines to identify new mokopuna who’s bloodline suggested that they would smoke. Pure unadulterated bullshit. The most unbelievable aspect of his submission was that he was able to muddle along for about 30 minutes un-interrupted.

The next person to submit thought it brilliant to reinvent myths fairy-tales “Maori History” and re-tell the tales of Maui, Tane Mahuta etc but with a no smoking message. Like Maui couldn’t have fished up the North Island if he was a smoker because he wouldn’t have been fit enough. But that wasn’t all, they then wanted to put all that to music, hip-hop or whatever and design a kapa haka dance. Yeah that’ll work. Again from this submitter there was much wailing again about the evil white man’s smoke stick. Again they rambled past their 15 minutes uninterrupted.

Next up was veteran trougher Teresa Taylor. Who with her daughter presumably, the other half of T& T Consulting told us all about her mothers 15 siblings who were murdered by the tobacco companies. Much blame, finger pointing and grievance claiming. And all with the “support” of Shane Bradbrook, Te Reo Marama master trougher who kept patting her back as she recall the tragedy of 15 uncles and aunties dying and how she missed them all so terribly. As I wiped a tear from my eye i got my box of documents ready.

Then the guy immediately before, well half-man really, he had a body like a half sucked throatie, told us that his parents and grandparents smoking, now dead, had caused him to have itchy eyes, blood noses, skin irritations etc. I wondered if he had ever heard of hayfever and migraines.

Now it was my turn, I was called. “Cam, bro, your turn, get up here” from Tau Henare. The room went cold, the air crackled. Death-stares came out. Shane Bradbrook and Teresa Taylor shifted from the back of the seating to right up behind my chair. I started my submission and not 2 minutes into it Metiria Turei interrupts me mid sentence and tries to call time. I shit you not. then she negotiated with Tau Henare and they gave me 8 minutes more. Fuck me dead. I couldn’t believe it. It seems if you are Maori you can waffle on with idiotic ideas and If you are a white Mofo telling the truth about the 40 troughers sitting behind you the think it is ok to be rude, and interrupt. Well fuck them I thought and carried on. Next time I was interrupted it was by some Labour moll doing the same thing. I think BK was asleep beside her. Same nonsense, give 2 more minutes, I was up to 12 minutes. Then cut off. It seems like they don’t like hearing the truth. The whole way through my submission Shane Bradbrook was cursing me under his breathe, audible to me only. When I challenged the troughers and the committee to tell me exactly how many smokers there are, they scoffed at my claim there were no statistics fresher than 2005. There isn’t, it was a safe bet.

Loud complaining started when I said that everyone who has submitted before me in the course of this committee or will submit after are nothing but troughers asking for more money to stop smoking. The simple facts are that money won’t work, the only people being helped by all the money are the troughers and their immediate families. In 2004 when this Industry began under Labour there were 700,000 smokers, on one of the troughers websites in their 2009 strategic plan, a plan I might add contained only one number, quoted that there were 700,000 smokers. Well they are the experts, that is what they get all the funding for so it must be right. So, for the grand total of $168,712,369 we have not many any progress. We have essentially thrown money away and the troughers have gleefully picked it up.

I’m told that today was the first time media had attended, and they unattended as soon as I finished and went outside, only to be accosted by a woman. Who was more than a little ticked off with me. The louder she talked the softer I talked. Eventually she gave up. The media packed up as soon as I did and left as soon as I did, seems they weren’t interested in anyone else’s submissions.

This whole process is a farce, every single submitter except me had a vested interest, they are either knee deep in the trough, in charge of the trough or in more than one instance doing both. The whole Tobacco industry is nothing but a huge fraud perpetrated in New Zealand. They have no KPI’s, they measure nothing, is it any wonder we are chucking $55 million a year at this and going nowhere. They were basically asking for more of everything. Well I say fuck them. Show us some results. They can’t and they know it.

I learned one thing for sure, this is just another grievance drive for Maori who are intent on blaming everyone but themselves, but who is say we don’t deserve it, we have bred this dependence and feeling of grievance. It’s our own fault and for sure no one on that Select Committee is going to upset the troughers.

My respect for Metiria Turei evaporated to nothing today by her petty politics in a Select Committee process against a submitter who wasn’t on her team and wasn’t brown.

They sure didn’t like it up them.

Yesterday’s NZ Herald carried a big woe is me tragedy schlock piece about a mother who drowned her baby by leaving it in the bath being baby sat by its twin sister. Now you might think I am being overly harsh but this morning, ironically a much smaller frontpage area, we find out what we really should have found out yesterday.

The mother of a baby girl who died after being found face down in a bath was regularly visited by Child Youth and Family which gave her advice on how to provide a “safe and loving home” for her twin daughters.

The Herald has learnt Child Youth and Family had been in contact with 21-year-old mother Amber Lawson and had visited her and her 11-month-old twin daughters, Aimee and Ella Pool, at their West Auckland home several times.

Aimee died on Sunday afternoon, five days after being found face down in the bath.

Right, now that is embarrassing for the Herald. Just one day after Janet Wilson predicted this exact behaviour from Granny. The mad dash to dramatist a baby’s death missed the vital piece that made this case so not frontpage material.

Yesterday she was the feature, now the Herald is reduced to trolling Bebo for information and then like good little repeaters they repeat it.

The Herald has been unable to contact Miss Lawson, but a picture on her page of the social networking site Bebo page shows two baby girls, wrapped in blankets, lying on a couch side by side.

I fear Janet was right.

Just last week Clare Curran was berating Matthew Hooton about a single sentence in a press release where he said that he had had positive meeting with Labour MP’s over the Mobile Termination Rates. She stated that Labour didn’t have a position and those MPs only had personal views.

So it is some relief that the Labour Party and Clare Curran have settled their differences with independent commentator Matthew Hooton and now released their position on MTR, supporting regulation. Their press release says;

The Government should put consumers first and regulate mobile termination rates to keep call costs down, Labour spokesperson for communications and IT Clare Curran said today.

“High mobile termination rates are a barrier to entry for new players in the market, which leads to less competition and higher prices,” Clare Curran said.

“While Vodafone and Telecom have now offered to lower termination rates by around 80 per cent, it still does not go far enough to reduce the major issues for new entrants.

“This is also the view of Commissioner Anita Mazzoleni who in the recent split Commerce Commission report on termination rates said: ‘… the consequence [of voluntary undertakings] is that mobile termination rates will remain significantly higher than the Commission’s benchmarks during the five-year period … and remain higher at the end … . In my view, the barrier arising from the prices … continues to ensure an uneven playing field, and this will impede the benefits competition will otherwise deliver to New Zealand consumers’.

“It is clear that a voluntary agreement will keep the rates considerably higher than they would be under a regulated outcome,” Ms Curran said.

Now it is up to Cardinal Richelieu to adopt the minority position and send the message to Telecom and Vodafone that their bung, dodgy networks should be protected anymore. I am normally not in favour of regulation but in this instance regulation is actual deregulation you have went you don’t have deregulation. Well done to Clare, it is a testament to her negotiating abilities to get the Labour caucus to agree. It can’t be long before she is promoted to Deputy Leader when Annette King slides off into retirement.
Marketed in the US as a “jogger’s pistol” (Technically it is a revolver but hey what’s in a name?) — maybe not so concealed under lycra — but a .22 Long Rifle. Illegal to own in NZ due to the short barrel, No worries about pit-bulls or attack by any other mongrel when out jogging if you were permitted to carry one.

Made by North American Arms, this is the most popular mini-revolver sold. Technically it is a revolver but hey what’s in a name?

Think of these as derringer style and revolver capacity. Way more hurt, basically.

For Oswald there is even a Black Powder version. Not sure what would more effective the projectile coming out the barrel or the flash, bang and cloud of smoke to disappear into?
