There is no clickable link so the turkey behind it is living in the hope that some dumb person will reply in the hope of getting an instant fortune. Once that happens you can bet your bottom dollar that whoever is behind it is going to ask for a lot of personal information which would make this an obvious phishing scam.

So this guy is trying to secure his fortune by spiriting away $60 million! What a couple of million isn’t enough for him, greedy bastard. And then having secured that fortune he’s willing to trust it to some other moron who he doesn’t know after blowing $130 million to someone he did.  Yeah. right :D

Those of you who are regular readers of this blog know that I’m not the greatest fan of reality TV and My Kitchen Rules is no exception. I don’t care what people say and I don’t care how many people love the show I find it to be absolute crap. Tonight the wife is forcing me to watch it and it happens to be the one with the two guys from Queensland, Peter a former prosecutor and Gary a former GP.

I have to tell you I’ve watched commercials of the program and these two guys always seem to come across like two stuck up wankers that think they know everything they need to know about cooking. Unfortunately for me I’m the sort of bloke that likes to critique the crap out of some programs that I watch and tonight’s My Kitchen Rules is supplying me with heaps of ammunition, much to the wife’s disgust. Oh well, she’s the one that wanted me to watch it :D

Although the judges seem to like the entree, some tart with tomato, gruyere cheese and some sort of mustard the rest of the contestants didn’t think much of it. Then came the main course, one that apparently took three hours to prepare. I have to admit watching the other contestants eat the menu, parsley leaves and threatening to turn to cannibalism out of sheer hunger did provide a bit of mild entertainment. SHIT! Three hours to prepare the main. In reality most people I know would have left the restaurant hours ago, never to return. As for the meal itself, it didn’t look too bad on the plate, I have no idea what it tasted like but certainly doesn’t look worth the wait.

It’s commercial time and I’m just waiting to see what their desert is like. This is absolute murder to watch and the wife is being relentless about letting me leave the room. I sure wish I knew what her problem is. It’s not like I forgot a Valentines gift, or maybe a hundred bucks of roses isn’t considered enough. Or maybe it was and she somehow thinks this is some sort of reward. She is so mistaken and I’m not game enough to suggest that we remove ourselves to the bedroom for some real action as she actually seems to be enjoying it.  Ah, it’s on again, too late to slice the wrist, it’s time to grit my teeth and put up with it.

Dessert: Poached pears sauterne with two sauces. Watching these guys prepare the dessert and patting each other on the back is pretty sickening. I don’t know what the other contestants are but I would hate to think that they are as up themselves as these two guys. One word that comes to mind if asked to describe these guys is arrogant.

Scoring time and these guys still think that their food is better than everyone else. I think they are up for a rude shock as most of the contestants are giving them 4′s and 5′s. The only thing that can virtually save their bacon, which wasn’t a part of the menu ;) is the judges score.

Man, it’s been quite a while since doing a post on this blog, and it’s not because I haven’t come across any bullshit either. Seriously the bullshit has been flying thick and fast, I just haven’t had the time to do anything about it. Not my fault really considering how I am only one man and all and when you think about it there’s just so much shit happening in this world of ours.

To make it up to you I want to keep this post to be BS free which is why I’m posting a video of a joke I did on YouTube

That was a pretty old joke so some of you old timers may remember it and perhaps a lot of you younger folk will appreciate some old humour.

I hate it when assholes try to appeal to peoples greed or need for money in order to try and scam some money out of them. In my opinion that is really low but it’s even lower when they try to appeal to their Christian sensibility by bringing God into it and even mentioning a passage in the Bible!

Then you add to the equation the fact they try to appeal to a person’s humanity by trying to make them feel sorry for them, ergo the dying from cancer story, now that is really despicable. Just so you can see how low they really are, and so you don’t get sucked in if you get this email, I’ve posted a copy for you.

I have just received an email from PayPal which looks completely legit, especially as it is addressed to me personally, but I believe it to be a total scam.  This is the email.

The problem is the link withing the email takes you to the following url https://email-edg.paypal.com/r/EKDHPWQ/GILQ/IPUS5/8JGL/YHWFO/PP/h which the redirects you to this one http://www.paypal.com.au/au? Normally PayPal uses a secure site which you can tell from the url starting with https://!

Perhaps the email is legitimate but I have never known PayPal to redirect urls before. I don’t know about you but I’m not taking any chances. I logging in the good old way just to make sure I don’t get sucked in to any phishing scam.

OK, did that and as it turns out there is a policy update, but I still don’t trust that email and if I was you I wouldn’t click on that link.

I’ve just finished watching Julia Gillard, Greg Combet the Minister for climate change and energy efficiency and our esteemed second in charge Wayne Swan. They were on National TV trying to sell their carbon tax. I noticed while they were crapping on that they had a website, cleanenergy.gov.au as it was listed under the telecast. Don’t bother going there though because at the time of me posting this it didn’t exist. OK, the actual website should be cleanenergyfuture.gov.au! If they can’t even make sure their website goes live on time what hope have we that they got they got their modelling right.

The whole point of that telecast was to get the electorate to believe that they will be better off under the carbon tax. To help sell this idea they’re offering a lot to help sweeten the deal, things like;

• Nine out of ten households will be compensated with tax cuts. That’s around 6 million households! I think they plan to do that by lifting the tax free threshold to 18000
• Single pensioners will get $338 per year whilst pensioner couples get $510 per year.
• Then there was a whole lot of malarky where they will be spending billions of dollars to ensure people in those industries that will get hardest by this tax will not be effected.

Personally I can’t see how they can factor in all the variables into their modelling. They can’t know how much those companies will pass onto their customers and knowing them they will use favourable figures because they have to make the model look favourable to the Australian public. If say the electricity companies decide to pass it onto their customers, say the manufacturers, who will pass it onto their customers, let’s say the wholesalers who will pass it onto their cutovers and so on and so on. That’s not even including all the steps in between such as transport costs and the like. Do they really believe that an insignificant amount of $500 a year will cover those costs?

I’ve done a lot of posts on this blog warning people of all those lottery scams out there. Truth be told though, although a legitimate lottery site would never email you of a win when you never bought a ticket, there are online sites where you can buy lottery tickets safely. Why was I not surprised when I woke up to hear that rioters had torched the Villawood detention centre? Perhaps where they come from violence is the accepted solution when things don’t go their way but it’s definitely not the right thing to do if you’re wanting to be accepted into Australia. It appears that the riot was spurred by rejected asylum seekers, but what I want to know is why these people who had their claim rejected allowed to stay with the general population where they could fuel this riot with their anger at not getting their way?

The fault would have to rest with the current government whose weakened policies allowed the large influx of boat people. I understand that they do not like to be kept incarcerated in detention centres but they have to understand that they have entered our shores illegally and they have to be processed before they can be accepted as refugees. A process that would probably go a lot faster if they had not destroyed all their papers before coming here. What’s with that anyway, I mean what have they to hide?

Also, it must be awful to be kept behind laser wire but surely its better than the country they are running away from, a country where they feared for their lives? As awful as it must be I’m sure they are better off than all the homeless Australians who have no idea where their next meal is coming from? At least they have a roof over their heads, access to food, a computer room,  and a medical centre. At least they did before the rioters torched the computer room, kitchen and medical centre.

They want to be treated humanely and yet they act like animals throwing roof tiles and whatever else they could find at fire fighters and policemen. How fortunate for them that they are in Australia because had they acted in such a manner in their homeland I’m sure their government would not be so lenient with them.

I only hope that those behind the riots are dealt with swiftly and that they are not allowed refugee status. We do not need people who take the law into their own hands every time things do not go their way.

After stabbing Rudd in the back last year Julia Gillard proceeds to stab Australians in the back by lying about the carbon tax. Now she tells us she changed her mind because it was necessary, much to the disgust of many Australians. Let’s remember that the Labor government got in by the skin of their teeth in the last election, one they would have lost had they not promised that a carbon would not be part of their policy.

What I cam’t work out is how this carbon tax is going to change anything other than adding a huge burden on most Australians.  What makes it worse is that no-one knows what the carbon tax involves. You would think she would have the brains to work out how it was all going to work before making the reversal.

So, let’s ay that they tax those bad boys who are producing most of the carbon, what do you think their reaction will be? Yep, they will up their prices which means they are no worse off. If anything they could actually increase the prices to an extent where they are actually better off. If that’s the case why would they worry about the carbon tax at all.

Let’s say that they can do something more efficiently why aren’t they doing it now. Obviously the cost is too great otherwise they would have done it by now. Considering they have the added cost of the carbon tax where are they going to get the money to make the changes required to reduce the amount of carbon they produce?

Julia says that they will use the carbon tax collected to help those in a lower income. What happens to the rest of it? Will it be used to line the politician’s pockets? Isn’t funny how we have to tighten out belts where they increase their salary?

One of the arguments I’ve seen supporting the carbon tax is they say that Australians are one of the largest carbon produces per capita. I reckon one of the reasons for this is because of Australia’s size and the fact that we have to transport goods over a larger area than the smaller countries. That and the fact that most of our power is produced by burning coal. Perhaps if we could build some nuclear generators, but no the Greens won’t have that.

I honestly feel that this carbon tax will cause more harm than good and apart from costing us more it will also cost jobs and perhaps even go as far as forcing more companied overseas where carbon tax does not exist.

No bullshit, I sometimes wonder about the people running this country of ours. What really pisses me off is that the opposition is just as quiet about the latest fiasco to hit Aussie shores. I’m referring to the foreign land grab where foreign investors are being allowed to buy up prime agricultural land and water rights without anyone monitoring what is going on. No-one knows how much has been sold or is still being sold and no-one seems to care.

If this goes unchecked it could turn out to be a catastrophe! You don’t believe me? Then answer me this; What are the most important things that are required to sustain life? The obvious answer is food and water, so by selling off our prime agricultural land and water rights we may as well hand our country over to the foreigners. I’m not kidding, by giving them our most prized possession we are putting our heads on the chopping block. Once they control enough farmland and water they don’t have to invade Australia to take control, they just have to stop the food and water supply until we capitulate.

OK, that may be a little on the extreme side but it’s always a possibility were we to lose control of our land. Our farmers are already struggling because of the cheaper imports that are flooding our markets. Many are going broke meaning less produce being grown causing higher prices leading to cheaper imports.

We could help our farmers if everyone stopped buying foreign produce, but this is bloody impossible because of our stupid labelling laws, laws which Nick Xenophon, in his Senate Debate, calls a joke.

So, what are we going to do about it? We have to call our local MP’s telling them that this bullshit just isn’t on and that we want it to stop. These dumb ass politicians may be running the country but they seem to forget that they work for us and if they don’t do what we want, and we want what is best for our beautiful country, then we will kick them out.

To date it has 4371 likes and it can do with a lot more as Leon will be presenting this to the politicians to show them how we feel about this matter.
