Do you have a scratch on your iphone screen? Just dab a bit of toothpaste at the end of a cotton swab or a soft cloth. Gently rub it in to your screen’s scratches in a circular motion, being careful not to rub too hard and remove any surface coating. Then wipe the whole thing down with a soft, barely-damp cloth. You really need to find toothpaste, so if you’re a tooth gel family you’ll need to grab an extra tube at the store. And the trick is to just use a tiny bit of toothpaste—not like the picture above!

Moving Windows Server 2008 Image from Hyper-V to Windows 7 Virtual PC

Converting between virtual and physical machines as well as different versions of virtual platform can introduce all kinds of headaches, primarily as a result of the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer).

I simply wanted to move a Hyper-V image to Virtual PC or Windows 7 and found the image wouldn't boot. Some quick research cam up with a lot of cans and can'ts; e.g. http://blogs.technet.com/b/jhoward/archive/2008/02/28/are-vhds-compatible-between-hyper-v-and-virtual-server-and-virtual-pc.aspx while Virtual PC Guy provided some more details: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/virtual_pc_guy/archive/2004/12/16/316643.aspx

However, a quick and easy approach if your image happens to be Windows Server 2008 R2 is to simple set the boot flag to automatically detect the HAL on bot via MSCONFIG:
