Connect Two PC With WiFi Setup for PC-1:

Open 'Properties' of 'My computer'.

My computer>Properties

Click on 'Computer Name' Tab, then click on 'Change' Button. Give it a name, here we are using 'PC-1'.

Also change 'Workgroup', provided at the bottom of same dialog box. Give it any name as 'Howtix'.

Niccolo DeMasi, CEO game mobile Glu Mobile, membandingkan potensi dari gadget yang dapat merangkap aksesoris itu dengan peluncuran iPhone pada 2007 -momen penting yang menjadi katalisator banyaknya aplikasi mobile saat ini.

DeMasi dan masih banyak lagi bertaruh bahwa dengan mengembangkan aplikasi untuk gadget yang didesain untuk bisa dipakai sebagai aksessoris, mereka dapat menciptakan produk yang menawarkan pengalaman baru.

The 5 'S' Process: Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke

The 5S Process, or simply "5S", is a structured program to systematically achieve total organization, cleanliness, and standardization in the workplace. A well-organized workplace results in a safer, more efficient, and more productive operation. It boosts the morale of the workers, promoting a sense of pride in their work and ownership of theirresponsibilities.

"5S" was invented in Japan, and stands for five (5) Japanese words that start with the letter 'S': Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke. Table 1 shows what these individual words mean. An equivalent set of five 'S' words in English have likewise been adopted by many, to preserve the "5S" acronym in English usage. These are: Sort, Set (in place),Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Some purists do not agree with these English words -

they argue that these words have lost the essence of the original 5 Japanese words.

Seiri

The first step of the "5S" process, seiri, refers to the act of throwing away all unwanted, unnecessary, and unrelated materials in the workplace. People involved in Seiri must not feel sorry about having to throw away things. The idea is to ensure that everything left in the workplace is related to work. Even the number of necessary items in the workplace must be kept to its absolute minimum. Because of seiri, simplification of tasks, effective use of space, and careful purchase of items follow.

Seiton

Seiton, or orderliness, is all about efficiency. This step consists of putting everything in an assigned place so that it can be accessed or retrieved quickly, as well as returned in that same place quickly. If everyone has quick access to an item or materials, work flow becomes efficient, and the worker becomes productive. The correct place, position, or holder for every tool, item, or material must be chosen carefully in relation to how the work will be performed and who will use them. Every single item must be allocated its own place for safekeeping, and each location must be labeled for easy identification of what it's for.

Seiso

Seiso, the third step in "5S", says that 'everyone is a janitor.' Seiso consists of cleaning up the workplace and giving it a 'shine'. Cleaning must be done by everyone in the organization, from operators to managers. It would be a good idea to have every area of the workplace assigned to a person or group of persons for cleaning. No area should be left uncleaned. Everyone should see the 'workplace' through the eyes of a visitor - always thinking if it is clean enough to make a good impression.

Seiketsu

The fourth step of "5S", or seiketsu, more or less translates to 'standardized clean-up'. It consists of defining the standards by which personnel must measure and maintain 'cleanliness'. Seiketsu encompasses both personal and environmental cleanliness. Personnel must therefore practice 'seiketsu' starting with their personal tidiness. Visual management is an important ingredient of seiketsu. Color-coding and standardized coloration of surroundings are used

for easier visual identification of anomalies in the surroundings. Personnel are trained to detect abnormalities using their five senses and to correct such abnormalities immediately.

Shitsuke

The last step of "5S", Shitsuke, means 'Discipline.' It denotes commitment to maintain orderliness and to practice the first 4 S as a way of life. The emphasis of shitsuke is elimination of bad habits and constant practice of good ones. Once true shitsuke is achieved, personnel voluntarily observe cleanliness and orderliness at all times, without having to be reminded by management.

I. Izin Tinggal Terbatas (KITAS/ITAS)

Izin Tinggal Terbatas adalah izin yang diberikan pada orang asing pemegang Izin Tinggal Sementara. Menurut pasal 31 PP No. 32 Tahun 1994 tentang Visa, Izin Masuk, dan Izin Keimigrasian (“PP No. 32/1994”), Izin Tinggal Terbatas sendiri adalah salah satu jenis izin keimigrasian yang diberikan pada orang asing untuk tinggal di wilayah Negara Republik Indonesia dalam jangka waktu yang terbatas. Orang asing yang boleh mendapatkan izin tinggal terbatas adalah:

1. Orang asing pemegang Visa Tinggal Terbatas

2. Orang asing pemegang Visa Terbatas

3. Orang asing yang bekerja sebagai nakhoda, anak buah kapal di kapal atau alat apung atau sebagai tenaga ahli pada kapal atau alat apung yang langsung bekerja di perairan nusantara, laut teritorial atau pada instalasi landas kontinen atau pada zone ekonomi eksklusif.

Jadi, sebelumnya Anda harus mengurus visa untuk orang asing tersebut. Visa Tinggal Terbatas diberikan bagi orang asing untuk tinggal di wilayah Negara Republik Indonesia paling lama 2 (dua) tahun terhitung sejak tanggal diberikannya Izin Masuk di wilayah Negara Republik Indonesia (lihat pasal 13 PP No. 18 Tahun 2005 tentang Perubahan Atas PP No. 32/1994).

Izin Tinggal Terbatas dikeluarkan oleh Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi atau Pejabat Imigrasi yang ditunjuknya (lihat pasal 52 Keputusan Menteri Kehakiman Nomor M.02-IZ.01.10 Tahun 1995 tentang Visa Singgah, Visa Kunjungan, Visa Tinggal Terbatas, Izin Masuk, dan Izin Keimigrasian). Permohonan mendapatkan Izin Tinggal Terbatas tersebut diajukan melalui Kepala Kantor Imigrasi dengan cara mengisi daftar isian yang telah ditentukan dengan melampirkan dokumen-dokumen berikut:

1. Surat Sponsor dan jaminan yang ditujukan kepada Kepala Kantor Imigrasi setempat dengan mengisi formulir yang telah ditentukan;

2. Surat keterangan jaminan dan identitas sponsor;

3. Foto copy dan asli paspor atau dokumen perjalanan, Buku Pendaftaran Orang Asing dan Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas orang asing yang bersangkutan yang sah dan masih berlaku;

4. Melampirkan Telex Visa;

5. Bagi isteri dan atau anak yang belum dewasa dan belum kawin, melampirkan akte perkawinan dan akte kelahiran serta surat identitas suami atau orang tua;

6. Fotocopy Surat Izin Usaha Perusahaan (SIUP), Tanda Daftar Perusahaan (TDP) dan Nomor Pendaftaran Wajib Pajak (NPWP), RPTKA - TA. 01/TA.02/IMTA (Izin Mempekerjakan Tenaga Kerja Asing);

7. Tidak termasuk dalam daftar Cegah – Tangkal;

8. Pas foto berwarna terbaru ukuran 2 x 3, 4 lembar;

9. Membayar biaya Imigrasi sesuai peraturan;

II. Izin Tinggal Tetap (KITAP/ITAP)

Izin Tinggal Tetap dapat diberikan kepada orang asing pemegang Visa Tinggal Terbatas dan orang asing pemegang Visa Terbatas yang telah tinggal di Indonesia sekurang-kurangnya lima tahun berturut-turut terhitung sejak tanggal diberikannya Izin Tinggal Terbatas. Jadi, Izin Tinggal Tetap diperoleh sebagai alih status dari izin Tinggal Terbatas. Pengalihan Alih Status tersebut dapat diberikan atas dasar permohonan orang asing yang bersangkutan.

Izin Tinggal Tetap diberikan oleh Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi atas nama Menteri Hukum dan HAM. Permohonan diajukan melalui Kepala Kantor Imigrasi, dengan mengisi formulir dan melampirkan dokumen-dokumen sebagai berikut:

1. surat permintaan dari pemohon Izin Tinggal Tetap;

2. pasfoto;

3. surat sponsor dan identitas sponsor serta mengisi formulir

4. Foto copy dan asli paspor atau dokumen perjalanan, Buku Pengendalian Orang Asing dan Kartu Ijin Tinggal Terbatas orang asing yang bersangkutan yang sah dan masih berlaku

A tablet personal computer (tablet PC) is a portable personal computer equipped with a touchscreen as a primary input device and designed to be operated and owned by an individual. The term was made popular as a concept presented by Microsoft in 2001, but tablet PCs now refer to any tablet-sized personal computer, regardless of the operating system.

Unlike laptops, tablet personal computers may not be equipped with a keyboard, in which case they use a virtual onscreen substitute. All tablet personal computers have a wireless adapter for Internet and local network connection. Software applications for tablet PCs include office suites, web browsers, games and a variety of applications. However, since portable computer hardware components are low powered, demanding PC applications may not provide

Microsoft Windows

Following Windows for Pen Computing, Microsoft has been developing support for tablets running Windows under the Microsoft Tablet PC name. According to a 2001 Microsoft definition of the term, "Microsoft Tablet PCs" are pen-based, fully functional x86 PCs with handwriting and voice recognition functionality. Tablet PCs use the same hardware as normal laptops but add support for pen input. For specialized support for pen input, Microsoft released Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Today there is no tablet specific version of Windows but instead support is built in to both Home and Business versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. Tablets running Windows get the added functionality of using the touchscreen for mouse input, hand writing recognition, and gesture support. Following Tablet PC, Microsoft announced the UMPC initiative in 2006 which brought Windows tablets to a smaller, touch-centric form factor. This was relaunched in 2010 as Slate PC, to promote tablets running Windows 7, ahead of Apple's iPad launch. Slate PCs are expected to benefit from mobile hardware advances derived from the success of the netbooks.

While many tablet manufacturers are moving to the ARM architecture with lighter operating systems, Microsoft has stood firm to Windows. Though Microsoft has Windows CE for ARM support it has kept its target market for the smartphone industry with Windows Mobile and the new Windows CE 6 based Windows Phone 7. Some manufacturers, however, still have shown prototypes of Windows CE-based tablets running a custom shell.

With the succession of Windows Vista, the Tablet PC functionality no longer required a separate edition. Tablet PC support is built into all editions of Windows Vista with the exception of Home Basic and Starter editions. This extends the handwriting recognition, ink collection, and additional input methods to any computer running Vista even if the input device is an external digitizer, a touch screen, or even a regular mouse. Vista also supports Multi-Touch functions and gestures (originally developed for the Microsoft Surface version of Vista) and is now usable by the public with the release of Multi-Touch tablets. Windows Vista also significantly improved handwriting recognition functionality with the introduction a handwriting recognition personalization tool as well as an automatic handwriting learning tool.

Tablet functionality is available in all editions of Windows 7 except the Starter edition. It introduces a new Math Input Panel that recognizes handwritten math expressions and formulas, and integrates with other programs. Windows 7 also significantly improved pen input and handwriting recognition by becoming faster, more accurate, and supportive of more languages, including East Asian writing systems. Personalized custom dictionaries help with the recognition of specialized vocabulary (like medical and technical terms), and text prediction speeds up the input process to make note-taking faster. Multi-Touch technology is also available on some Tablet PCs, enabling more advanced interaction using touch gestures with your fingers the same way a mouse is used. Despite such advances, problems may arise with tablet functions of the OS, when, for instance, touch screen drivers are recognized as PS/2 mouse input rather than a touch input device. In such instances tablet functions may be unavailable or severely restricted in functionality.

Windows 7 touch capability is built with Microsoft Surface technologies. This is a gesture and touch-centric UI enhancement that works with most current touch computers. Among the first tablet PCs launched in 2010 based on the Windows 7 operating system are bModo12 from bModo and Samsung Galaxy. Windows has a history of tablet technology including Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Tablet PC Edition is a superset of Windows XP Professional, the difference being tablet functionality, including alternate text input (Tablet PC Input Panel) and basic drivers for support of tablet PC specific hardware. Requirements to install Tablet PC Edition include a tablet digitizer or touchscreen device, and hardware control buttons including a Ctrl-Alt-Delete shortcut button, scrolling buttons, and at least one user-configurable application button.

Windows applications

Applications developed for the tablet PC cater to the form factor and functionality available on the platform. Many forms of applications incorporate a pen-friendly user interface and/or the ability to hand write directly in the document or interface.

The Nokia N800

One early implementation of a Linux tablet was the ProGear by FrontPath. The ProGear used a Transmeta chip and a resistive digitizer. The ProGear initially came with a version of Slackware Linux, but could later be bought with Windows 98. Because these computers are general purpose IBM PC compatible machines, they can run many different operating systems. However, the device is no longer for sale and FrontPath has ceased operations. It is important to note that many touch screen sub-notebook computers can run any of several Linux distributions with little customization.

X.org now supports screen rotation and tablet input through Wacom drivers, and handwriting recognition software from both the Qt-based Qtopia and GTK+-based Internet Tablet OS provide promising free and open source systems for future development.

Open source note taking software in Linux includes applications such as Xournal (which supports PDF file annotation), Gournal (a Gnome based note taking application), and the Java-based Jarnal (which supports handwriting recognition as a built-in function). Before the advent of the aforementioned software, many users had to rely on on-screen keyboards and alternative text input methods like Dasher. There is a stand alone handwriting recognition program available, CellWriter, which requires users to write letters separately in a grid.

A number of Linux based OS projects are dedicated to tablet PCs. Since all these are open source, they are freely available and can be run or ported to devices that conform to the tablet PC design. Maemo (rebranded MeeGo in 2010), a Debian Linux based graphical user environment, was developed for the Nokia Internet Tablet devices (770, N800, N810 & N900). It is currently in generation 5, and has a vast array of applications available in both official and user supported repositories. The Ubuntu Netbook Remix edition, as well as the Intel sponsored Moblin project, both have touchscreen support integrated into their user interfaces. TabletKiosk currently offers a hybrid digitizer / touch device running openSUSE Linux. It is the first device with this feature to support Linux.

Berkenalan Dengan VPN

VPN (Virtual Private Network) adalah fasilitas yang memungkinkan koneksi jarak jauh (remote access) menggunakan jaringan internet untuk akses ke LAN di kantornya.

Sebelum fasilitas VPN diciptakan, akses ke LAN dari jauh dilakukan dengan menggunakan fasilitas remote access dial-up. Dengan fasilitas ini, pada LAN yang akan diakses sudah harus disediakan remote access server yang dapat dikoneksi dengan modem lewat jaringan telepon biasa langsung dari laptop atau computer pemakai. Demikian pula pada laptop / computer pemakai tersebut harus diinstalasikan software remote access client.

Koneksi dial-up dari modem pada laptop pemakai ini akan langsung ke modem pada remote access server . sehingga penggunaan fasilitas remote access dial-up ini menjadi sangat mahal biayanya jika koneksi dilakukan dari luar negeri karena harus membayar biaya telepon interlokoal.

VPN menggunakan jaringan internet sehingga koneksi dengan failitas VPN dapat dilakukan dengan dial-up ke local ISP di mana pemakai sedang berada sehingga biaya telepon adalah biaya telepon local yang murah. Sejumlah ISP seperti compuserve dan AOL menyediakan nomor-nomor telepon lokal diseluruh dunia. Jadi dimana pun anda berada, anda dapat mengadakan koneksi dial-up dengan menekan nomor telepon local saja.

Penggunaan VPN menjadi sangat popular saat ini karena VPN memberikan jaminan keamanan dan reabilitas yang hamper sama dengan jaringan pribadi. VPN sangat mudah digunakan. Dengan menginstalasikan VPN client software pada computer / laptop pemakai, maka pemakai dapat akses ke LAN dengan fasilitas VPN lewat Jaringan Internet.

Koneksi Dial-up ke local ISP yang sangat murah biayanya menjadi factor utama mengapa VPN menjadi sangat popular.

Peralatan Cisco VPN yang digunakan untuk kantro cabang umumnya berupa Cisco PIX Firewall yang mendukung fasilitas VPN.

Setelah jalur VPN terbina antar kantor maka pemakai computer yang berada dalam LAN kantor cabang dapat mengakses data yang berada pada LAN kantor pusat. Hanya tentu kecepatan akses terbatas dengan bandwith jalur VPN yang digunakan.

Yang perlu anda perhatikan adalah konfigurasi jaringan pada computer dikantor cabang harus menggunakan default gateway berupa IP address dalam (inside) Cisco PIX Firewall kantor cabang.

Remote Acces VPN

Tipe VPN ini memungkinkan koneksi dari jauh (remote access) bagi pegawai yang sedang bertugas diluar kota / diluar negeri tapi tidak untuk pegawai yang sedang ada diluar dunia ini hehehehe. Untuk dapat mengakses Ke LAN dikantor pusat menggunakan jaringan internet. Hal ini terutama sangat berguna untuk dapat menerima email yang tersedia di LAN kantor pusat.

Di kantor pusat ditempatkan peralatan cisco VPN server atau Gateway dan pada computer pemakai diinstalasikan software “Cisco system VPN client”. dan biasanya software ini gratis apabila anda membeli Cisco PIX Firewall yang mendukung fasilitas VPN.

To understand how a server works, it helps to understand what it is, since the name itself can refer to any number of devices and applications. A server can be a computer or a software application, depending on how it'll be used. Yes, in this post I’ll show how dual booting looks like and step by step effort to make computer with single windows xp into dual booting with linux OS.
1. Burn linux cd, in this case I use Ubuntu desktop 8.04
2. Reboot computer and make sure CD-ROM boot in first priority.
3. Make partition first for new operating system. (optional)
4. Installation started, some screenshots :

Choose Language, this step is important if you want to see another screen with your mother language pick the right one.

Just point your mouse on the map and automatically your timezone adjusted.

Keyboard layout, choose right keyboard layout and test it.

Most important step, make sure you have 2 partition:
1. /, native . All things install in this partition.
2. Swap, virtual memory, normally the size is twice of your physical memory.

Fill information about you

installation progress started, will take a while, go get some food and coke to drink

Click on ‘Restart Now’ button to restart your computer.

Make sure eject your CD-ROM or change bios to boot hard drive as first priority.

At booting section, you’ll see options: just pay attention to :

Highlight your preferred OS to boot and you’ll see.

Proxy jangan di campur dengan data lain. bila di campur efeknya Proxy Kurang maxsimal karena terlalu Ribet dan tidak Leluasa.
klik Setting

pastikan Drive E: kosong dan bebas Virus. klik Move Folder kemudian pilih Drive E: kemudian buat Folder di Drive E

Semaleman Googling Ternyata SNR Margin(Signal-to-Noise Margin) & Line Attenuation Sangat Berpengaruh terhadap kelancaran koneksi. Kenapa bisa begitu ?

2 Faktor berikut :
1. Modulation Pada modem tidak sesuai atau settingan modul tidak tepat sasaran yang harusnya dengan modul bernama (ADSL_G.dmt)
2. Kabel line telepon dirumah anda kurang bagus. Kabel Line yang kurang bagus akan terdapat suara bising, bunyi kresek-kresek Solusinya :
- Pada Faktor 1 rubah settingan Modulation pada modem ADSL yang sangat berpengaruh pada SNR Margin, cari dan pilih modulation yang G.lite modulation G.lite pasti sudah terdapat di beberapa modem
jika sudah memilih modulation G.lite lalu restart modem tunggu beberapa detik/menit hingga modem up atau showtime. jika sudah up modemnya lihat status ADSL SNR Margin anda tambah besar atau sebaliknya
apabila SNR Margin semakin besar maka akan semakin baik koneksi anda dan sebaliknya jika SNR Margin anda semakin kecil maka koneksi anda akan lambat hal ini yang menyebabkan Koneksi speedy anda lambat (begitulah bunyinya)
- Pada Faktor 2 Kabel Line yang rusak/jelek sangat berpengaruh pada Line Attenuation. Angkat gagang Pesawat telepon anda apakah ada suara bising , atau kresek-kresek dengan menekan angka 1-9. Apabila memang
terdapat suara bising atau kresek-kresek cek kabel line telepon anda urut dari ujung ke ujung kabel jika terdapat kulit kabel line yang mengelupas potong lalu rapihkan kembali untuk menghindari induksi.
Periksa Kotak kabel line / terminal line telepon jika memang terdapat terminal yang rusak atau sudah karatan lebih baiknya di ganti dengan yang baru, Paralel telepon harus dilakukan setelah splitter, jika tidak maka setiap ada telepon masuk koneksi
speedynya langsung putus.
