With mobile becoming an important communication and sales channel, we're excited to integrate even more mobile tools into Analytics this month. Download the new Analytics App to view your Analytics account on your mobile phone. We hope you discover even more ways to use these new reports and features to improve your business.

What's New

Measure your mobile application with Analytics
Mobile App Analytics provides end-to-end measurement of the entire customer journey within a mobile application. It enables mobile developers and marketers to create more successful apps and user experiences by measuring metrics at all stages: from acquisition metrics such as new/active user; engagement metrics such as visitor flow, loyalty, and app crashes; and outcome metrics such as goal conversions and in-app purchases. We're slowly rolling out this feature, and it will be available to all by the end of summer. Learn more

The Intelligence Alerts Widget makes it easier to spot unexpected changes on your website
Your automatic and custom alerts are now in your dashboard! No need to click on the Intelligence tab or check your email to see alerts. In your dashboard, you can see a timeline graph of the number of automatic/custom alerts. If you are curious for more details or there is spike in the number of alerts, click on the widget, and it will lead you to the appropriate reports.

Browser size analysis: find out what your visitors actually see
What is actually "above the fold" on a webpage is a significant factor in conversion rates, so we've created a visualization that lets you quickly determine which portions of your page are visible to which percentages of visitors. Find it in your Analytics account in the Content section under In-Page Analytics.

This past weekend West Trek tours sponsored the Karaoke weekend with a Backpackers Ball giving away five trips and loads of other prizes!

People sang, danced, and even did a scavenger hunt in order to win one of the fantastic trips offered by West Trek.

Thank you to West Trek and Jeremy who hosted the event as well as all of you of coming out for this awesome weekend.

Our Martini Mondays are ever-growing in popularity with much thanks to the very talented Andy Sills. His laid-back style and entertaining commentary keeps guests entertained all night, and even have them coming back week after week.

Hostel guests and locals alike are loving this classy candle-lit night. One hostel guest, Liz was thrilled she was able to wear gown that she packed on the "one off chance" she may get to wear it on her holidays. Guys even made make-shift dress ties with toilet paper in order to "class" up their outfits!!

Some come down to the Storm Cellar and check-out out special Monday Night Martinis featuring Andy Sills!!

Firstly, we've been slacking on the updating front, but have no fear, we're ready to post full throttle again!

What's been happening at The Storm Cellar - In Banff's only hostel with an onsite pub - lately:

Last Saturday, West Trek Tours in Association with The Storm Cellar came out to bring "Karaoke Saturday - Go West!". West Trek came with 4 trips to give again (giveaways totaling at $2200!!!). With loads of participation from Banff, we had an extremely successful Karaoke night with tons of contests and giveaways! It was awesome and we'd like to thank West Trek for coming out and joining us, at The Storm Cellar!

Jam Nights at The Storm Cellar have been going extremely well too! We've had some awesome bands come through, 2 in particular: Zeutroy and The Legoman Band (Formerly known as Almond Amaretto)... playing popular crowd pleasing sets! Check them out on YouTube!

Hi All,

Well Well Well we are nearly there, for some of us the time has come to start saving and moving on and like most of us it will be April or May we will depart from the beautiful town of Banff.

So, before we all have to hibernate for the next few weeks and save all of our $$$$$ and keep them away from the bars

The Storm Cellar are having a Banff Staff Party on Sunday 9th March

What will we be getting up to well..................................

Bow Valley Bands Competition

Its getting harder and harder to judge the best of the best bands / musicians in Banff. Wednesday's Jam Night had so much to offer. From the talented Andy Sills to The Baby Seals the Storm Cellar was rocking it out all night long.

Andy Sills has now secured a gig for himself on Sunday 24th February. Andy has just finished his CD and has just been dieing to show off his new set, here at the Storm Cellar we are giving him the chance to shine.

The competition will still be running for the next few weeks for that 8 track recording and a paying gig so come on down, Jam it up on the Wednesday and see for yourself why the Storm Cellar, HI Banff Alpine Centre is the best way to get your name out there.
