The Wilson K Three FX is a new racquet featuring K Factor FX Quad Shaft technology which hollows out the shaft of the frame, making the the K Three FX more stable than the previous generation K Three. The K Three FX maintains nearly identical specifications to the previous-generation K Three, without upsetting the superior balance of power and control provided by Wilson's K Factor technology. A solid choice for a player looking for stability, power and an oversized sweetspot.The K Three FX retains the use of Triad technology to provide additional vibration dampening and arm comfort. Offering the second-largest headsize in the K Factor line at 115 square inches, the K Three FX delivers a surprising balance of power and control thanks to Wilson K Factor technology. A solid choice for a player looking for more power, an oversized sweetspot and a damped, comfortable feel.

[K]arophite Black-an evolution of Wilson nCode technology which utilizes a new structure incorporating additional bonds between the SiO2 and graphite molecules on a nanoscopic scale, resulting in more feel and a stronger, more stable racquet.

[K]onnector-2 external wings molded into each side of the hoop to increase dwell time of the ball upon impact, providing greater control and comfort.

A 100% graphite racket combining AEROGEL and new 4D BRAIDED technology. The Aerogel 4D 2HUNDRED is designed for tournament/advanced players with a long powerful swing who require exceptional touch and feel. 4D BRAIDED technology has been added at strategic locations which improves the stability of the racket and greatly enhances touch/feel making this the ultimate control orientated racket. Ideally suited for players with aggressive, long strokes. Recommended for the 4.5-6.0 NTRP level players. 4D BRAIDED technology: Dunlop has further enhanced its Aerogel technology by taking it to the next dimension with 4D braiding. Four directional braided material is used at key points on the racket frame to significantly increase racket stability. - at 5 and 7 o'clock to minimize frame torsion and increase control - at 3 and 9 o'clock for increased stability and enhanced touch and feel. 4D braiding has been implemented across the whole Dunlop Aerogel portfolio, offering outstanding benefits to players of all abilities.

New for 2006, the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick is a slightly heavier update to the legendary Babolat Pure Drive Team. Meant to more closely replicate the weight of Andy's racquet, the Pure Drive Roddick provides a little more stiffness and power, provided you are able to handle the additional weight. Still categorized as a tweener (between powerful/controlled), the Pure Drive Roddick should retain its appeal to a wide array of players. Works well at the net (though not quite as maneuverable), as well as the baseline. Babolat also makes use of a new vibration dampening material called Cortex placed at the top of the handle and acts as an active dampener, without sacrificing feel.

The Yonex RDiS 100 Midsize, used by Lleyton Hewitt, is the next generation of the RDS 001 players frame, utilizing Yonex's Impact Speed technology for enhanced frame response. The "iS" in RDiS stands for Impact Speed-a snap-back action which stores energy on impact, then releases it with tremendous power and speed. Yonex also utilizes a new graphite construction known as Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube in its RDiS racquets which helps the frame flex, yet provide quick repulsion for power and a solid feel.

The RDiS 100 in the 93 square inch head is for the advanced player looking for the ultimate in control in a player-oriented package. Specifications remain very similar to the previous-generation RDS 001, still providing control and predictability, with a very traditional feel. Maintains the feel of a larger sweetspot than its 93 square inch headsize would suggest, feeling solid yet forgiving. Denser 16x20 string pattern for added control.

A more economical addition to Babolat's game-improvement category, the NS Drive OS utilizes new Nano Strength material technology, and combines it with the comfort of Smart Grip, all in an economical package.

Offering a generous sweetspot and lightweight feel, the NS Drive OS offers excellent maneuverability without sacrificing stability or comfort.

Babolat Nano Strength technology stiffens the carbon fibers for added power and resistance to torsion. Placement of these fibers in the yoke area translates to more power and more stability.

A new concept from Babolat is the ergonomic, "hourglass-shaped" Smart Grip. The shape of the handle is refined to optimize contact between your hand and the grip, allowing for a more secure grip and improved maneuverability.

The 109 square inch headsize, 24/22mm wide beam, sub-10 ounce weight, and 27.2 inch length adds up to power, Babolat-style.

But I have to think they are hard to see - wouldn't you lose them as they're in flight against the windscreens, etc.?

The Wilson Portable Ball Machine combines state of the art portability with the performance you expect from Wilson. This model includes a remote control with two line ball feed capability. The 2-line feature automatically shoots one ball to the forehand court and then one ball to the backhand court. This allows two players to play with the machine at the same time, or allows a single player to practice alternating forehand and backhand shots. The keychain-sized remote unit starts and stops the ball throws, and also starts and stops the oscillator to position ball throws anywhere across the court.

Baiardo automatically adjusts height and tilt 3 times during the stringing process (mounting, mains, crosses) putting the string bed in a biomechanically perfect position. Stringers experience less stress on to lower back, shoulders, neck, arms, etc.

"Outstanding piece of equipment! It looks like Wilson spent extra time to look at every aspect of the stringing process when making this machine," said George Wrigley of Wrigley's Tennis in Punta Gorda, FL.

Lance Holm of Player's Racquet Shop East in Portland Oregon says, "One of the best features of our new Baiardo is that it offers the ability to customize the position for each of the stringers in our shop." The names below are dealers across the country who are already enjoying the benefits of the Baiardo stringing machine.

Boulder, Colorado -- Babolat announces that the company has extended its partnership with The John Newcombe Tennis Ranch. Since 2002, Babolat has been an exclusive partner for tennis racquets and strings and sponsor of the John Newcombe Tennis Academy and adult tennis programs. With the new agreement, Babolat will continue to be a marquee partner for another three years.

Located in New Braunfels, Texas, the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch has been offering world-class tennis programs for 40 years. The John Newcombe Tennis Academy began in 1980 and offers a unique training environment for top kids from the US and around the world. It was recently selected as a USTA training center, recognizing it as top facility in the country. Team Babolat standouts, Ryan and Christian Harrison, trained at the Academy for four and a half years.

Susan DiBiase, Marketing Director for Babolat USA, says, "This is such a natural partnership between two legendary tennis entities: Babolat with its long of history of bringing innovation to the game and John Newcombe with his long list of contributions both as a player and through the success of his Tennis Ranch. Newk is so passionate about tennis and the growth of the sport. He wants everyone who comes to his Ranch to have a great experience above all, but to also develop their tennis skills to the best of their ability."

John Newcombe adds, "What's nice about this partnership is that Babolat shares our outlook and philosophy. They are family oriented like we are and true professionals. Babolat is a leader in the tennis industry and its products are of the highest quality and performance, which fits in with our vision for what we want to offer through our programs."

The Wilson [K] Pro Tour tennis racquet is made using [k]arophite black technology, a proprietary next-generation structure that results in better feel and a stronger, more stable performance. As a result, it's easier than ever for players to shape their shots and hit the corners with accuracy. And control is a crucial tool, as players who had the fewest unforced errors have won a combined 74 percent of the most recent Grand Slam tournaments. As a whole, the [K] Pro Tour is ideal for the next generation of aggressive baseliners who like to take full, powerful swings at the ball.

The [K] Pro Tour also boasts Wilson's [K]onnector-2 external wings, which are molded into each side of the hoop to increase the dwell time of the ball upon impact. This further improves your control on the court. Other details include extra weight compared to other [K] line racquets, enhanced stability, and a slightly smaller headsize, producing greater precision overall.

Specifications:

    * Head size: 96 square inches
* Length: 27 inches
* Weight: 11.6 ounces (strung)
The Head Liquidmetal 8 is the most powerful offering in the Head Liquidmetal line, with a very forgiving sweetspot and significantly lighter weight. More forgiving than any of the other Liquidmetal racquets, the Liquidmetal 8 is geared toward a beginning to intermediate level player with a slow to moderate swing who requires a larger sweetspot. Open string pattern further enhances spin and size of the sweetspot. NoShox handle reduces vibrations by 27% without dampening feel.

The MicroGel 12 is a light, powerful racquet for the beginner to intermediate player with a short stroke game. It also is quite head heavy so it has good weight behind your swing. It has a humongous sweet spot and excellent control for a racquet with this power.

The MicroGel material is infused through the hoop. This distributes shock around the frame, eliminating vibration and making this a very comfortable racquet to play with.

MicroGEL Technology: MicroGEL is a revolutionary silicone based material with the lowest density of any solid known on the planet. This incredible "Super Material" weighs only about 3mg per cubic centimeter, but is able to support up to 4,000 times it's own weight. HEAD has combined MicroGEL with stiff and strong carbon composite fibers to create a racquet with incredible responsive qualities. On ball impact, HEAD MicroGEL uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame circumference providing a rock solid feel and unique touch that has to be experienced to be believed.
