Many road accidents involve motorcycles and many have also lost their lives due to these unfortunate incidents. Most deaths from road accidents that I have seen in reports are usually caused by driving while on the influence of alcohol, not wearing helmets or if wearing one, it is not durable, one that can withstand great impacts.

Since the number of death has dramatically increased, the local government units have implemented strict policies on wearing helmets especially for motorcycle drivers and their passengers. Since then, many helmets like shoei helmets went off the racks so fast. I guess motorists have already learned the lesson that safety should always come first.

PURSUING A SECOND DEGREE

By now I have blogged a lot of times about pursuing my second degree. It’s not that I am not happy with the degree I have finished a few years ago, but I guess there would be more opportunities if I pursued this particular course I am doing right now.
Some people are actually tired of studying, so they can’t see themselves going back to school again after having finished a degree. Sure, I feel tired too, but I think long term so that keeps me going.

No, I am not pursuing an engineering degree as of the moment. I am not that techie so I can’t imagine myself having to work with machines, equipment and hydraulic cartridge! But I do admire engineers and their skills in those things. I just wish I am like them!

When travelling, it’s always great to have a pair of sunglasses handy. They aregreat at protecting your eyes from the glaring sun. The scorching heat could cause so much headache, one of the reasons why travellers do not enjoy their escapades that much.
Since I went back to university for another course I have not gone to trips abroad anymore but that can wait. I hope I could get a pair of those Tom Ford Sunglasses on my next trip. As to where that trip would be, I still don’t know. Meantime, I guess it’s wise to save up for it, right?

Summer would be here before we know it. For now the swimsuits have to be kept as sweaters and jackets are in for the cold weather. But who does not love summer? For girls who are so dying to wear their swimsuits, these tips should be helpful in shaving your legs.

First of all, shaving is considered to be an art or a skill. Not everyone can do it properly.

Here are some helpful tips:

1. Invest in a good razor. Good quality razors may be a little bit more expensive but they sure are worth it. It is better to buy them rather than those cheap ones which can only be used at least twice.

2. Get a good shaving gel or cream. If you are not careful, you could end up having cuts which could even lead to infections. If you don’t have one, shampoo and conditioner would serve the purpose just as well.

It’s rainy season once again. But I guess the idiom “saving up for the rainy days” does not apply to literal rain. Rain or shine, it would always be best to save up.
If you live in the city like me, it would be hard to say “no” to some little expenses here and there that would keep you from saving money. Sharing with you some tips which I myself am learning to follow every day:
1. Define “needs” and “wants”. A car may be a need for most people nowadays. But what kind of car? Some would opt for the latest model and the most expensive one. What for? Ok, you have solved the “need” part but why does it have to be that expensive? This is where the “wants” come in.
2. Avoid having those purchases on things that you just find “cute” but you never really use. I have lots of those. Cute cellphone pouches. Just how many cellphone pouches do I have? How many do I really need? Sandals. How many pairs do I really need? Same thing goes for little hair clips, cute little baskets that would just be left unused in the corner of our closets at the end of the day.
I am not an expert in saving up yet, and I am sure it would take lots of discipline to do so. But the thought of saving up for the rainy days inspire me to go on—because in life, “rainy days” can come anytime—especially when we least expect them!

I guess it’s every girl’s dream to have long eyelashes. Somehow those really add to one’s beauty, the reason why fake eyelashes are created. Of course wearing those long, fake eyelashes is not so comfortable, I believe. For one you have to take time to let them stick on your original eyelashes. You are not even sure how long they would stick there—so in the end you would always wish you had long eyelashes, and real ones.

I would not be surprised to find eyelash growth products to be a hit. For sure people who wish they had longer eyelashes would be so thrilled about this good news!

This is a very unforgettable verse for me simply because this was the verse I taught to a small group of campers during our Youth Evangelistic Camp held a two weeks ago. Indeed, we, especially the young people, should not let anybody look down on us just because we are still young. Let us prove to them that WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE (by God's grace) regardless of our age. So let us all guard our speech, our dealings in life, in love to our family, friends and to GOD, and in purity.

Soccer has always been the world’s favorite sport. I say this while the Philippine national soccer team Azkals are making a name in the field of football. And this year marks the Philippines’ first victory ever in FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Never mind the World Cup 2014, Philippines is still in its heights in football after beating Sri Lanka, making every Filipinos’ hearts ablaze in hope of a bright future in soccer, inspiring young Filipinos to continue this trail for years to come.

I have tried playing this game and learned first-hand that it is not as easy as it looks. No other game could be as exhausting, I did not finish the first half. It’s quite exhilarating, to say the least, that many countries like to claim soccer as their national sport. Philippines has embraced it as a favourite sport only recently but the number of avid followers like me is already growing fast. In some countries like Spain and Brazil, the people are so passionate about this sport that even little kids can do amazing foot works. Many will have a future in at least some facet of the game.

The least popular football game, Rugby, is also played like soccer. I still would like to see a live Rugby game played in our city although I’ve seen it played live on television using my discount voucher.
