Noah’s Italian
Noah’s Italian is now open at 43 Phila Street, bringing a refined Italian-American dining experience to downtown Saratoga Springs. The restaurant offers two levels of dining in a polished yet inviting space, anchored by a 27-seat bar and seating for approximately 70 to 75 guests on each floor.
The first floor serves as the main dining room, while the second floor will soon debut an intimate Chef’s Table experience featuring live music and a direct view into the kitchen.
The restaurant is the culmination of years of passion and dedication from Chef Noah Frese, whose love for Italian-American cuisine began in his childhood kitchen. Inspired by tradition, family, and the power of food to bring people together, Chef Noah blends classic Italian flavors with a modern, elevated approach.
The menu reflects that philosophy with handcrafted dishes designed to feel both familiar and special. Entrées range from elevated comfort dishes like K.D.’s Chicken Parm and brick chicken scarpariello to seafood-forward plates such as scallop saltimbocca and Chilean sea bass.
Elody Restaurant
Elody Restaurant will open on Friday, January 2, 2026, bringing a fresh dining destination to 54 Phila Street in downtown Saratoga Springs. Formerly known as 13 North, the family-owned restaurant begins an exciting new chapter with a new name and location, while staying true to its roots of scratch-made American comfort food and Italian-inspired dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
The menu showcases hand-cut steaks, house-made sauces, and a variety of sharables and entrées designed to feel both familiar and elevated. Guests can enjoy classics like French onion soup and Caesar salads, along with seafood favorites, filet mignon, ribeye, chicken marsala, shrimp and lobster fra diavolo, and comforting plates such as buttermilk fried chicken and roasted turkey dinners. Vegan options round out the menu, making Elody an inviting choice for groups with varied tastes.
Elody offers a polished yet approachable atmosphere that works just as well for celebratory dinners as it does for relaxed nights out. Fillies on Phila

Pint Sized has reopened at 33 Phila Street with a refreshed look that keeps the cozy, familiar feel longtime regulars appreciate. The updated space continues to focus on what it does best: creating an easygoing spot to grab a drink, discover something new, or catch up with friends downtown.
The bar offers an impressive and constantly rotating selection of more than 50 craft beers available on tap and in cans, with a strong mix of local favorites and sought-after releases. For those who prefer the classics, DIVE also keeps a budget-friendly lineup of familiar macro brews like Narragansett, Miller, Coors, and Corona.
Beyond beer, the drink menu covers a wide range of options, including canned cocktails from brands like High Noon, Cutwater, and Surfside, a variety of shots featuring whiskey, tequila, Fernet, and flavored spirits, and a lineup of hard cider, seltzer, kombucha, ginger beer, and even magic seltzers. Guests will also find a small selection of canned wines and plenty of non-alcoholic options, making it an inclusive stop for any group.
Bibulous Saratoga
Located at 35 Henry Street, at the intersection of Henry and Phila Streets and within the same building as the upcoming Elody Restaurant, Bibulous Saratoga adds a distinctive late-day and evening option to downtown’s growing food and drink scene.
Bibulous is a bar built around the idea that a night out does not always need to center on a full meal. Inspired by their own evenings in Saratoga Springs, owners Daniel and Jen Chessare created a space for guests who want to enjoy a thoughtfully crafted drink, a few small bites, or a dessert without committing to traditional dinner service.
The drink menu focuses on signature cocktails and mocktails, alongside a curated selection of craft beer and house red and white wine specials.
Food offerings lean into small plates and shareable bites, including pâté plates, cheese boards, and olives, making Bibulous a natural stop before dinner, between plans, or as a relaxed late-night destination. Desserts play a starring role as well, with seasonally rotating sweets crafted by co-owner Jen Chessare, giving guests a reason to linger or return.

Saratoga Arts Reopens After Major Renovation
After a year-long closure and a $2 million renovation, Saratoga Arts is reopening its doors with a free, two-day celebration in Saratoga Springs. The arts center at 320 Broadway will welcome the public back on January 9 and 10 with music, art, workshops, tours, and special events.
The reopening weekend kicks off Friday at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting, followed by a cocktail party from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring music by the Curley Lamb Nu-Soul-Jaz Trio. Festivities continue Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an open house, drop-in workshops, and guided tours of the updated building. The weekend wraps up with a gallery reception from 5 to 7 p.m. for the High School All-Stars Exhibition, open to artists, families, and the public.
Visitors will notice major changes throughout the building, starting with the gallery. A new vaulted ceiling, additional windows, and upgraded lighting create a brighter and more open space designed to better showcase exhibitions. The Dee Sarno Theater has also been upgraded with new lighting, sound equipment, mechanical systems, and improved climate control.
Another key update is a new door providing direct access to Congress Park, making it easier and safer for visitors and summer camp participants to enjoy the park. The building also now features Wi-Fi throughout, along with improved classrooms and shared spaces.
With renovations complete, Saratoga Arts is ready to resume regular programming and welcome the community back into a more comfortable and inviting arts hub.
Saratoga Builders Association Donates $66,000 After 2025 Showcase of Homes
The Saratoga Builders Association has announced a $66,000 donation to two local housing nonprofits following this year’s Saratoga Showcase of Homes. The funds were presented to Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties.
This annual fall tour featured 12 homes from 10 local builders across Saratoga County. The event once again drew more than 3,000 visitors who came out over two weekends to see the latest in home design and craftsmanship.
The organization also announced its People’s Choice Award winners. Abele Homes earned Classic Home, DeGraff-Bloom Custom Builders received Executive Home, Urvalek Builders won Luxury Home, and Witt Construction took home Estate Home.
The Showcase of Homes has been a long-running tradition in the region. Over 29 years, the event has contributed nearly $1.7 million to local charities that support safe and affordable housing.
Organizers extended thanks to the more than 75 sponsors and all of the community members who purchased tickets.
Standard Fare Brings Elevated Comfort Food to Downtown Saratoga
The owners of Bocage Champagne Bar are getting ready to unveil their next big project—and Saratoga food lovers are going to want to make a reservation!
Zac Denham and Clark Gale, the duo behind the stylish and wildly popular Bocage, have announced the grand opening of Standard Fare, their first full-service restaurant, located just across the street at 21 Phila Street. Reservations go live on August 1, with the official opening set for August 15.
Described as a “fresh take on comfort food,” Standard Fare will offer a warm, lively atmosphere with a menu that balances nostalgia with creativity. Think Mom’s Meatloaf with tomato relish, Swedish meatballs with lingonberry and shroom au poivre, and zucchini lasagna for a vegan and gluten-free twist.
Dessert lovers will want to save room - there are towering pies, cakes, and “ridiculous” milkshakes that are already getting buzz.
The 40-seat restaurant will be open daily with late night hours - until midnight on weeknights and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Perfect for night owls and those out on the town in Saratoga!
Gaffney’s Building Sold and Set for a Comeback on Caroline Street
One of downtown Saratoga Springs’ most recognizable properties has officially changed hands. The historic Gaffney’s building on Caroline Street sold for $3.5 million, marking a major step forward for the long-standing local landmark.
The transaction was handled by Dan Roohan of Roohan Realty, who represented both the buyer and seller. The property was purchased by an LLC controlled by Scott and Kristine Grodsky, bringing new ownership to a space that has played a central role in the city’s nightlife and social scene for decades.
Under the new owners, work is already underway. Repairs and improvements have begun to bring the building up to code, with a focus on preparing the property for residential tenants and future use.
Gaffney’s is expected to reopen this spring, giving locals and visitors something to look forward to as warmer weather returns. After a period marked by foreclosure and mounting bills, the sale brings resolution and momentum back to the corner of Caroline Street.
For generations, Gaffney’s has been a must-stop destination for Saratogians, trackgoers, and first-time visitors alike. As plans move ahead and progress continues, longtime patrons and newcomers may soon see the lights back on and the patio active once again, signaling a fresh chapter for one of Saratoga Springs’ most iconic addresses.
Saratoga Snow Day Brings Winter Fun to Downtown
Saratoga Springs is celebrating winter in a new way this year - the Saratoga Snow Day officially debuts on Saturday, January 17, with a kick-off the night before with a Flannel Friday at the Night Owl. Come in flannel!
The new event includes a Snowman Scavenger Hunt, a Fire & Ice Trail, and a free movie screening at the Saratoga Springs City Center at 11am.
Participants in the Snowman Scavenger Hunt can visit local businesses seeking out festive snowmen. Local restaurants will take part on the Fire & Ice Trail, offering food and drink specials with a winter theme.
As of this writing, participating business include Bailey Cafe, the Bourbon Room, Cantina, Druthers Brewing, Hattie's Restaurant, Henry Street Taproom, the Mercantile, Kindred, Lucy's Bar, Rhea, Scallions, the Thirsty Owl, and Wheatfields.
Saratoga Dessert Bar Opens First Retail Location at Wilton Mall
Saratoga Dessert Bar has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar location inside the food court at Wilton Mall. Known for cheesecakes, cookies, cakes, and other indulgent treats, the business is now serving customers in person after operating online only.
Owner Darren De Vietro had been searching for a storefront for some time and saw opportunity as the mall prepared for new ownership. After meeting with the new team and hearing their vision for the property, he felt the timing and location made sense for the brand’s next step.
While desserts remain the main focus, the menu has expanded to meet the needs of mall employees and shoppers. Guests can now find all-day breakfast options, grilled cheese, and scratch-made tomato soup alongside custom ice cream sandwiches and baked goods.
The business recently joined the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga Downtown Business Association. De Vietro views the Wilton Mall location as one phase of a longer journey, with hopes of eventually opening a craft cocktails and desserts spot in downtown Saratoga Springs.

Bear's Cup Bakehouse Opens Its Doors on Broadway
Bear's Cup Bakehouse has opened a new location at 543 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, bringing its small batch bakery and coffeehouse to the heart of downtown. The shop is now welcoming customers as the team settles in and fine tunes daily operations.
The Saratoga Springs location is currently open from 8am to 2pm on December 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st. These limited hours give the bakery time to find its rhythm before announcing a regular schedule after the weekend.
Fans of the Bolton Landing shop will recognize the menu right away. The Saratoga location offers the same freshly baked kettle boiled bagels, scratch made pastries, and specialty coffee drinks made fresh each day.
Bear's Cup Bakehouse is known for its New York style bagels, daily baked breads, pastries, and a cozy coffeehouse atmosphere. The menu also includes sandwiches and thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks that pair well with both sweet and savory options.
One key difference sets the Saratoga Springs shop apart from its Bolton Landing counterpart. The Broadway location will be open year round, making it a new go to spot for locals and visitors looking for fresh baked goods in every season!
