      <title>Facebook's new initiative on Messenger</title>
      <description>Social network Facebook today said it had entered into partnerships with various mobile telephony companies around the world to allow users in as many as 14 countries to send Facebook messages with little or no impact on their cellular data plans.

Through this promotion, free or discounted data access will be available in the coming months on Messenger for Android, Messenger for iOS &amp; Facebook for every Phone, which is now optimized for chat.&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
