Dealing With Change

What’s the only thing permanent in this world? Change.

We change. Our ages change every second, minute, hour, day and year. Our bodies grow feeble and weak. Our surrounding changes with us. The wind blows and everything’s affected. Our thoughts change. One minute we’re thinking of something, the next minute it’s another. It is change itself that is permanent so we’ve got to deal with it every day of our lives.

Even the world we live in will someday change. There will be new heaven and new earth. I hope before that comes I will be able to fulfill my childhood dream of country-hopping the whole world with my family. That will be the major change in my life. When that time is feasible, will I start with Orlando vacations? Ahh..Disney!

The financial bubble almost crippled the global economy. Most countries, if not all, have suffered, one way or the other. Spending has been limited. Insurance companies were no longer trusted as the growing number of them can no longer pay their clients the benefits due them. The more the industry sank.

How long will this go on? Certain companies were named to have lacked the capacity to go on. Since then, those who were in good standing remained…but it takes the trust of the people to move forward.

As the consumer, several things we need to consider:

- if you have money for insurance, it is beneficial for you.

- if you are wary, ask friends and people around on their experiences with different companies so you can learn from them.

- if you like to start with the cheapest possible, go ask for term life insurance quotes.

Who decided what “sexy” looked like? Why do people in general love to be sexy?

Being sexy or slim brings benefits that serve the vain and the health-conscious. Staying at the opposite end pulls the person to the unmotivated (to exercise), unhealthy, and fooddict (food addict), which brings these people to consider looking for the top fat burner just to be sexy.

What is your motivation to remove those love handles? Are you motivated at all? What seems to be the problem why you can’t?

Cancelled My Way To The Parlor

I have been thinking of going to the beauty parlor to have a haircut. I have been putting it off for a while till I get the perfect timing but then when I decided I will, that’s the time my kids “played” with my hair.

Played, I meant pretending I’m in a beauty parlor and they were fixing my hair to the style of their liking, combing, braiding and everything within their power just to play with my hair–and I loved it! Not the look afterwards but the playing part. It relaxed me, made me sleepy. Ahh…

I decided to cancel cutting my hair short instead…and I don’t need hair loss treatments as of yet. I’ll enjoy my kids’ parlor play while I can.

Caring For Your Eyes

The skin around the eyes are very sensitive, as opposed to the other skin parts of your body. Tugging, warping, pulling the skin around your eyes will only make your look worse.

When removing makeup, be gentle. When applying eye cream, use your ring finger because it is the weakest. (What do you think is the best eye cream?)

Don’t sleep with your makeup on or you’ll look like a panda in the morning. Cry once in awhile. The shed tears will clean your eyes internally. Don’t read in dim light. It strains your eyes and will ultimately get you glasses which will cover the beauty of your eyes. Apply a cold teabag (much like a cucumber) once in a while.

What do you think is the best technology that emerged in the 20th century? All inventions, one way or the other, benefit the people. But what single technology benefits the most number of people?

I think it’s the internet. Information that’s sent fast, in seconds, is power. It creates more inventions. It makes more sales. It makes more friends. it saves you money looking for acne solutions all within the tip of your fingers instead of going out, spending on gas and tiring yourself to several local shops. The internet creates jobs too…without leaving your place. l like that. I love that!

Kitchen Saving Tip

So much is wasted in the kitchen station if you you are not aware of it in the first place. We usually cook more than what is enough for us so everybody gets satisfied and filled. Sometimes, though, people are hungrier or less hungry than usual so it’s either the cooked food is less or too much, if not enough.

It’s easy when you have a refrigerator. Stuffing leftovers in the fridge seems to solve the problem. Sometimes, it’s not. Food gets cold-dry and more often than not, it’s no longer palatable. That goes to waste. Waste of fridge space, waste of food, waste of time spent to store it…all goes to waste unless the food is eaten. So, to make it palatable, make sure to let the food always fresh.

by the end of March, classes in the Philippines will be over. Come April, it will be time for summer camps and summer outings. It is one of seasons my children look forward to.

My youngest said, “three seasons in a year” I look forward to: the summer (Church) outing which could be late March or early April, the Feast of Tabernacles which falls around September or October and the yearend (Church) outing which always falls around Christmas time (trying to get away from the busy world.

Some of you might want to travel abroad instead, especially for those who are over privileged. Where do you go? Have you thought of Outer Banks vacation rental?
