If you are going to be in Lincoln this summer, consider participating in the Navigator's summer Bible Study! Requires participation in the midwestern laborer's conference in Lawrence, KS February 25-26 (additional cost). If interested please contact the Havensteins at havenstein@fuse.net and tell them why you want to be a part of it. Cost is $15 for supplies and food.

Java Love

Mark your calendars! God's Love, funny skits, discussions on dating, marriage, and singleness, tons of desserts, coffee and a dance to follow! Friday, February 4, 7-11pm @ East Campus Union, cost is $5.

Bible studies

Bible Studies will be at GreekSide and Nav Nite to pick up. If you haven't paid for your studies please try to remember to do that. They are $8 each. Bible study leaders pay for the studies you pick up and plan on having your members pay you personally.

This is an opportunity for you to join over 100 students from around the nation for a summer of plunging deeply into your relationship with God and learning how to impact the world around us for the rest of your life through... one to one discipleship, workshops, daily learning and applying the Bible to our lives, prayer, training in sharing your faith, worship, great speakers, hard work, a team environment, having fun! You will live on the University of North Florida Campus and have employment in the greater Jacksonville tourist and resort areas.

OVERSEAS OPPORTUNITIES

China Venture
Walk out your journey of faith with university students through friendship and language learning interaction. Join a team that will test your strengths, help develop your weaknesses, and bring out the light of Christ in you. Let that light shine when you discuss life philosophies and cultural issues in the midst of various activities with new friends. Other possible opportunities include staying in Chinese homes, camping on the Great Wall, visiting the Forbidden City, sports, shopping, sipping tea, and feasting on local foods.

Together with Navigators staff on university campuses, travel, serve, and run an outreach event to illuminate the gospel. You will have the opportunity to impact students on two major campuses, including one medical campus. You will enjoy the beautiful African landscape on visits to Victoria Falls, among other places.

Ghana
Reflect the love of Christ to young high school and university students in coastal cities. Many of those you will be working with are young in their faith, seeking others to guide them and come alongside to teach them about a life with Christ. The flexibility on this trip allows many of your individual skills to be used in some fashion during your time in Ghana.

This is an opportunity for you to join over 100 students from around the nation for a summer of plunging deeply into your relationship with God and learning how to impact the world around us for the rest of your life through... one to one discipleship, workshops, daily learning and applying the Bible to our lives, prayer, training in sharing your faith, worship, great speakers, hard work, a team environment, having fun! You will live on the University of North Florida Campus and have employment in the greater Jacksonville tourist and resort areas.

Join friends from KU, KSU, and UNL as we head south for Spring Break in San Antonio! We will volunteer in a Habitat for Humanity neighborhood building homes for families, visit the world-famous Riverwalk and other San Antonio sites, and take a trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas! $50 deposit due by February 5 to reserve your spot. EDGE Preview
EDGE Preview is designed for college juniors and seniors as well as young college graduates who are seriously interested in learning more about The Navigators EDGE Corps ministry and learn how to discern God's plan for your future. The midwestern region is taking a coach bus leaving out of Omaha to the conference which is held in Colorado Springs, CO at Navigator's Headquarters. We will be attending the conference January 2-4, 2010. Hurry one Edge Preview is already full, this date is filling up!
