Dear Wheel Fast Bicycle Customers,

At this time we will remain open. I believe bicycles are essential to many people, not just as someone’s main mode of transportation, but essential to our mental and physical health that can counter the downsides of social isolation. I firmly believe in the power of bicycles to pedal the planet forward.

With that said, I have decided to make a few changes in our day to day business.

Monday-Friday 10am-2pm the doors will remain locked. We will have someone in the building for pickups and drop-offs and curbside service. Please call us at 217-483-7807 when you arrive and we will be happy to assist in any way possible.

We are going to offer free curbside pickup and delivery to the Chatham and surrounding areas for all service work and bicycle sales. Give us a call to make an appointment if you need us to come pick up a bike. Most of the pickups and deliveries will be in the afternoon, so please keep that in mind. We will do as many payments over the phone or with Paypal or Venmo as possible.

Monday-Friday 2-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm we will alternate staff and the doors will open to a limited number of customers at a time. We will be at the recommended social distances of 6 feet or more.

We will continue to turn service work around as quickly as possible but at this time there will be no while you wait service.

We can drop ship most any product directly to your home including the entire Specialized Bicycles catalog. This is a great way to continue to support a local business without leaving your home.

We continue to clean and sanitize high touch areas frequently throughout the day, customers in the store will be limited, we will use social distancing, wash hands regularly, use gloves as necessary, and we will have hand sanitizer available at all times for customers and staff.

Bicycle shops have been deemed an essential business under Governor J.B. Pritzker’s Stay at Home Order. This is allowed since bike shops provide a primary form of transportation for many people. The Stay at Home Order also encourages bicycling as one of many healthy outdoor activities to do with your family.

All staff at Wheel Fast Bicycle Company are taking the COVID19 situation very seriously and are following all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the Illinois Department of Public Health.

We continue to clean and sanitize high touch areas frequently throughout the day, customers in the store the store will be limited, we will use social distancing, wash hands regularly, use gloves as necessary, and we will have hand sanitizer available at all times for customers and staff.

Providing you the best service possible in the safest way possible is our goal each and every day. Whether you have a bike that requires a much needed repair or are in need of a new bicycle, we will meet you in the parking lot or in your driveway as needed. In addition, Specialized Bicycles and many of our partnering companies are offering drop shipping directly to your homes for our customers.

Our hours are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM
