I’ve seen a number of comments from people saying I should just ignore the goals anyway and focus on making what I want to make. I like this, but I still think goals are important. I’m going to reduce the number of videos per week. I’m not sure what that number will be but it will definitely be reducey-er. I’m also going to make a goal to not start sentences with “I” so much and to stop using made up words like reducey-er.

Now we have finally reached the end of my film noir trilogy which I didn’t know was going to be a trilogy when I started it. I didn’t even know if it would be more than one video. Turns out most of you really enjoyed it so I have a feeling I’ll be doing more larger story arcs in the future. I may return to film noir, but not the next time. I’m thinking action adventure in the spirit of Indiana Jones. We’ll see. Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy this conclusion.

One in particular is the ’4 videos a week’ goal. This film noir series I’m working on has been very exciting and makes me think I would like to do more story based, bigger projects like this. Up until now I have been sort of valuing quantity as much as quality (quantity being a good reason that I have any audience at all, I believe), but maybe I want quality to start taking over. I’m not sure. As always, I’m just making this up as I go.

Anyway, below is a video for my iPhone channel that I put up today about finishing the script for the third part of the film noir series. Instead of making a video for my main channel I had to work on the script. See, here’s an example of my focus on quality destroying quantity. And there’s no guarantee that it will actually be better quality, but I’d like to think so.
