The new Ek Thongprasert collection is now available to pre-order at M'oda'Operandi until May 21st.
And since we're talking about it...
could someone please tell me how is this name pronounced..? It's such a special name to look at with a great stopping power, but so difficult to actually pronounce it.
So the story goes as this...At first I looked at this whole craziness around this designer suspiciously, didn't you too? It's an odd combination - silicone, zircons..? - and then suddenly.. kaboom! You suddenly understand that this is the whole point. This is the "different". This is the "new". The "eccentric". And from a "strange"creature, it suddenly becomes a "swan". Yes, I admit it, in many cases I need time to fully grasp a new idea/trend! And these necklaces are not only new or different or special...They are just unique in their absolute easiness. Because they are very easy to wear and light! Yes they are so light (silicone you see), you forget you wear a necklace.
Friendly tip: Maybe avoid the designs with layers since it's possible that they won't "fit" well on your neck. The simpler the better, as always.. ;)

You simply can't resist falling in love with Athena's Procopiou creations - period. And especially this season's kaftans are truly exquisite! I say that by experience, since I gave in and bought the Dusk at Majorelle kaftan, which I already consider as one of my favorite statement pieces. Sometimes when you wear one certain thing, don't you feel differently in a good way? More beautiful, more mysterious, more stylish, thinner, taller and I can go on and on... Well that's the feeling I have with this kaftan. Seriously. And it doesn't happen to me very often..This along with the fact that she's from Greece, will make this affair last forever...

It's so interesting how some colors can affect the way a face looks. With certain colors you can turn from a tired and moody to glowing and fresh..and the opposite. Like in this case, this jacket I feel as if it made me look so tired. Its "in between" khaki and beige color combined with the moody weather revealed my darker side.. ;)

The joy of finding something really, really old that looks so "today"..This is what vintage means - at least for me. I can't say that I have many vintage pieces in my wardrobe. I don't really like shopping in vintage shops and that's mainly because I prefer to know the full story behind in order to feel it "vintage". Otherwise I just see an old, incurious item. So these - few - vintage items I own, are what my beloved Grandma left me, and that's why they are so special to me.

One thing that can make Mondays worse is the rainy weather...And I admit it, don't like rain when I must get out of my warm bed, go to the gym and then straight to the office...If I could stay at home, then I don't care about the weather. Rain as much as you like. And today is not actually raining, is just cloudy and miserable which is quite annoying as well. The good thing is that the "cloudy" days are almost over. Summer is so close and this past whole week the temperature was really warm here in Greece, so I guess that I can stop being grumpy. Happy Monday!!! This is me almost forcing myself to shout these two words, in an effort to believe that Monday could actually be "happy". But who am I kidding.. For me these two words cannot be next to each other - period. Every Monday I feel so tired and down, but this particular Monday I feel that the time change has really affected me in a way..This and maybe the fact that I am officially on diet and diet for me means depression since I am a pathological foodie. But if I want to be a bit optimistic the good thing is that we somehow feel a bit closer to summer. Right?
