The Albert has a low stage and the audience is closer to the band on all sides than other venues the tour regularly stops at. Sale Of Teddy M's Eric Clapton Portraits To Aid Crossroads Centre

British Pop Artist Teddy M has created two large scale portraits of Eric Clapton. When sold, a significant portion of the proceeds will benefit Crossroads Centre Antigua. The Clapton portraits, available in two colour ways, "ferrari" and 'blues," are 100x100cm and reverse perspex mounted. The rising pop artist created his first large-scale works in 2011. Teddy M's work attracted global interest and lead to portraits of recognizable personalities, including actress Joan Collins and Olympic medalist Sharron Davies, after it was shown in London alongside images of Kate Moss by noted fashion photographer Albert Watson and a design piece by Coco Chanel.

Eric Clapton's 50 Years Further On Up The Road Tour stopped at the Manchester Arena on 14 May. Peter Kay - yes, Peter Kay - joined the band for the first encore number, "Sunshine Of Your Love". But first, EC started the encore off with a little "double shovel" (check out the video, below). Eric also refreshed the set list at this show, reordering some songs, dropping "Wonderful Tonight" and introducing "Goodnight Irene," "Tears In Heaven," and "Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out" for the first time on this leg of the tour. No fan reviews, yet. It must have been quite a night in Manchester!

Eric Clapton's 2013 Tour stopped at Birmingham's LG Arena on Monday, 13 May. The set list was tweaked a bit from the two previous concerts in Dublin and Belfast, with "I Shot The Sheriff" making its first appearance on the second leg of the tour. "What an amazing night," according to Matt S. "I have seen Eric countless times but last night his solos were out of this world. You knew he was in the mood as soon as he plugged in his grigio grey strat! I loved "Hello Old Friend" - such a great starter to the night."

Less than a month after his wildly successful Crossroads Guitar Festival, Eric Clapton opened the second leg of his 50 Years Further Up The Road Tour in Dublin. Through 19 June, EC and His Band will visit 19 cities throughout the UK and Europe, including seven nights at London's Royal Albert Hall. At The O2 on 9 May, EC kicked things off with "Hello Old Friend" and over the next 2 hours and 15 minutes, touched on his biggest hits, his love of the blues and some deep cuts. Eric debuted two songs in the live arena: "Come Rain Or Come Shine" (from 2000's Riding With The King) and "Further On Down The Road" (from his most recent disc, Old Sock).
