A couple of weeks ago now, was my dad's birthday. We celebrated with a cake and some presents and of course a nice family dinner!</div>

The boys helped Nana put the finishing touches on the cake - all those sprinkles you see, yep that is the work of my Wyatt and Levi.</div>

And of course it was a group effort to blow out the candles. Although I don't think Levi wanted them to be blown out. He was liking all the attention - he thought we were singing for him. So cute.</div>

And as far as the gifts go... well we will have to hold off for a few more weeks on that one...</div>

When we were outside playing on this particular day, I was pretty sure we had finally hit spring. I mean all the flowering trees were marvelous! So we talked about it snowing in spring. And had a blast making the tree in our backyard snow down on us petals. </div>

I guess the joke was on us. Because just three days later it was hailing, sleeting, and yes, there were actual snowflakes falling. Oh the joy of nature. </div>

And because I have to add in this story. In the picture above, Levi is sitting in the dirt (will be garden) patch. Guess what he did during this venture into the yard... Oh yes, he log-rolled, full body style, back and forth the whole length of the patch at least three times, probably more. It was looking at a dirt child he was so covered. He "snowed" dirt out of his hair for the rest of the day - it was only 3 hours until bathtime. I mean I had to stripe him bare right at the back door and then wash him down with a washcloth. Lots of fun... I guess this is the joy of being a boy-mama. Nice weather = dirty kids.</div>
