This is a very fitting post...One year ago today was the last time I blogged. I left not really knowing why, I just did. Maybe because of Facebook...That venue can make you pretty lazy and not give as much thought to your posts as you do in blogging.

So there, I laid it in FB's lap...LOL!!!

I went to bed last night thinking how much I missed blogging and the blogging community and all the wonderfulness of it! So I shall begin this post with

a Welcome to Fall and to new paths and inspirations!

So on with the show........

I am working on a multi-mixed media doll.......She is going to be delicious when I am done with her! I will take pics along the way just so you can see her progress! She will be a raffle gift for a stupendous event that I am putting on at the end of October!!

I will try to keep my posts short and sweet, time is always of the essence!

Hello Everyone and Happy Summer!

Life has been busy and preparations for my nostalgic event are underway. I thought I would give everyone a peek at this years project. With out giving too much of her away, she is fabulous and really is a treat to create. She does measure at appox 15" tall and is a work of art you'll treasure for time to come!!

Last years event was a wonderful time and I hope new and old friends will join in on the fun!

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions and swaps will be getting underway soon, so join in as fast as you can!

Hello Everyone!

I haven't been a very good blogger lately and I do apologize to all of you who come by to see what's going on or just happen to stumble upon me.........I seem to have this battle between Face Book and Blogger and sometimes I think the convenience of FB wins....I am not happy with that...Face Book has turned into a dull drum place and it lacks the inspiration that blogs seem to posses, so with that I think I am coming home.....back to blogging, let's see how it goes!

I have tried to be super proactive with my local workshops and putting up a calender to give those of you time to plan and try to attend some of them. Now you all know how much I love Paper Crown in Oklahoma City...It's my home away from home and such a lovely place to be inspired! I have also tried something new...teaching small workshops in my home.....Now theses are not big events like my past parties that I have hosted Like 31 Wishes, smaller and very simple with a class limit. Workshops with a small lunch! If you are in the area or a local to the Ft. Worth area please register for a class,you will be thankful you did! Also I have made a decision ...only one big party this year...31 Wishes!...My home life, husband, kids, home improvements,and my health needs to take a front seat and my parties are so important to me that I can only host one this year and do it really well!

So here is the March & April class repertoire, pay close attention to location dates and times!

She is an ornament doll stands about 6-7 inches high and her arms and legs
move. She is encrusted with German glass glitter and seam binding. She
is made out of my personal mold. Each student will get molded doll and

So let’s get a little vintage and a little Girdie!

This workshop is all about textiles and executing your own personal style to the fullest! Dressing Girdie romantic or whimsical, the choice is all yours!

The Muslin dress form will be appox 15 1/2 inches tall and supported on a wooden base and consturcted entirely by you.

Another little secret I have....I love my scrap booking products ,

especially my Cricut!

Yes..... I am a super versatile artist, crafter, and hostest with the mostest!

I found that if you limit yourself in products and tools,

one can never ultimately find creative euphoria!

Truth!

With that little tid bit.....

I am so honored to be published in the current edition of Cricut's Birthday Magazine 2012!

I'll call it an early birthday gift to myself!

I hope you go out and buy a copy for yourself or someone who

loves to make birthday favors using their Cricut Machine on the fly!

There is so much offered in this edition and I

know you will love it!!

Also, I must apologize for my long absence, I have taken on the a

great feat, Homeschooling, but we have come to an official summer break and I must

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Quick update…This past Saturday I hosted an event called Spring High Tea…can I just say what a fabulous event! The women, the food, the décor, nothing left to spare! I will be sure to put up a full album up of pics but for now I wanted to do a quick reminder of this weekend’s class at

If you are up for a a delightful paper art class you will definitely want to take this workshop!

This workshop will allow you to think outside the box by using your scrapbooking tools and delicate papers to create a whimsical and vibrant paper banner. You will be inspired on how to incorporate traditional paper products and tools with textiles and milliner's embellishments to make the most detailed and sweetest little flowers and leaves. Then taking your everyday scrapbookers tools and creating the most beautiful banner for a creative celebration!

This project will combine many different mediums

 and most of all it will inspire you to take any piece

 of furniture or canvas and make a whimsical

 masterpiece of your own! Taking ideas from a

living chair and an upholstered tuffet, you will create

 an amazing piece which represents your own personal

 style and can be incorporated into your home or

studio!
