The IRS Scandal is turning into the proverbial "death by a thousand cuts" of this agency's only asset. It could be a real disaster, if not repaired, that asset is of course "confidence and trust". Remember, the US income tax relies on voluntary compliance.

Lois Lerner, Jail Time?

While its all very fascinating to watch as the mess unfolds for political junkies. One witness after
another regardless of position admitting to know nothing; nothing about the targeting of conservative groups seeking 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) exemptions, nothing about who else knew, nothing about who permitted and ordered it. The image being projected by the story and lack of any transparency could bode badly in the long run for the agency itself, very badly.

The Danger To The Nation Caused by The IRS Case, Loss Of Faith and Trust

The real impact resulting from this violation of trust and possible criminal behavior by it's staffers, upper management and perhaps by the Obama Administration itself could easily, if not already, undermine the IRS's ability to be effective in it's essential job, collecting revenue.

Until all of this crashed into the news and began evolving into what will doubtless be an endless series of Hearings and investigations. I like most, Americans have always felt regardless of the hassle in doing income taxes it was one of those obligations where everyone is treated the same.

You work, you earn, you file..yeah its a pain. It would be nice not to have to pay any taxes, but only an anarchist would fail to recognize as a civilized society we need certain things, that only Government can do. Granted we can all argue and debate what the role of Government should be, but that's a different process and can be handled with discussion and through the ballot box.

What a lot of Americans are now seeing, from both sides of the political aisle is: the IRS admittedly used it's nearly absolute power to limit the Constitutional Rights of a targeted group of American Citizens. So far, no one has had the courage to say where it all began or who ordered it. Everyone recognizes, this time it was Conservatives being targeted and next time it could be Progressives. This is a unifying issue if their ever was one.

Failure to deal with this aggressively and openly could easily result in MASSIVE losses of Tax revenue should enough tax payers on both sides of the political aisle decide the Agency is inherently corrupt and above the law.

How many hardworking American citizens are going to view their tax obligations differently if they lose faith in the fairness and impartiality of the tax system?
How many will go back to using cash?
How many will cash customer checks instead of depositing them as they have in the past?
How many will STRETCH allowable deductions?
How many are going play games with the new ACA regulations being handled by the IRS?
How many cash businesses will return to the methods so common during the 1960's and 1970's?

The ripple effect could be massive and the clock is ticking.

Rogue Low Level Staffers Could Be The Perfect Heros

The initial excuse of the problem originating with " a few rogue, low level staffers in Cincinnati" is without any credibility and is an obvious attempt to duck responsibility. They need to clean this up quickly and honestly by letting the trail of evidence lead them to the source. Which needs to result in charges and a severe price being paid by many.

At this point the greatest thing that could happen would be a bevy of those "low level" staffers to come forward and tell all under the protections of the Whistleblower statute. It's more than likely they were doing exactly what they were told or encouraged to, why should anyone try and blame them? They could spill the beans with testimony, memos, emails and all manner of written correspondences. Best of all, they would be believed and would do more to restore confidence regarding in the IRS more than any testimony or remark from the President.

Beyond the theatrics, this is a very serious problem. A problem that could take years to fix if not handled properly and could have a crippling effect on the already strained US Budget.

As the IRS targeting scandal spreads further down Pennsylvania Avenue towards 1600 the bodies are going to start piling up under the Obama bus. After all, the rules are "Protect the President at all costs" always.

Folks this isn't our first rodeo! We saw it during Watergate, Iran Contra, Rose Law Firm, Whitewater, Vince Foster's Death, The Plame Case- Yellow Cake Case, Benghazi, Fast and Furious and now the IRS Targeting mess. I have always been amazed how often Government workers are willing to either fall on the sword or let themselves be pushed onto it face first.

Its an "modi operandi" as old as Politics..and has been done over and over. Leaving the Presidential road kill, or soon to be, left with little more cover than "I am invoking my rights under the 5th Amendment".

Taking the 5th is always a sign of the end, it's like blood in the water off the Great Barrier Reef and the Great Whites are all over in minutes.

Anyone Can Become Either Bricks or Morter

So far the White House is laying the foundation for a massive wall, distancing and building some plausible deniability for Mr. Obama and as many as he can save without jeopardy. Already he's got Attorney Eric Holder taking charge conducing a possible "criminal investigation" ala John Mitchel.

The President has additionally given himself a little breathing room by getting rid the Acting IRS Head Steven Miller via "retirement" and IRS's Joseph Grant who was just promoted on May 8th is now leaving on June 3rd via "retirement" and today Lois Lerner, who took the 5th Amendment this week before the House Hearing. is going "on leave" on the orders of the new Acting IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel after she refused to resign.

Mr. Obama also has the added advantage of Jack Lew entering the office as the new head of Treasury. Lew however didn't do so well while encountering questions during a budget hearing. At least he is new and Tim Geithner is GONE...Sadly Tim looked guilty of things no matter what he actually did.

Two White House Staffers Are Likely Next to Get The IRS Ax

So, who is probably next? The short odds are more than likely White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough and White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler. Both admittedly knew about the IRS scandal well before the IG report release, they also claim they never mentioned it to the President, seriously? The lame argument so far being given for this claim was "they were protecting the Administration from involvement"..?? Anyone will tell you, Presidents know about lots of investigations and they simply opt to say nothing until it's completed. Once news reaches the White House, the President is supposed to be informed ALWAYS...

Then when you couple all of these denials with the 118 visits by IRS Commissioner in just two years to the White House, it makes the President's claim of not knowing until it was "in the news" rather tough to swallow. Perhaps impossible, so they GOTTA GO GO GO!!!

When will McDonough and Ruemmler be gone? Sooner rather than later. Right now they are making the President look like a bald faced liar. The risk is they could also end up taking the 5th which is always a no brainer for Ex-White House staffers. This possibility is the President's real problem? How do you keep wrecking careers this close to home without them turning on you? History has shown, you usually cannot..

The list will keep going until this apparently self inflicted cancer can either be neutralized or the White House becomes so universally discredited Mr.Obama's last four years will be one golf date after another...coupled with lots of time in Hawaii.

Taking the 5th Amendment and Criminal Guilt

Asserting this right is not an admission of guilt, but an obvious admission one may exist.

Yesterday after IRS staffer Lois Lerner took the 5th, the media and folks in the hearing room, were quick to assert (many tongue in cheek) that doing so is in no way an admission of guilt and is her Constitutional right.. yes, legally it is her right, yes she can do it.

Her decision now just BEGS for a Grand Jury to convene seeking an indictment. She'll no doubt get canned first or suspended, after all distancing is very important for the administration..Just as it was after Benghazi, Fast and Furious et all..Its going to once again get crowded "under the bus".

Now anyone reading this knows why she took the 5th and why nearly all witnesses do so. They have something to worry about, something serious to worry about.

It may be impossible as those at the top of the discredited agency will become exposed and possibly criminally so.

Of the 6.3 Million Abortions Performed in the UK from 1968 to 2011 only 143 or (0.006%) were performed for immediate threat to the "Life of the Mother". Only .37% (less than half of 1%) were performed over medical concerns that continuing the pregnancy would pose a threat to the mother.

"Life of the Mother" is apparently a Pro Choice RED HERRING

While Pro-Choice advocates love to drag out the Life Of the Mother argument to support abortion rights it would seem to be the least likely reason for supporting the law in the UK and probably here as well. Though it's often cited as the most compelling.

Finding such statistics here are very difficult as most studies in the USA do not cite medical reasons, but instead rely on the reasons given by the expectant mothers without any medical foundation. Such as "mother felt it might compromise her health" , "mother was worried" are often heard explanations. No stats are available for Medically required Abortions that I am aware of.

However unless women in the UK are vastly more healthy than their American counterparts we can I suspect by logical extension safely assume a similar study in the United States would yield similar results.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health (Earl Howe): Between 1968 and 2011 (the latest year for which figures are available) there have been 6.4 million abortions performed on residents of England and Wales. Of these, 143 (0.006%) were performed under Section 1(4), ie where the termination is immediately necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman or to prevent grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman.

A further 23,778 (0.37%) abortions were performed under Section 1(1)(c), ie that the continuance of pregnancy would involve the risk to the life of the woman, greater than if the pregnancy were terminated.

This week we all heard about the absolutely outrageous and punitive questioning being aimed at groups seeking tax Exempt Status based on their Politics and Personal Beliefs. It was targeting, it was an outrage and the IRS admitted it went on for years. Despite that admission the nuts on the far left are arguing, or trying to argue...the IRS did nothing wrong...

Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC did an amazingly poor job to argue just this point. HE really is dumb, and has the ratings to prove it, I don;t think his own family can bear to watch him anymore. But then he made an equally big fool of himself months ago when he dusted off his bogus "BASTON" accent trying to sound tough on some other issue... He's a wimp and TV bully..little else..

So back onto the IRS mess now on the front burner from Obama's Tri-fecta of destruction and bad news..

To put it all in perspective, its always a good idea to turn the tables and imagine if an equally insulting and overreaching questionnaire had been asked of Liberal groups to garner Tax Exempt status...imagine the questions? How would the Left respond today to them?

The questions that were actually asked in this current Obama Administration debacle were so cliched while targeting these groups it was almost comical. They asked what kinds of Prayers does your church do, to what kind of books you read?

So lets slip the shoe on the other foot and imagine similarly cliched and bigoted questions one could dream up to offend a Left wing group seeking a similar tax status...

So far 99% of the IG's investigation has been based solely on interviews, it's apparent more than enough probable cause exists for a much borader investigation..next stop? Grand Jury I suspect.

After yesterday's fiasco involving the un-co-operative former Acting Head of the IRS Steven Miller their is little doubt charges are very possible and not far off. Mr. Miller apparently has virtually no memory, no memory to the point it makes one wonder how he gets to work each day, or he was simply committing perjury all morning. His dancing gave the Inspector General J. Russell George a slam dunk for a much broader investigation, even more so than the ongoing one.

While watching the entire thing on C-Span I was stunned at what Mr. Miller said while sitting right next to Mr. George on national TV to a panel of Congressmen who were furious before the day started. Even the Dems went after the guy including Charlie Rangel who as we all recall had his own significant problems with the IRS. Carl Levin then made a pathetic comment about politics being involved and left...as did most Democrats after an hour or so....they could see the handwriting on the wall.

One astounding and very reveling bit of news from yesterday was Steven Miller had PRIOR to being made Acting Head of the IRS was in charge of the Tax-Exempt Department now being investigated. Gee, small world and despite all of that he still knew almost nothing? This will become an issue when the Whistle Blowers come out...and you know they will.

Phase Two, Building The Case Against the IRS, A Very Big Net

Next will be the IG's Office's move, if not already underway which seems to be the case. They will get subpoenas and warrants for paperwork throughout the IRS as well as organizations who had gotten information from the agency illegally.

Then comes the SWORN Federal Depositions...Ask Bill Clinton what happens if you lie to them....

Once the warrants and piles of subpoenas starts rolling, those down the food chain at the IRS will be talking to lawyers and reaching out quickly to be the first to get an immunity deal for testimony and supplying documents. The "low level" staffers have already seen how quickly their management has tried to shift blame, I doubt they will take the hit..So, if their was anything at all politically directed from above, its going to come out. It always does.

Career Government employees including IRS staffers know the drill on getting their own deal and that they must act before those at the top lay all the blame on them..the "low level" worker.. If any at this point do not think a spineless bureaucrat like Steven Miller or Ms. Lerner wouldn't sell them out in a nano second to save their own pathetic skins from prosecution and possible prison time is simply in denial..

The Inspector General continuing and apparently broadening investigation is a terrifying prospect for even the IRS. The IG is pretty much fearless on matter of this kind, even when it comes to organizations with as much power as the Internal Revenue Service. Not even Eric Holder will dare to quell an investigation.

Yesterday Barrack Obama stated that their was no need for a Special Prosecutor now that Eric Holder is conducting his own "Criminal Investigation"....that was about the funniest news of the day given Mr. Holders history and the utter lack of confidence Americans have in him. After all he should probably be investigated as well.

Time will tell, but for my money I'd wager this is going to end at 1600 Penn Ave. Not to be too self congratulatory, our track record on whats likely to happen is better than the MSM....

During the 4 hour morning session Former Acting Commissioner Steven Miller ducked and dodged question after question on what happened, who did what and who made decisions. Like Eric Holder's testimony yesterday most of what Mr. Miller said was peppered with responses largely made of "I do not know" , I cannot recall". "I do not have my notes", "can you clarify that for me more", "I am not really sure", and so forth.

What we did learn that was most interesting were TWO things specifically:

Mr. Miller had previously, before being made Acting IRS Director, been the HEAD of the Non Profit Division now under investigation.

The Inspector General Mr. George announced albeit cryptically, a much deeper IRS investigation is now underway as its fairly obvious "Probable Cause" exists resulting from the initial IG report released earlier this week for charges being brought.

Were Any Laws Actually Broken?

By all accounts many could have been broken, not the least of which is the pretty well confirmed leaking of Tax information to outside political groups, that is illegal. Has everyone forgotten Sen Harry Reaid's anouncemtn last year from the well of the Senate floor? Today a story popped out about a class action suit that is underway in California regarding 15 IRS agents who seized without a Warrant the medical records of what was thought initially to involve 10 Million Americans, those numbers have now been revised to 60 Million records involving 10 Million Americans. This is a story of breathtaking scale that no one in the media has yet to seize on..but they will.

Why Isn't This Being Covered in The Press?

The story first surfaced on Courthouse New Service on March 14th ans has gone largely unnoticed until today when FORBES picked it up.

IRS Seizes 60 Million Medical Records Illegally

The records included treatment and diagnostic records for psychological and gynecological counselling, drug treatment, and virtually every imaginable piece of information a person might have on their files. Apparently HIPPA has been tossed into the trash.

According to the suit: The IRS threatened to RIP out the IT servers if their demands were not met for the medical information despite having NO WARRANT. .

The suit obviously alleges a massive infringement of 4th Amendment Rights... :

“This is an action involving the corruption and abuse of power by several Internal Revenue Service agents,”

“No search warrant authorized the seizure of these records; no subpoena authorized the seizure of these records; none of the 10,000,000 Americans were under any kind of known criminal or civil investigation and their medical records had no relevance whatsoever to the IRS search. IT personnel at the scene, a HIPAA facility warning on the building and the IT portion of the searched premises, and the company executives each warned the IRS agents of these privileged records,”

“These medical records contained intimate and private information of more than 10,000,000 Americans, information that by its nature includes information about treatment for any kind of medical concern, including psychological counseling, gynecological counseling, sexual or drug treatment, and a wide range of medical matters covering the most intimate and private of concerns,” the complaint states.

“Despite knowing that these medical records were not within the scope of the warrant, defendants threatened to ‘rip’ the servers containing the medical data out of the building if IT personnel would not voluntarily hand them over,”

“Moreover, even though defendants knew that the records they were seizing were not included within the scope of the search warrant, the defendants nonetheless searched and seized the records without making any attempt to segregate the files from those that could possibly be related to the search warrant. In fact, no effort was made at all to even try maintaining the illusion of legitimacy and legality.”

The IRS is Involved in Much More than Targeting Political Enemies, They Have Targeted All of Us

Time again we have all seen how the Obama Administration reacts when things go awry. Following the Ft. Hood shooting the Government declared the act was "Work Place Violence" and not the act of an Islamic Fundamentalist killer who yelled "Allah Akbar" before killing 13 people.

Following the Benghazi debacle despite reams of instantly available intelligence to the contrary it was labelled a "Spontaneous Protest gone awry over a Your Tube Video" which insulted the Prophet Mohamed and not who it really was, an al Qaeda affiliate.

After the Boston Bombing, he made his now famous "lets not jump to conclusions" comment, once it was shown the attack was done by two Muslim extremists he said nothing.

Following the attempted Times Square Bombing by a Pakistani al Qaeda trained terrorist, both Eric Holder and President Obama refused to call it a "Islamic Terrorist Incident" or "attempted Isamic Terrorist attack". Despite being told who the man was by the Pakistani Government. After he plead guilty, the Administration changed their tune reluctantly.

Fast and Furious and The Mexican Drug Cartels

President Obama, in his desire to show progress on "The Border Issue" they pulled out all the stops. They then instituted a plan similar to one done on a small scale during the Bush years. Bush's plan was done with the co-operation of the Mexican government, but was abandoned quickly as too dangerous.

When some of the estimated 2,000 weapons pushed into Mexico unilaterally by Eric Holder's ATF resulted in killing an estimated 300 people including an American Border Guard, the White House responded with denial of any knowledge despite evidence to the contrary. Ultimately ending with the Presidential Privilege being inserted to void culpability. The Media let this contradiction slip through the cracks.

Following Fast & Furious President Obama promised a full investigation for the American people, none was ever done that anyone knows of.

Planned Parenthood, the organization known for it's oxymoronic name, evidently just couldn't manage to keep their mouths shut following the Press Free trial and murder conviction of Dr. Kermit Gosnell who will now be serving a life sentence. He apparently didn't wish to die..a fate he no problem doling out to perhaps as many as several hundred babies following a botched abortion resulting in LIVE births which he soon ended.

As my own Mother use to say, "lets cut the crap here"...

Someone needs to remind Planned Parenthood REAL human beings were murdered by this abortion Doctor. Real newly born babies, thought to number perhaps in the hundreds over the years, had their spinal cords cut after surviving an abortion. They were in fact summarily executed with the tacit permission of the expectant "Mothers".

These late term expectant "mother's", using the term loosely here, knew why they were going to Dr. Gosnell's chamber of horrors. They went for an illegal late term abortion and Gosnell was the only option and they wanted it, they knew he would do it. The "mothers" were by default de facto accomplices to murder ultimately, not victims. They even paid EXTRA because it was a LATE abortion Gosnell had "special" rate tables for "the late ones"....$1,600 to $3,000 for these murders.

By 24 to 26 weeks, a pregnant women can FEEL their baby moving, they feel the kicks, the pushing, the bumps in the night. They know they are carrying a baby and they paid Dr. Gosnell to kill it. Some were as late as 31 weeks...31 WEEKS, almost 8 months along!

The babies were the victims...The babies...! Not the Mothers, they PAID to have it done.

These real babies were executed while their MOTHER's lay nearby in most cases knowing what was happening, only to be heavily drugged shortly afterwards so they could recover. They recovered while their murdered newborn was dissected and flushed into the sewer, with a possible foot being saved in a mason jar. Some of these were found in the Clinic's refrigerator along side the staff lunches and carrot sticks.

Were Any Of the Mom's Upset About Having Their Babies Killed?

One fact needs to be examined. How many of these women went straight to the Police to file MURDER charges when they learned what had happened to their live born babies who were subsequently killed by Gosnell?

The answer is not one did...NONE. Its not conceivable that none ever knew, most had to know, they were there. Did any later have remorse realizing their Baby had been killed and say anything? NOPE, not one...out of hundreds...who knows, maybe thousands. It went on for over 30 years.

Well here we are again, another scandal has hit the Obama White House. It seems to be almost a daily thing. Instead of dealing with it honestly, openly and transparently, he seems to be doubling down in denial while trying to re-frame the issues as petty politics. Did he learn nothing from Fast & Furious and Benghazi?

Its no secret the President has become increasingly isolated in DC. Benghazi has become a third rail now that the facts are out about what really happened and when the White House knew it.

The only backers the President has left on the Libyan mess is Jay Carney, the Huffington Post and a couple folks on MSNBC. Not even PBS or NPR are carrying that bucket of water anymore. The President lied and mislead the nation for weeks.

The IRS Scandal Could Be a Cancer on The President

Then their is the unfolding IRS Scandal. So far the President has only said its unacceptable "if the accusations are true"..The President must have missed the part where the IRS admitted to targeting Conservative groups. Initially the SPIN was the IRS issue was limited to just one area.."Cincinnati ". It then came out the Cincinnati IRS office IS the National Center for handling Nonprofits. Now the mess has gone right into DC and upper management.

The Billy Graham Evangelical Ministry was audited and harassed last year by IRS. According to Franklin Graham in an interview said: “I believe that someone in the administration was targeting and attempting to intimidate us. This is morally wrong and unethical – indeed some would call it ‘un-American.” he went to say “I do not believe that the IRS audit of our two organizations last year is a coincidence – or justifiable.”

Is the IRS, an Election Tool?

If the soon to follow Hearings result in a smoking gun at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., President Obama will NEVER get past it to the end of his term. It will end him.

Now another whopper, a really big story and potentially the most dangerous for the President. yesterday it was announced that Obama's Department of Justice under the control of the hapless Eric Holder has really stepped on the hornet's nest. His office subpoenaed the phone records affecting the privacy and First Amendment Rights of over 100 Associated Press reporters including their home numbers. The AP can crush a President.

President Obama's palpable contempt for the press is surging to the surface, this is a mistake.

Its a non profit organization based in New York. Their articles appear daily in over 1,700 newspapers and 5000 TV stations around the globe in over 120 countries. The are owned by their subscribing news outlets. AP employ dozens of Pulitzer Prize winning investigative reporters...They are by far the largest and most powerful news agency on earth. Their ability to get information is on a par with the FBI, NSA and CIA..

The Department of Justice's invasion of the Constitutional Rights under The First Amendment will not be good for this White House. This is a disaster.

Is Obama having a Nixonian Moment?

Ron Fournier the former DC bureau chief of the Associated Press and currently Editorial Chief of The National Journal called the situation "chilling and an attempt to intimidate journalists". "we are being mislead every day, we were lied to by the IRS".

The press has for the last 5 years, since 2008, given Barack Obama a "pass" on many issues. The media is and has been very liberal leaning since the 1960's. However in 24 hours following this story breaking; Andrea Mitchell, David Gregory, Mike Barnacle, dozens of NYT, Washington Post writers have all turned on the President as well a legendary Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein. Even John Stewart went after Mr Obama last night..

Its only going to get worse.

Carl Bernstein a raging Liberal, On Wednesdays "Morning Joe", said the following about the AP bombshell:

“The object of it is to intimidate people who talk to reporters,” he said “This was an accident waiting to become a nuclear event, and now it’s happened.”

“The numerical thing doesn’t matter,” Bernstien said “What matters is, this is a matter of policy. It is known to the president of the United States that this is the policy. To say that there was no knowledge, in quotes, specifically about this in the White House is nonsense.”

“This is a policy matter, and this does go to the president and the people around him,”. “The idea is to try and make an example of those people who talk to reporters, especially on national security matters. National security is always the false claim of administrations trying to hide things that people ought to know.”

Heads should roll and Eric Holder's expiration date went by two years ago....

So what will be the biggest story in the end? I suspect it will be the IRS driven by angry news outlets enraged by President Obama's pal Eric Holder's 1st Amendment Violations....Time will tell.

Administration a few things are now begging for answers. Not to mention a long overdue apology from the President for lying to the entire nation.

It's Official, we can formally and honestly call Barack Obama a flat out liar. We can also toss into the pot the heads of the State Department and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta. Administration supporters can no longer hedge or defend what happened by saying "it was the best information we had at the time", "based on what we knew on the ground in real time", no need to mince words with plausible possible explanations. The deception is OVER, they lied and lied repeatedly and then lied about lying. Its all on the table complete with a timeline.

Why did the White House hide the reality of what happened in Benghazi?

They did it obviously for a number of reasons and very likely for other reasons not yet known I suspect.

First they had to lie about the attack to protect the official government narrative that al Qaeda has been "decimated" and "on the run". Clearly nothing could be further from the truth.
Second its no secret that using the terms "Islamic Terrorists" , "Muslim Terrorists", "Muslim Extremists" and so forth is wording they, as a matter of policy, avoid like the plague. Admitting the attack was anything more than a protest over a Your Tube Video would contradict the "Narrative".
It happened near the end of the election cycle and very obviously could have possibly damaged his chances at re-election.

Lastly and perhaps MOST importantly What was really going on at the CIA Annex? Having 44 known operatives in a secret location is for the CIA a very large contingency of staff and extremely unusual. Especially when you add in additional staff from the State Department. Even more unusual is having this much staff in a highly volatile hot spot like Benghazi. While cutting protection despite demands to the contrary for MORE security.

Benghazi isn't going away and will haunt president Obama until he leaves office, as well as Hillary Clinton and her aspirations to run for President 2016.

Despite the dog and pony show currently being undertaken by Ambassador Pickering who conducted the ARB report. Nothing he says will shield Ms. Clinton or Barack Obama. His current efforts are now to defend why Hillary was never formally interviewed. In other words its a skillful whitewash.

IRS Profiling and Target Conservative Political Groups Specifically In Swing States

Groups. Much of the information coming from the newly released Inspector General Report accusing the Tax Agency of playing politics by attacking and harassing groups opposed to the Presidents re-Election bid.

Specifically the IRS targeted and flagged groups affiliated with "The Tea Party", "9/12 Project", any group or organization critical of "the way the country is being run" , any group using the word "Patriot" in their name or groups advocating for adherence to the "Constitution or Bill of Rights".

Other political groups using the words "progressive" or "Obama 2012" were not similarly scrutinized. Despite claims to the contrary by Lois G. Lerner the head of the agency department which oversee's tax exempt organizations who argued their was no political bias within the agency.

It has since been announced this has been going on for 3 years (since 2010) despite denials by the head of the agency. Who is now trying to deflect the damage by claiming this was all being done by "low level staffers" and was not condoned by anyone in IRS management.

The obvious problem is of course an agency the size of the IRS doesn't suddenly adopt this kind of policy system wide without instructions from the top. Or introduce "flagging" procedures at the local level. The idea that "low level" IRS employees did this unilaterally to aid President Obama is laughable and insulting.

More importantly these harassment techniques were focused on key electoral swing states which President Obama needed to win re-election.

The IRS admitted Friday the accusations were true and then apologized for the "inappropriate targeting of Conservative Groups". The hearings will no doubt start very soon.

President Obama is now on the same page in the history books as Richard Nixon on this issue.

He will no doubt make a speech, talk about accountability, integrity and most likely call it something like outrageous...he is full of it. He'll require we all hold judgement until a "full investigation" takes place...blah, blah, blah...just like Benghazi and Fast and Furious....

It was announced today the Justice Department secretly subpoenaed the phone records of Associated Press Journalists, in a flagrant invasion of privacy. The AP President Gary Pruitt said it was a "massive and unprecedented intrusion"

"Obtaining a broad range of telephone records in order to ferret out a government leaker is an unacceptable abuse of power," Ben Wizner, the head of the ACLU's Speech and Privacy Department. In total they gathered records from 20 lines including private phone lines of workers.

Pruitt told Eric Holder "We regard this action by the Department of Justice as a serious interference with AP's constitutional rights to gather and report the news,".

On Que Jay Carney White House Spokesman and Chief lapdog and denier of all things regarding all scandals said “We are not involved in decisions made in connection with criminal investigations, as those matters are handled independently by the Justice Department.”

Ariel Castro Could Be Charged With the Murder of Five Unborn Babies

According to Cuyahoga County prosecutor Timothy McGinty, they will seek Aggravated Murder charges for the five induced abortions of at least one of the girls he repeatedly raped over the course of her imprisonment. According to the police report one of the victims, Miss Knight, became pregnant by rape five times during her captivity. Castro would after learning this "starved her for at least two weeks, then he repeatedly punched her in the stomach until she miscarried.". This purportedly happened five times...and may have occurred with the other girls as well.

In other words he terminated the pregnancy's by force, in Ohio that can result in a MURDER charge.

Pro Choice Supporters Might Have To Partially Defend Ariel Castro

This horrifying case could present an interesting conundrum for the Abortion Rights crowd. Since Roe V Wade was upheld by the Supreme Court its been argued by supporters an unborn baby is not a human being. After all for them ending a life can only happen after birth. So is a baby really only a "potential human being"? From a legal standpoint that might change, seeing how Pro-Choice advocates respond could be very telling. They have little choice but to defend and argue against the murder charge.

How can a charge of murder be brought if we are to believe an unborn baby isn't person? By definition the only way you can be charged with murder is by killing a human being right? Is the definition of what a human being is now going to be viewed to include an unborn baby?

Is the Ohio Law Un-Constitutional? It could get challenged

Is a baby only a human being in the womb if the pregnancy is terminated by a rapist kidnapper? But not a life when ended by an expectant mother intentionally?

Do moms have a right to end a pregnancy without legal consequences, but a criminal causing the end of a pregnancy is potentially a Murderer? Why isn't what this monster did just another case of assault? A baby in the womb is after all, if we are to believe the Abortion Rights crowd, not yet a human being.

Attorney Victoria Toensing Representing a Whistle-Blower, Threats

The former Justice Department official and Attorney and legal council to the Senate Intelligence Committee Victoria Toensing, has been retained to represent one of the witnesses on Benghazi. She has told news outlets several of those wanting to speak have been threatened with what amounts to career ruination if they do. Not only at the State Department but the CIA as well.

Victoria Toensing, went on to say “It's frightening, and they're doing some very despicable threats to people,” she said, “Not ‘we're going to kill you,' or not ‘we're going to prosecute you tomorrow,’ but they're taking career people and making them well aware that their careers will be over if they cooperate with congressional investigators.”

These threats coming from Government Officials despite a Federal Law protecting individuals who come forward and are identified as "whistle-blowers".

This past Friday Daryl Issa the Republican Chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee wrote Secy. John Kerry complaining that Atty. Toensing could not get a Security Clearance which she had already had previously while working as council to the Senate Committee.

What Requests? "not aware of whistle-blowers one way or another" State Dept.

On Monday State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell denied knowing anything about any requests for "Clearances"..he further went on to deny knowing ANYTHING about any Whistle-Blowers???

“I'm not aware of private counsel seeking security clearances or, or anything to that regard,” Ventrell said. “I'm not aware of whistle-blowers one way or another.”

Today, the very next day, the State Department admitted to the testimony ban.

Today during the Presidents Press Conference in an exchange with FOX news reporter Ed Henry asked,

“There are people in your own State Department saying they have been blocked from coming forward, that they survived the terror attack and they want to tell their story.”

Henry then asked “Will you help them come forward and say it once and for all?”

President Obama relied: “Ed, I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying. What I’ll do is I’ll find out what, exactly, you’re referring to.”

“Our job, with respect to Benghazi, has been to find out exactly what happened, to make sure that U.S. embassies – not just in the Middle East but around the world – are safe and secure, and to bring those who carried it out to justice. But I’ll find out, exactly, what you’re referring to.”

“They’ve hired an attorney because they say they’ve been blocked from coming forward,” Henry said

“I’m not familiar with it,” Obama responded...

Benghazi The Great Lie, Won't Die

At this point the Press Corp went universally still...they all knew they were hearing a massive lie. It was instantly re-tweeted and had gone viral being viewed as Brilliant! By a mostly idiots.

If her tweet were true, the number of Jihadists in the world would number less than 100 people...just like the Westboro Baptists Church and no one certainly would have been killed or harmed in the last 20 years.

Comparing violent Jihadist Sociopaths or any other terrorist group to the Westboro Baptist Church, as bad as they are, comes no where close to being the equal of REAL Terrorists, not even close.

The "Tweet" was stupid and illogical.

A Reality Check on the WBC and Terrorists

These kinds of comparisons always seems to come out after a religious fanatic or group of them does what happened in Boston at the end of the Marathon. Interestingly it also only happens when its been done by followers of Islam. Mainly because so few Christians kill and injure scores of people in the name of Christianity..

In the 40 years since the passing of Roe v Wade and much public debate, anger and frustration. A handful of people have been killed by "Pro-life" extremists (less than 9) despite their own fervor based mostly in Christianity. As far as I know all of them have been arrested and convicted and incarcerated with everyone's approval. None of them have had any connection to the WBC.

While the Westboro Baptist Church are an offensive, manner-less, cruel, low grade pack of cracked pots lead by a an abusive overbearing father to a clan of misfits. A clan who thinks he is speaking the word of God..this Tweet is a silly, very weak attempt at creating a moral equivalency to al Qaeda, Hamas or even the Tsanaraev Brothers, its is just nonsense.

The WBC are shunned in their own town as pariah's. The founder Fred Phelps cannot get a haircut unless he sneaks in after hours. No other Church touts their actions as admirable, or supports them.

The ENTIRE Church comprises less than 50 to 75 people...from a Christian population world wide of 2.1 Billion...400 Million more than Muslims.

The WBC Cause Hurt Feelings, They Do Not Execute and Maim

The Boston Marathon was not a unique target. It could have be done anywhere from here to London to Paris to Madrid to a Cafe in Mumbai or a suburb of Manila. It could also have been in any number of Muslim dominant countries, as they often commit similar attacks between themselves, the old Sunni versus Shi'ite hatred.

The Muslim Community Once Again Asks For Understanding

As in the past following so many of these horrific events, we are faced with members of the Muslim community here and abroad asking for understanding and tolerance. Local Muslim leaders are requesting they all not be lumped in together as having the same values and broken moral compass as the two mental midgets who set off the bombs at the Marathon Finish line. I can understand why they are asking this of non Muslims, unfortunately the perception and history preceding the request for tolerance makes it a tough lump to swallow.

Its not just that the list of Islamic countries intolerant of other religions isn't getting any shorter or that many prohibit the building of Christian Churches and Jewish temples. In fact often existing ones are burned or torn down by local lunatics in what they think is the name of Allah. The local Governments do little to nothing.

Its not just the endless stories about how women are treated in many Muslim countries. The issue of rape and what happens to a woman who has been raped if she cannot meet certain criteria, the barbaric practice clitoral mutilations, fanatics dumping acid in the faces of girls who learn to read books!

Its not just the perception that the Muslim world cannot even get along with themselves which more often than not results in mass killings and threats of more to come.

Its not just the near daily reinforced reality that the first reaction for members of Islam is to reach for a bomb when a disagreement arises. Often resulting in the bomber's own suicide.

The Problem is not a lack of Tolerance by Others, But Passive Acceptance By Muslims of the Status Quo

Its not just one or two of the above issues that is the problem for non believers. When westerners look at whats happened in it's totality, it leaves a rational impenetrable barrier to understanding that cannot be overlooked easily. Nor should it be. All of these issues create an impression, its a very negative and deeply disturbing one.

Islam has on it's own created an image of deep differences on all levels. The gap is the Grand Canyon of cultures. They have in fact through the media demanded these differences be observed and respected absent any inclination of acceptance towards others publicly. These self imposed demands for differences have been going on for centuries often ending in violence if not observed.

Are all Muslims terrorists? Of course not, the problem is the members of Islam have no right to demand or expect acceptance until THEY get their house in order..Human nature will not permit it, if they think it can, they are deeply mistaken.

The Problem with Islam is the problem with Islam, which is what it's always been.

To seek understanding from people living outside of this religion after seeing those who hijacked it decades ago with impunity, leaving behind an endless trail of blood and destruction affecting millions of people, doesn't leave much room in anyone's heart for sympathy.

For some of the Low Points of this Administration's behavior prior to and after the attack in Benghazi continue on.

This is a very ugly report and puts into clear terms what was really going as president Obama was gearing up his run for a second term in office. The more you read, the more you understand how far this President would go to get re-elected. Their was no limit, none.

Despite President Obama's and Secretary Clinton's then protestations to the contrary about what happened after Benghazi it was a huge cover-up from start to finish. The report released yesterday indicates it was worse than anyone had imagined. Except for those of you who had paid attention all along.

The Report Paints a Dusgusting Picture of President Obama and Hillary Clinton

Yes Hillary Clinton also point blank lied about not knowing about a request for more security, she signed the denial personally. To "Systematically withdraw security from Libya". Despite requests for more security.

In May 2012, Ambassador Stevens replaced Ambassador Cretz and continued to make requests for additional security. In an email in early June, he told a State Department official that with national elections occurring in Libya in July and August, the U.S. Mission in Libya “would feel much safer if we could keep two MSD teams with us through this period [to support] our staff and [personal detail] for me and the [Deputy Chief of Mission] and any VIP visitors.”16

The State Department official replied that due to other commitments and limited resources, “unfortunately, MSD cannot support the request.”17

Here are a few key Points from the report:

Before the Attacks:

After the U.S.-backed Libyan revolution ended the Gadhafi regime, the U.S. government did not deploy sufficient U.S. security elements to protect U.S. interests and personnel that remained on the ground.

Senior State Department officials knew that the threat environment in Benghazi was high and that the Benghazi compound was vulnerable and unable to withstand an attack, yet the Department continued to systematically withdraw security personnel.

We know who IS accountable...

Repeated requests for additional security were denied at the highest levels of the State Department. For example, an April 2012 State Department cable bearing Secretary Hillary Clinton’s signature acknowledged then-Ambassador Cretz’s formal request for additional security assets but ordered the withdrawal of security elements to proceed as planned.

The attacks were not the result of a failure by the Intelligence Community (IC) to recognize or communicate the threat. The IC collected considerable information about the threats in the region, and disseminated regular assessments to senior U.S. officials warning of the deteriorating security environment in Benghazi, which included threats to American interests, facilities, and personnel.

The President, as Commander-in-Chief, failed to proactively anticipate the significance of September 11 and provide the Department of Defense with the authority to launch offensive operations beyond self-defense. Defense Department assets were correctly positioned for the general threat across the region, but the assets were not authorized at an alert posture to launch offensive operations beyond self-defense, and were provided no notice to defend diplomatic facilities.

Speaking of Not Optimal..Mr President?

During the Attacks:

Department of Defense officials and military personnel reacted quickly to the attacks in Benghazi. The effectiveness of their response was hindered on account of U.S. military forces not being properly postured to address the growing threats in northern Africa or to respond to a brief, high-intensity attack on U.S. personnel or interests across much of Africa.

After the Attacks:

The Administration willfully perpetuated a deliberately misleading and incomplete narrative that the attacks evolved from a political demonstration caused by a YouTube video. Senior Administration officials knowingly minimized the role played by al-Qa’ida-affiliated entities and other associated groups in the attacks, and decided to exclude from the discussion the previous attempts by extremists to attack U.S. persons or facilities in Libya.

Administration officials crafted and continued to rely on incomplete and misleading talking points. The Administration also removed references to the threat of extremists linked to al-Qa’ida in Benghazi and eastern Libya.

Joe Wilson was Prophetic, Obama DOES Lie

Evidence rebuts Administration claims that the talking points were modified to protect classified information or to protect an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Administration deflected responsibility by blaming the IC for the information it communicated to the public in both the talking points and the subsequent narrative it perpetuated.

Other Considerations from the report.

Prior to the Benghazi attacks, State Department officials in Libya made repeated requests for additional security that were denied in Washington despite ample documentation of the threat posed by violent extremist militias.

The Deteriorating Security Environment in Benghazi

In spite of the TNC’s efforts after the revolution, U.S. officials were aware that Libya remained volatile. U.S. officials were particularly concerned with the numerous armed militias that operated freely throughout the country, including those in Benghazi with ties to al-Qa’ida and Ansar Al Sharia.4

In August 2012, the State Department warned U.S. citizens against traveling to Libya, explaining that “inter-militia conflict can erupt at any time or any place.”5

Security Arrangements for the Benghazi Mission

Despite mounting security concerns, for most of 2012 the Benghazi Mission was forced to rely on fewer than the approved number of DS agents. Specifically, while the State Department memorandum signed by Under Secretary Kennedy stated that five agents would be provided, this was the case for only 23 days in 2012.9 Reports indicate the Benghazi Missionwas typically staffed with only three DS agents, and sometimes as few as one DS agent.10

For its security, the Benghazi Mission used a combination of these few DS agents, as well as a U.S. Military Security Support Team (SST), and two Mobile Security Detachment (MSD) teams provided by the State Department. The SST consisted of 16 Defense Department special operations personnel. As commander of the SST, Lieutenant Colonel Wood reported to the U.S. Chief of Mission in Libya.11 The MSD teams each consisted of six DS agents, all of whom underwent advanced training to augment security at high-threat posts.12

In addition to the security provided by U.S. agencies, the Benghazi Mission used local, unarmed guards, who were responsible for activating the alarm in the event of an attack, as well as four armed members of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade, who were to serve as a quick reaction force. The February 17 Martyrs Brigade was one of the militias that fought for Gadhafi’s overthrow. Numerous reports have indicated that the Brigade had extremist connections, and it had been implicated in the kidnapping of American citizens as well as in the threats against U.S. military assets. In addition, on September 8, 2012, just days before Ambassador Stevens arrived in Benghazi, the February 17 Martyrs Brigade told State Department officials that the group would no longer support U.S. movements in the city, including the Ambassador’s visit.13

This past Friday night April 19, 2013, following the car chase that resulted in the death of Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the escape of his brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev something else happened which seems to have fallen to the wayside in the news.

These are suppose to be the Same Men? Really?

Last Friday a man who at a glance looked remarkably like Tamerlan had been taken into custody nude, after the police ordered him to strip off all of his clothes. Obviously he was told to strip out of a concern that he was possibly the elder brother or involved and perhaps was wearing a bomb.

In all the confusion that night it's easy to see how this guy could have been confused with the older bomber..they do bear similar resemblances to each other. Given the situation that night the police were acting prudently.

With all of that said their are some odd loose ends to the story.

Was The Detained Naked Guy in Watertown Released?

Who was he? After scouring the internet this morning I could find no reports or articles identifying the man or what happened to him after being put in custody.

Reports which are available from the night said he was put in a cruiser (see the video) at one point he was taken from the police cruiser and photographed by the FBI and then put BACK into the cruiser.

Since then no one has identified who he was or what exactly happened afterwards. They have not even said whether or not he was later released. I am assuming he was released and more than likely wishes to keep his privacy. However the police should have made some kind of statement as to what did happen in the end. So far though the COPS have said nothing on whether he was or wasn't released or who he was. Which frankly is odd...

It could well be he was a man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and has asked his name not be made public, after which he simply wanted to quietly go home. However in a news story of this magnitude it would seem keeping his name out of the press would be nearly impossible..so, who the heck was he? The police should at least simply say.."he was determined to have had no involvement with the events of that evening and wishes to maintain his privacy"...

Anyone know?

Who was The Other, Other Guy? It Looks Like Two Entirely Different Men Were Stopped

The other problem is, the naked guy videotaped by CNN getting into the police car looks nothing like the man broadcast all over the news that night laying clothed on the ground, who the police later said was the man they had asked to strip and later detained or arrested.

"One man, two men, red man, blue man?" Looks like two different men to me.

Why Would The Boston Islamic Center Post This Request on April 20th, 2013 ?

Within minutes of the double bombing at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013 speculation about who was responsible for the Terrorist act began. Predictably, as with all things pertaining to "The Media" the speculation fell along the politically acceptable talking points and prejudicial views on both sides of the aisle. In effect they were making guesses shaped by their politics.

On the left "progressives" aka Liberals like Chris Mathews and Wolf Blitzer were off to the races suggesting, not so subtly, it could have been the work of a "right wing domestic political group", "anti tax militant types", "crazy Christian fundamentalists", "Kennedy haters" etc.

On the other side we heard from Sean Hannity and Conservative commentators suggesting it could have been the work Islamist militants, Radicalized American Muslims, an al Qaeda Cell etc.

On Thursday April 18th, within hours of the FBI releasing the images of the prime suspects they had names to go with the faces. When those names were made public it wasn't long before much was known about the "alleged perpetrators". The possible/likely answers as to why they did what they did began to come into focus and other suggested motivations began to evaporate.

MSNBC Departed on The Crazy Train Today

Today on MSNBC with Mellissa Harris-Perry during a discussion of alternative causes to the marathon Bombing said, “I keep wondering: is it possible that there would ever be a discussion like, ‘oh, this is because of Ben Affleck and the connection between Boston and movies about violence?’” “And, of course, the answer is ‘no." Ms. Harris-Perry smartly made no effort to explain why this idea was based in any logic.
Then Dr. Dyson never wanting to be outdone on the stupidity scale in finding an alternative explanation to Islamic terrorism being a plausible explanation said "they might have also listened to classical music or had a Little Wayne"..Yes he said it. I am surprised he didn't seek blame under the golden arches of McDonalds as these guys probably also ate hamburgers.

Listen to this video, its about the best example of twisted logic I've heard in years...It makes Barney Frank sound like Pat Buchanan. To be fair in the aftermath of this horrible attack similar but not as extreme contortions in logic took place on the politically Conservative side of the aisle.

Terrorists Never Kill Without A Cause or Reason, NEVER!

All Terrorists have a "Cause" which motivates them, this idea isn't news of course but worth keeping in mind when seeking out answers as to why the Tsarnaev's may have done what they are "suspected " of. Terrorists and mass killings are always done by a person or persons driven by an idea or belief. Never has anyone committed a Terrorist bombing who wasn't driven by a "Cause". If you know of one that has been, please let me know.

In fact most attacks are well planned, practiced and even rehearsed. In the case of bombings most bombers have had help in gathering the materials, gaining the technical knowledge to build them as well as executing the plan.

Even folks suffering from mental illnesses believe they have reasons or causes worth killing for.

Five Basic Possible Causes of All Terrorist Acts

In the past 100 years, the reason for 99.99 % of all terrorist acts conducted in the USA and around the world generally fall into four categories. Sometimes you have a hybrid combination of 2 or more of the 5. These reasons are:

Mentally ill individuals.
Political Motivations
Religion
Racism / Ethnic hatred
Financial Gain

Its never all that complicated, when you have an event like 911, The Federal Building Bombing in Oklahoma City, The Sikh Temple Shooting, the Amish School Shooting 2006 or IRA bombings knowing WHY always becomes self evident once the perpetrators are identified, usually within hours or days the question of why is established.

While killers such as the 911 Terrorists or Timothy Mc Veigh had more influences in their lives than intolerant hateful religious fanaticism "Jihad" or irrational residual anger over the WACO Massacre little else can or needs to be looked at as a causal link for these acts.

Radical Islams Connection To The Tsarnaev Brothers

In the case of Boston's Marathon Bombing we can fairly comfortably arrive at an explanation with the information which has surfaced since their identity's have been learned and their personal history's revealed.

Suffice it to say their is a growing number of connections between these "alleged" killers and radical Islamist's currently locked in a religious-political battle in Chechnya between the Russian Government and the Sunni population driven by violent Jihadists.

Chechen Jihadists have long been supported by al Qaeda throughout the middle east, I only mention this in case you didn't know.

For al Qaeda, the Chechen struggle against Russia is as important a cause as those of Afghanistan and Syria. (Remember, Islam is a religion, not a race or ethnic group.)

According to all intelligence reports on Al Qaeda, radicalized Jihadists and a wide variety of other spin off groups have one thing in common. They universally support whats known as "World Wide Jihad", these groups includes Chechen Islamist's.

In the context of Radicalized Islam the term "World Wide Jihad" simply means; If you adhere to the righteousness of Violent Islamic Jihad against non believers and are by circumstance unable to participate directly in the land with which you most closely identify, fight the non believers wherever you are.

For two men who were by all accounts observant Muslims, including one who was universally described by those who knew him well as "Deeply religious", to commit such a violent intentional act against a large crowd of non believers of Islam the only plausible explanation is an act of Radicalized Jihadism.

Whether or not the brothers got help in bomb making and some "inspiration" from the Terrorists in Chechnya or even got direct help is not yet known. Whether they worked as "lone wolves" or part of a larger operation remains to be learned. Terrorists take many forms, these various forms do not alter that which defines them. The results of their behavior is all that is needed to know what they are.

An Islamic Terrorist can be linked to a group or many groups and can also work alone without any formal or even informal outside affiliations.

Some of What is now known abut the Boston Marathon Bombers

The Tsarnaev brothers are both of Chechen origin.
Chechen's are 93% Sunni Muslims.
Chechnya is fighting for their freedom from Russia, lead by Muslim Jihadists.
Chechen Separatist fighters have turned up in Afghanistan.
In recent months the older brother Tamerlan had become very religiously observant according to his family.
Chechen Separatists have long been aligned with al Qaeda.
Al Qaeda views the Islamic struggle in Chechnya as being on a par of importance with the war in Afghanistan and the revolution in Syria.
Tamerlan had been investigated for his possible involvement with Islamic Radicals in Chechnya.
At the request of the Russian government the by FBI interviewed him in 2011.
Tamerlan visited Russia for 6 months starting in January 2012 and is believed to have been in contact with terrorists there. Including possibly having met with a Chechen terrorist who has since been killed.
Somewhere one or both of them learned how to build bombs, according to the CIA such knowledge is very hard to learn effectively off internet instructional sites.
Both brothers had links off of various Russian language web sites to terrorist organizations including al Qaeda and the "Caucasian Emirates" aka CE, but not on Facebook.
Tamerlan was a fan of a well known extremely radical Australian Cleric Sheik Feiz Mohammed.
Additional bombs were found at one of the bombers home and as well as in his car. Additional attacks were likely planned.

Does all of this mean they likely did the bombing because of: their feelings about Islam, their support of the Chechen cause and their demonstrated belief in Jihad? To think otherwise denies logic and history.

Just imagine how willing many would be to accept the notion of these perpetrators being Christian Radicals if the information above was as supportive of that conclusion. The media would be stumbling over itself to announce the headlines.

Did the older brother Tamerlan influence his younger brother Dzhokhar into being involved? I couldn't care less..by all indications he was there, that is all that counts.

Now that they have caught Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, we need to think about why he did it with his now dead brother. He is being taken to a Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge , Massachusetts hospital, he is "very bloody"

Before jumping to any conclusions about a possible motive, we all need to sit back and relax..After all jumping to conclusions is very unfair.

So Far No One Knows WHY...Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and His Brother Killed and Bombed

Today, before this evening's arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, we learned the two men "believed" to be responsible for the murderous Boston Marathon Bombing this past week happen to be devout Muslims.

We've learned they are brothers and Chechen Sunni's who are "very religious". They have been identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (19) (pronounced "ja-haar") and Tamerlan Tsarnaev (26). According to family members they have recently been particularly observant of Islamic rules...Tamerlane died in a shoot-out last night with police after reportedly killing an MIT policeman and a carjacking.

I know what many of you are thinking, "is this guy going to go into some long winded Right Wing anti Muslim rant about Islamic Terrorists and the Boston Bombings being connected to Jihad and al Qaeda".. Nope, not me that would be intolerant.

Why would I do that? It never entered my mind. Being judgmental about radical Islamist's offends people. Its offensive even when a few hundred people get hurt and some killed by multiple bomb blasts made from weapons illustrated on a Jihadist websites. Placing the blame on the religion and not the individual is just pure bigotry. Shame on any of you for drawing those kinds of conclusions.

Setting off two bombs in close proximity to one another to maximize damage is in most places a hallmark of a Terrorist attack. However blaming it on Islam, when its done by devout Muslims is just unfair.

Before anyone should jump to any conclusions about a reason for such behavior they should think about all of the possibilities. Perhaps these two guys did it in solidarity as a protest statement about the recent Gun Bills in DC, perhaps it was to protest those who would undermine a woman's right to choose. Maybe they were really upset about China's mistreatment of the Dali Lama, it could be almost anything. The world has a lot of issues which could get people upset enough to kill and maim spectators at a sporting event.

The very idea of connecting a mindless bombing against women and children in a public place is just one of those things all kinds of people do all the time. Sure I know some narrow minded thinkers would make a long list of similar attacks around the world by other Muslim Jihadists who later took credit. Sure they have set off bombs in public markets, train stations, Christian Churches , Mosques, open air cafe's and public buildings. Yeah, they've done all of that. But THIS time it could be very different, it could be completely unrelated to a radicalized Islamist.

Even the father of these boys suggested they may have been radicalized or influenced by Americans to do such a thing.. The brain trust Chris Mathews might have given us all the answer already, "right wing Christian fanatics". Maybe those Right Wing Christians turned the brothers into killers. Its POSSIBLE!!

Instead of placing judgmental blame on a Muslim who kills in a terrorist act by saying he was driven by his/her religious views and hatred of nonbelievers, isn't it much better to say, the person had a break of some kind and committed a horrific act..Oh he just happens to be a Muslim, that's much nicer and a very progressive approach.

A Case In Point, Workplace Violence at Ft. Hood

A few years ago U.S. Army doctor Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shot and killed 13 people at Fort Hood, it was in the news. Now he was a Muslim, he was a very devout Muslim and yes he had made threats in connection with his fundamentalist views towards fellow soldiers. Sure he screamed "Allah akbar" (God IS Great) as he opened fire. But, all of that had nothing to do with his behavior. He wasn't even charged with committing a terrorist act. As a matter of fact the Judge limited a terrorism expert's involvement saying he could only answer questions...of "testimony regarding contextual analysis and definitions, but not for 'profile' testimony,". In the end he was convicted and it was simply a case of workplace violence. So in the end it wasn't his religion, he was just upset about something else, though they never figured out what the "other thing" was.

So until we know more, we should all wait, give him a fair trial, then hang him.

Instead they should be treated the same as any mentally incompetent person is treated, whether they want it or not. After all, they by definition can not make rational decisions. As has been proven time and again by all of the bloodshed associated with their having the "Equal Rights" of a rational person.

They key driving all of it has been the argument using medications instead of institutionalization. Its been a cruel trick and a deceptive one to now turn around when faced with this complete failure to manipulate the victims into backing Gun Control as the issue. It's simply a lie.

As Rahm Emanuel once said, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

For the cadre of Liberals wanting to ban ALL guns, nothing has been better as a starting point strategy for the cause than Columbine, Aurora, Gabby Giffords and Newtown. Bring on the VICTIMS!! while ignoring the singular real causal thread between all of these events. They were all insane and being ignored by the system.

A Broken Mental Health System Enabled These Murderer's To Act.

The fact is, in both the Giffords shooting and Newtown the killers were decidedly mentally ill and their conditions were well known by virtually anyone who knew them. Apparently the same holds true for the Aurora Colorado shooter James Eagan Holmes who had sought help for his emotional problems long before he went on his rampage. All of these killers were mentally ill first and should have been diagnosed, under treatment and under lock and key by court orders long before they could do what they did.

Jared Loughner Insane and Ignored for Years

In the case of Lanza his behavior was alarming enough his mother was contemplating MOVING to another state to get the kid treated.

Loughner's behavior had become so erratic and dangerous his parents would disable the cars at night to try and keep him off the streets. He was completely out of his mind, the local Sheriff's department refused to act despite his making threats to kill, out of concern for Political repercussions from a family member who worked for the county.

As has been disclosed in piles of reports in the Giffords case by the FBI Jared Loughner's mental health problems were deep, frightening and went back almost 10 years.

The reality is, the system that was once in place to treat people who are paranoid schizophrenics suffering from depression like Loughner were gone. They had long since been dismantled and underfunded by Liberals in an attempt to create an open loving and kind society for all people. All of it based on fuzzy notions by misguided social workers and Psychologists. The killing of 13 people and the Giffords shooting itself was totally preventable had those old fashioned mental hospitals been left in tact. He would have been locked up and controlled and 13 people would be alive. As would the victims of Aurora and Newtown.

Where Are The Mentally Disturbed Now?

Today hundreds of thousands of deeply disturbed mentally ill folks have been "mainstreamed" into community's while many more go un-diagnosed or controlled. All because the Liberal left agenda on Mental health treatment has tried to rely on medications and "community support"...while abandoning the Institutionalization of the , dare I say it, The Insane. This has been going on since the 1950's and accelerated during the 1970's and has been an utter disaster.

Today using the word Insane is of course not a Politically Correct thing to say, as many on the loony left view the term as almost a form of racism or indicating a prejudice towards another. This is of course rubbish and is no more valid than decrying a person being called a Diabetic or a Cancer Patient.

What Happens In America Today With mentally Unstable People?

They now live often in "transitional homes" throughout neighborhoods around the country or have been often thrust back into their familial homes and being cared for by ill-trained family members who have no idea what to do or how to do it, at everyone else's peril. Or they are simply never treated or diagnosed due to fears of civil rights violations. While state after state have been closing mental Hospitals and Asylums one after another for decades in exchange for treatment by medication and housing them most often in unrestricted residential settings. While claiming its been done to improve the "Quality of Care", the argument is just an excuse to save money in State and Federal budgets.

The rest end up often committing crimes, get convicted and put in prison hospitals or some spare bed in whats left of a Mental Hospital with a secured wing. ..

Well we got what we didn't pay for...Penny Wise IS Pound Foolish.
