iLASIK Procedure

Eyes are one of the most vital parts of our face. It lets us see the beauty of nature and the world. We also communicate with other people through our eyes.

Almost all my relatives from my father side are myopic. I had 350/200 eye grade and I thought that it was the end of the world for me, due to the fact that my eye grade increased every year since I was 12 years old. Thus, I was myopic, too, until I underwent eye laser surgery.

LASIK technology is the newest breakthrough in eye laser surgery. Some people are afraid to go through with the eye laser surgery due to lack of understanding of the procedure.

The procedure for the surgery is easy and it is painless. Many people are good candidates for the iLasik procedure. One must be 21years old and above, must be in good health, have had a stable vision prescription for a year and have no existing eye disease.

Even the NASA and US military personnel have underwent the procedure and they encourage other people to do the same.

The modern Lasik now uses two lasers instead of one. The procedure is clinically proven safe and the result is excellent.

Sometimes we just do not know what attracts us to the opposite sex. Others are just plain looking but they have a huge impact on us. There are group of people who studies the face and what makes a person attractive physically.

They have a website which is called Perception Laboratory. It lets us upload our very own pics into their server and then in one click, we will see what we would look like in the future and what you looked like in the past.

It is an experiment on what makes a person attractive for us. It studies facial symmetry and facial ageing.

All people want privacy. Even the movie stars would really like to have that but since they are popular, people know their moves. Celebrities sometimes resort to disguising themselves but they are not successful at it.

On Page Rank and SEO

I got my Page Rank 3 again for my other blog! I lost it when I transferred to my own domain name. I did not know what to do then, to regain it, but now, it came back.

I do not know where I should attribute it. Is it because I changed my blog template? Or is it because I updated my meta tags? Whatever the reason is, I am thankful for it.

Since I mentioned Page Rank, might as well talk about SEO.

Many techie people are talking about SEO over the internet. SEO means Search Engine Optimization. A SEO expert could make money because website owners are trying hard to be on the top place in the search engine list.

Any web design can be made can be made into a SEO design. SEO layout is basically just having your source code ordered with your article or content first instead of the menus, headers, ads and different widgets, so that in this way, search engines especially Google, could see your content first when they scan your site. Valid codes helps slightly as well like the meta tags. But it should be noted that meta tags will become a passe' in the future.

With regards to your content, keywords and keywords phrases must be used throughout your content, titles, and alt tags.

Let us add more keywords to our articles so that search engines could find our site faster. Do not just add any keyword. Research over the internet what keywords you should use when writing contents. And be consistent. Like if your site is about romance, write articles about romance. And do not link to other blogs or sites that do not have anything to do with your blog. If your blog is about food, you should not link to sites about romance because it won't do any good to both of your blogs. Do not think of blogs that has the same category as your blog as a competitor. "Piggy ride" on their popularity, that is, have an exchange link with them. In that way, you are helping each other.

There is a saying in SEO books that "Content is King."

Tight security is being imposed at Birmingham’s National sea life Center in Britain to protect a giant sea snail.

The giant zebra snail or Melo melo measures 20 times the size of the usual British garden snail.

The snail produces rare and valuable pearl that can be fetched anything from 5,000 to 30,000pounds each.

The snail can make any object that gets inside its shell a pearl and the biggest recorded pearl that it made was the size of a golf-ball.

Mr. Graham Burrows, the curator of the aquarium / museum said that they need to be vigilant because some unscrupulous people might attempt to kidnap the snail hoping that its shell contains hidden treasure. There were also CCTVs installed in the different areas of the vicinity for additional security measures.

Price of Crude Oil

The price of crude oil has gone down from $140.00 per barrel to $102.50. It is very interesting to note that when the price of oil increases, the price of gas immediately increases but why it is that when it goes down, the price of gas does not immediately decrease?

The decrease on price of oil was due to the oversupply of it and also the fact that the US has cut down its demand of crude oil due to the slowing economic growth.

To date, the price this year of crude oil ranges from 90.05 - 146.50.

Social Networking helps us to get to know other people. Almost everybody has a social networking account. It makes us feel so alive. Maybe that is the reason why most of us is hooked on making testimonials, uploading photos and editing profiles every now and then, in our social networking account.

Most of these social networking sites accept only 18 year olds and above. There is no limit when it comes to age.

In Facebook, the oldest member is a 102 year old woman named Ivy Bean who is from West Yorks, UK.

Ms. Bean was former mill worker said that she uses the site to keep track and up to date with her friends and relatives. Her grandchildren introduced her to Facebook and now she is posting some photos, videos and events that is going on in her life.

She is slightly deaf but has more than 5,300 friends and fans listed on her including her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is helped by family members to keep her page up-to-date.

Swedish Wrestler Threw Bronze Medal

Ara Abrahamian was so angry at the outcome of his game with an Italian wrestler named Andrea Minguzzi.

Abrahamian took the medal from his neck. stepped from the podium, then, threw it down on the mat, on which he played earlier, his greco-roman bronze medal. He said that he does not care about the medal he won. Instead, he protested that he want gold and announced, also, that he was quitting the sport.

As the Swedish fans of Abrahanian was booieng the officials, the wrestler shouted at the judges and referees. He, then, went to where they seat to speak up close to them. His teammates were restraining him that he might do something "physical" as he was protesting to the officials.

The wrestler was saying that his loss was totally unjustified since his friends called him just 20 minutes before the competition, begging him to compete.

Is he saying that he was not prepared? What if his teammates would beg him like an hour before the competition and he lose? Okay, what if a month before and he lost, would he still be as bitter?

His coach Leo Myllari said that Abrahamian lost due to politics.

Abrahamian was a silver medalist at Athens 2004 and he was eyeing for gold at Beijing Olympics but he only got bronze.

Is this his closing curtain and how he wanted to be remembered, since he said that the said event was his last match?

He will now be known as "Ara Bitter"

Do you know what the unofficial sport in Beijing 2008 Olympics is? The answer is Sex.
100,000 free condoms are being given away to the 10,500 delegates to protect them of sexually transmitted diseases. If we divide it, there would be 9 condoms for each athlete.

Along with the condoms being given are sex education pamphlets in different languages.

The condoms were donated by China Reproductive Health Industry Association.

It is good to know that the Olympic Committee is protecting not only the Olympic delegates but their sexual health as well.

Could you define what Music is? According to the American Heritage Dictionary, Music is the art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. But there is this blog which defines music way more than what the dictionary say.

Rhythm Junction is a blogsite where the writer is willingly sharing rock music not just a sound coming from the instruments but sound coming from the heart. I must admit that I thought heavy metal music only produce pollution to the ears. To its avid fans, it is like angels coming down from heaven. Truly I can say that every person in this world is unique and we should embrace their uniqueness so that they may understand us as well.

Do not be fooled by the template of Rhythm Junction. It may look simple but when you check out its blog archive, you will definitely agree with me that it is truly a rock music blogsite.

"I Am Rich" iPhone Application

Tom, Dick and Harry or most people who have white collar jobs own the new 3G iPhone. But what could make a real rich person who owns a 3G iPhone different from the rest?
For sure you will be as shocked as I was when I learned that the real rich ones have installed a new application for the iPhone which is called "I Am Rich". Its price is $999.00, and if you want to know what it does, well, it does not do anything! The application only displays a red bright gem! That is it!

The red gem only reminds the owner of the iPhone that he can afford to install it in his phone.

Armin Heinrich, the maker of the program said that the application only marks the owner from the others who doesn't have it installed. Does that mean he is saying that a person who have not installed the "I Am Rich" application poor? it is like, "Hmmm, yeah you have a 3G iPhone but you do not have the $999 application so that means you are not as rich as I am."

When I was new in blogging 3months ago, I was so curious how to remove the blogger bar on top of the header of my blog.

I researched and checked out the source page of other bloggers and I found out that they had pasted the one in the maroon square below to their HTML.

1. Open your Layout
2. Choose Edit HTML
3. Check out the pic below (Copy the words and symbols in the maroon square and paste it in your own template.)
4. Save.
5. Clear Cache.

so if you want also to remove it, do what I did.
