The other day, someone said to Girl that Ribsy was a boring dog.

Good

...good...

Bad

...to bad...

Ugly

...to just plain ugly (but rarely is he ugly, of course, given the fine whippet that he is) - and all other states in between. He's raised hell, run like hell, and slept like hell. 

Whippets have just as much personality, if not more so, than other dogs. You just have to work a little harder to earn it. They don't just give it away for free to everybody. To that person who said Ribsy was boring - fact of the matter is that Ribsy probably found YOU boring.
