Disney Pixar came out with Inside Out not so long ago and it introduced kids and adults everywhere to the complex world of feelings...completely exposed! There is such a wide range of feelings inside of each and everyone of us and learning to cope is not easy. Fast forward some years, and gosh, do those years seem to go by fast, and we are introduced to new feelings in a teenage Riley!

For us Asians, the zodiac animals are a big part of our lives. The year and month we were born dictates which zodiac animal we're aligned with. Our year's fortune or misfortune also depends on the year and our animals. So when I saw the trailer for The Tiger's Apprentice, I thought, OMG, this is so us. Our household is filled with fans of "based on true story" movies so we gravitate to them already. When the trailer came out for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem...I was excited. I really looked forward to this movie because both my husband and I loved watching TMNT as kids. We've watched some of the original movies with our son and it's such fun! So when Mutant Mayhem became available, we knew we definitely needed to get it!

So, it's no secret that I am an absolute bookworm. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that my kids would be raised as such as well. In fact, my kindergartner is such an avid reader and loves reading so much that he's already started reading some books on his own. It's an important part of his daily routine. You've read our posts in the past; you know how much we love our variety and well, as a health-conscious mom, I like the good treat every once in awhile, but I'm all for healthy options for gifts as well! This holiday season, movie buffs will have the opportunity to have the final movie of one of the most iconic, epic adventure movies added to their collection. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the final movie in the series. What's even more amazing is how long Harrison For has been playing the character of Indiana Jones! The initial movie debuted in 1981. My goodness, this whole epic adventure has spanned over 4 decades!

So, the Marvel Universe is such a huge part of our lives. We love all things Marvel. However, Guardians of the Galaxy has always had a soft spot in my heart. I absolutely A-D-O-R-E Rocket and Groot! How could you not?! Plus the other characters are all pretty likeable too. Galaxy Vol. 3. Can you believe it? It was only so long ago that I fell in love with Volume 1 and 2.

Summer is finally here! It's so beautiful, sunny, and warm! Summer activities keep the kids so busy. How do you guys cope and deal? This is our first summer doing activities with our preschooler and it has been hectic running around with work, daycare pick up, meals and getting him to activities in time. They do miss their friends though without school so sometimes, it's nice to see some of them at activities or even sleep overs!

Mario and Luigi, household favorites with my brother and I as we were little. We loved playing our Nintendo Super Mario games. In fact...begged for our first Super Nintendo system from her parents together...with the Super Mario game kit. So, yep, we were definitely going to watch the new Super Mario Movie. We even loved playing Super Mario Kart as we got older, had the Nintendo Gameboy and DS and everything. My preschooler had the ? box shirt before he even knew who Mario and Luigi were. LOL! So yep, my husband and I were super excited to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie!

Spring is in the air!
