2013 Calendars + National Stationery Show

Tomorrow morning we leave at o’ dark hundred for New York City. It will be our first time showing at the National Stationery Show. I’m excited and nervous. I’ll try and remember to take photos of our booth (I’m awful at remembering to take photos. Just ask my kids who have no idea what they looked like on most of their birthdays.) and share when I return. We’ll be introducing our three new Divine Twine colors, Raspberry, Teal and Peach (all in stock late June), plus our 2013 calendars, Patterns and Seasons (in stock August; click on “request re-stock notice” under the photos on our website listings to be notified when they’re available if you’re interested.). If you’re in NYC and attending the National Stationery Show, stop by our booth #1233 and say hi!

Mother’s Day Gift Wrap

I took a quick photo with my phone before I sent my Mom her Mother’s Day Gift. I’m in love with our new Horizontal Striped Middy Bags.

Curious to know what’s inside? A container of this good stuff. I know, not the most feminine gift, but when you suffer from dry and and heels, it’s the perfect gift. I’ve been using it for a couple of months before I go to bed and it’s saving my hand and heels from hurting.

PPS: I used a 1/8″ hole punch to thread the Divine Twine to close the bag. It’s the perfect size hole punch.

Origami Bitty Bag Gift Card Holder

Hi friends! Today, I have a project from design team member Jan Ely to share with you. Jan made this amazing gift card holder with an origami dress on it! The dress is also made from a Bitty Bag. Can you believe that? What a fun way to present a gift to a special lady! This would also be great for giving out bridesmaids gift for a wedding.

New Bitty Bags and Purple too!

We just stocked the shop with our newest addition of Middy Bitty Bags, Horizontal Stripes. I’m groovin’ on the fresh, clean, modern look they offer. Nine pretty colors including purple (see below). They just might be my new fave.

We also added purple to some of our Bitty Bag designs in the Middy size; Chevron, Honeycomb and Horizontal Stripe.

Hi friends! Boy, do I have a treat for you today! Savannah O’Gwynn has whipped up an AMAZING tutorial for you that will knock your socks off. She created an iPhone stand from a Bitty Bag. This is perfect for when you want to use FaceTime and don’t want to hold your phone or if you want to use your phone as a mirror to do your makeup. You can also use this for other phones.

Scrolly Squares Monogram Cards

Hi friends! Today, I have a fabulous project from design team member Kelley Eubanks to share with you. Kelley used our Scrolly Square Labels to make these beautiful monogramed card. These are perfect for sending off a thank you card or any quick note. They are fast to reproduce if you wanted to use them as wedding thank you’s and also easy to mail because they are flat.

Customer Share ~ Sqirl Preserves

We received the nicest email (below) from Jessica Koslow at Sqirl. Check out Sqirl’s yummy organic preserves HERE.

“I’ve been so busy but I wanted to email you back and let you know that I did receive the package the day of the event. We used the packages to make 300 sandwiches for a gallery opening, and the attendees thought it was an art installation and not the actual food! Amazing. After a sign was added, they knew it was the event food and it was great to have a high end product all around — instead of generic fry bags. Love them.”
