BeforeProperties AfterProperties ListItem in Sharepoint Event Receivers

Important while developing sharepoint event receivers.

BTW, I've read a article that said change Element.xml Synchronization to Synchronous, we can get BeforeProperties on List events, but I cannot find this reference now.

I'll make some test to confirm it. (Maybe many days or months later......)

Steps Taken:

Open Health Analyzer and view details
Manage the Visio Graphics Service (SA) and confirm Application ID is empty.
Manage the Secure Store Service (SA) and Generate New Key
Create a New Target Application
Provide a unique ID, name, and contact email. Select Group Type.
Accept default and just click Next
Provide a user name for both fields. I used “DEMOAdmin” as that is the only user on this machine. Click OK.
Enter the Target Application ID back on the Visio Graphics Service (SA) page and click OK.
Go to the Health Analyzer rule, open it and click Reanalyze Now, then you should be ready to go.

Linux crontab 不重覆執行, 前一次若尚在執行則跳過

國內的教學網站大部分都只提到怎麼用crontab,

只有翻到英文與簡中的教學

10 * * * *  flock -xn /tmp/test.lock -c '/home/test/test.sh'

這個範例是crontab裡面有個每個小時的10分啟動的/home/test/test.sh
啟動前會檢查/tmp/test.lock這個檔案, 並將之鎖定
執行完成程式後會將這個檔案解鎖
下一次跑起來如果發現有這個檔案並在鎖定的狀態,
就會失敗, 等到檔案解鎖並到下一次的執行時間才會再啟動

紀錄一下, 不需要再為了同一個功能搞到四點 =.=a

1. 產生元件的code須寫在PreInit()

為了這種鳥問題搞到四點真的不值得....... Orz

Update KB970946後造成,

查詢google後發現WSS3.0升級SP1/SP2也有同樣的問題

應該是微軟的patch更新後有問題造成的

修復方式

方法1. cmd -> psconfig -cmd upgrade -force

修復完成, 所以沒有測試方法2

方法2. cmd -> stsadm -o upgrade -forceupgrade

Kurobox Pro 安裝 Debian 後換新硬碟無法開機

Kurobox裝完UBoot/Debain後, 設定成只使用硬碟及tftp開機,
問題是換了新硬碟之後裝的Debian就沒了
就算刷回原廠Rom, 還是沒法開機 =.=
這篇給自己的memo, 下次希望不要用到 ~"~

這篇的最下面有原始的EM Mode設定方式, 設定完後就可以使用flash開機了

WSS workflow 縮短啟動時間

Central Administration 中 Timer Job Definitions 顯示 Workflow的啟動時間是 Minutes

不過預設是5分鐘才跑一次 =.=a

用下列語法修改成每分鐘跑, 不過要看Server Loading來決定是不是可以縮短

stsadm -o setproperty -propertyname "job-workflow" -propertyvalue "every 1 minutes between 0 and 59" -url http://usl

清Event Cache Table的方法

先前這個方法效果不甚完美,
原先table大概八百萬筆刪還剩七百萬筆...... Orz

找到另外兩個

1. 進 Central Administration -> Application Management -> Web application general settings
設定保留天數, 引用來源裡寫設1天就好, 我比較俗仔留個3天
剛設定上去, 暫時觀察

Change Log
Specify how long entries are kept in the change log.

Delete entries from the change log:

	After days Never

下面這個步驟看起來有一定風險, 需要的人要仔細斟酌一下

2. Central Administration -> Application Management -> Content Databases -> 選擇Database

2.1 複製Database名稱, 等下會用到
2.2 Remove database

Remove Content Database
Use this section to remove a content database from the server farm. When you select the Remove content database check box and click OK, the database is no longer associated with this Web application. Caution: When you remove the content database, any sites listed in that content database are removed from the server farm, but the site data remains in the database.

2.3 用commend line
stsadm.exe -o addcontentdb -url <url> -databasename <database name> -clearchangelog
<url>填站台網址
<database name>就填剛剛複製的database name.

WSS3.0 EventCache超過百萬筆

應該是WSS的bug,
hotfix都上了還是踩到這個洞, 而且已經塞進去的資料也不會砍掉
所以手動來砍

WSS有一堆workflow卡在Starting的,
可以參考一下這個解法.

//秀出workflow-eventdelivery-throttle, 預設是15
stsadm -o getproperty -pn workflow-eventdelivery-throttle

//修改workflow-eventdelivery-throttle, 這個值要根據server的CPU/RAM能力去決定
stsadm -o setproperty -pn workflow-eventdelivery-throttle -pv "25"

這是SPS能夠"同時"啟動的workflow數量

先前沒有找到這解法的時候, 用程式新增item時只能間隔insert, 很蠢.......
