type="html">dis•ap•point•ment --  [dis-uh-point-muh nt]

Disappointment is the feeling of dissatisfaction that follows the failure of expectations to manifest. It is a source of psychological stress. (From Wikipedia)

Disappointment is a subjective response related to the anticipated rewards.[ The psychological results of disappointment vary greatly among individuals; while some recover quickly, others mire in frustration or blame or become depressed

Disappointment quotes:

The pleasure of expecting enjoyment is often greater than that of obtaining it, and the completion of almost every wish is found a disappointment” - Samuel Johnson

Women suffer more from disappointment than men, because they have more of faith and are naturally more credulous. ~ Marguerite de Valois

Hope is itself a species of happiness, and, perhaps, the chief happiness which this world affords: but, like all other pleasures immoderately enjoyed, the excesses of hope must be expiated by pain; and expectations improperly indulged must end in disappointment. ~ Samuel Johnson

HOW TO DEAL WITH DISAPPOINTMENT (from a website)

1. Stop. Calm Down. Give yourself some time. Things might not seem nearly so bad tomorrow.

2. Get your feelings out in a way that doesn't hurt you or anybody else.

3. Talk about it with your parents or a good friend.

4. Ask yourself if this is really worth getting angry or upset about.

5. Think about what you can learn from the experience and how you can do better next time.

6. Don't judge yourself. Failing at something does not mean that you are a failure.

The things above would be applicable if you are the cause of your disappointment. But what if others was the cause of this. How would you deal with it? 

But who is Daniella and what is Issa. According to Wikipedia, inspired by Coco Chanel, Daniella Issa Helayel started making stylish dresses that she could wear for daytime meetings and evening cocktail parties after being unable to find anything that pleased her in the shops. Issa the label was founded in London in 2001 after she was working as a fashion consultant and buyer, and her range of delectable silk print jersey dresses were quickly snapped up by the likes of Madonna, Scarlett Johansson and Naomi Campbell.

Kate has been photographed in various Issa dresses on several occasions and she was once thought to be the “unofficial muse” of the designer and rumored to be receiving dresses for free.

For some reasons i can't seem to upload the ISSA dresses that i saw. Will try that in my next post.

I said what? What the heck is a Linea Pelle bag. I admit I’m not really into brands. And no I don’t desire owning one because I know they are expensive. And to a breadwinner of the family, I would think the cost of the bag would be a big help to my family. But still I would love to browse the net for some designer bags I like that is worn by celebrity. And though I do browse occasionally, I really don’t know the known bag brands.

Here is what i saw in Wikipedia:
Linea Pelle is a company based in Los Angeles, with distribution in Japan, Germany, and Canada, which sells handbags, men’s and women’s belts, and accessories. According to Walker’s Research it has fewer than 25 employees and sales below 10 million.

Linea Pelle also offers chic casual handbags and small leather goods that are available in stores globally. LP belts and handbags are hand crafted from washed Italian leathers which results in a soft feel and a vintage look.

Mira K. Anzaruth, the creative founder of Linea Pelle Collection belts for women, has a diverse background in ready-to-wear design. As a boutique owner of New York’s East 57th Street, Mira saw an opportunity in the accessories market, and the concept of casual luxury belts was born. Creating custom designs with signature detailing and trendsetting style. She insists on using washed Italian leathers with a hand color process and artisan craftsmanship.

Linea Pelle is most famous for soft, slouchy shapes handbags that they come in. These bags are meant for casual, everyday wear yet their intricate little details and high quality leather create unique and distinctive vintage look. Linea Pelle Collection is sold worldwide and has become a favorite among young Hollywood celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton, Tara Reid, Rihanna, Katherine Heigl, and Linsay Lohan. Linea Pelle is also well-known for its high quality of standards in hand-crafted Italian belts. There is a large collection of leather accessories for men and women. No two belts are exactly the same.

And so I went to the website of linea pelle collection, and instantly I fell in love with these bags.

Ricky Medium Tote
I really love this design.. I love studs on buckles and studs on bags. Plus it has a pocket outside which I look for in designs. It can also be converted to a messenger bag since it has a detachable shoulder strap. I can use this on work during weekdays, and on dates during the weekends.
Carmina Villaroel, an actress and host in the Philippines has ventured into shoes business. All were named from her closest friends and relatives. The designs were very modern and most ladies would want to wear it. There were few flat shoes, and here is the one that I liked.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mkvTqF9UU0k/TMbGMpY8ElI/AAAAAAAAAJI/AuJfWS_HV8s/s400/antonia.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532327112842416722" />

Shoes name is Antonia.

Prices of her shoes ranges from around P1,700 to around P2,800 though I think I saw one at P4,500. There were no shoes that have kitten heels (of course!) and all of it have more than 4 inches I think. I like the shoes she named from one of my favorite actress and host, Gelli de Belen.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mkvTqF9UU0k/TMbGePHedVI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/k13q7gu0vos/s400/gianelli_black+or+brown.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532327415027496274" />

That is Gianelli, available in brown and black.

Then my favorite of them all which I am thinking of ordering.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mkvTqF9UU0k/TMbGsZXLSYI/AAAAAAAAAJY/ykbKiPifMVs/s400/bianca.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532327658295871874" />

Her name is Bianca. I like the heels, I like net like design and the loop strap. I hope I will made up my mind to order it, because I heard ladies are going gaga and they are only producing limited quantity. I just don’t know if the shoes is comfortable though since no one can attest to that since the brand is fairly new.

So ladies try to check out the shoes at http://www.munizshoes.com/. I like that that Carmina herself is modeling the shoes. Yes, it has some exciting parts and you wouldn’t want to wait till the next scenes. I’ve read some reviews that the author injected some humor but then, it’s either I don’t have the sense of humor, or I do not share the part.

Basically the story is really about eating in Italy, Praying in India and Finding love in Indonesia. But her storytelling for me was a bit dragging. There she is writing about the food, how good it looks and hot tasty and yummy it was. But when I was reading it, I was having a hard time picture the food. I cannot imagine it being tasty from her description.

Don’t shoot me! I don’t have anything against the author. In fact when I saw the trailer of its movie version starring Julia Roberts, and found out that it was a book, I went to a bookstore and bought the book. But then it took me two weeks to finish it. If not for the popularity of the book, and the movie, I would not finish the book, but I wanted to compare the movie and the book eventually. Usually when I find an interesting book, I just finish it less than a week, sometimes in just 2 nights, but it surprise me to see that I have been reading it for two weeks.

I found the pray part the most dragging and boring part of the book. Maybe because I don’t do yoga that I didn’t appreciate it. On the other hand, I’m thinking that if it is written nicely, I would be enticed to try yoga. One interesting part for me was the character of Richard from Texas as well as that guy from New Zealand who gave her the key to that place where he eventually “talked” with his husband. It was exciting for me to read a mentioned of a Filipino in her class; too bad that’s just about it. Well I know several people, friends and celebrities into yoga, so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone went to India to go and do it there.

I only found a few interesting things about her story in Bali, but I felt like I wanted to stop her for giving that much money to that mother and daughter. But I found the kid interesting. It also amazed me how she was able to raise that much money. It was interesting to see that she found somebody to love in Bali. Would I buy the 2nd book that talks about that? Nah.. I would probably just go to the bookstore and read the last few pages to see the ending.

The movie is another story. I hope to catch it one of these days.

Truly fit for the King Of Pop. Brooke Shields who have known MJ since she was 13 tells of her memories with the Pop Icon. Mentioning that his favorite song is not any of his song, but "Smile" i think from Charlie Chaplin. I was in tears by the time she finished her speech. Magic Johnson's speech was funny relieving his reaction to know that MJ love KFC chicken. Very nice to know one of the funny side of Michael. And of course, it was a very good exposure to KFC. I love Will you be there by Jennifer Hudson who is glowing in white. As well as the kid from Britain, Shaneen. Maybe they saw Michael in him when he was young, that is why he was invited. Again, I was in tears when User sang Gone too soon, and when Stevie Wonder performed.

But i think there were two memorable moments on the funeral. When Jermaine Jackson sang "Smile" and when Paris, the daughter spoke. It was really touching, stabs your heart into pieces, makes you broke down in tears. She said, "Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just want to say that I love him so much."

It was just so sad.

We fancy wedding gowns, those flowing trains and trails, those lace and tulle. Even as grown up, I still love to look at wedding gowns. With the advent of internet, I get to see lots and lots of styles to choose from. Though I know my choice would still change when I finally started fitting and talking to designers and all, I still fancy a wedding gown with either a bolero or a shrug. So far here are some of the ones I like.

<img style="cursor:pointer; In fact, I even requested it to my favorite radio station and they have it played. As I am listening to it, I just learned the news that an old friend in the office is resigning. She came in my area and base on her current situation and predicament, resignation is the best option. As David Cook is saying he’s love to his brother is permanent, here I am thinking why there is nothing permanent. Last month, two best friends from work also left the company, just a week ago, I just received goodbye from a friend, same company again. I am at my 7th year, just had my 6th anniversary last April. Friends who have left are on the 6-7th year length of stay. Am I missing something? Is there a pattern? When you are on the same length of stay and all your friends are leaving, while for some time you are also feeling restless is it best to stay? But there are other factors to think of, family you support, finances, present economic situation, plus the thought that you are not sure what the culture is in the next company you work for.

I just hope I would survive this journey… then it would be my time to change my status to other than permanent.

Michael Jackson

He left us already. The King of Pop is already gone. He died reportedly of cardiac arrest. Everyone I knew felt sad. There are news all over. It even shadowed the death of Farrah Fawcett (God bless her soul). All the stars are paying their respect and tribute. Everybody has kind words. He left us with a legacy of music. Almost every pop idol we know idolizes him. They all dance like he dance. Their music is patterned with his. There are even some who have jacket like his. And now he is gone. His music, his voice, his dance moves, and even what their called "wackoness" would still be left with us.

I just hope no one would ride with his popularity. I know for sure all his albums and cd's would be sold out. People would want to relive his music. If there are shirts or items about him would be sold out in minutes. People are like that. They realize your value when you are gone. Award giving bodies would put him in Hall of Fame now.

Let's pray for his family. Most especially his children. Everything he did in the past would be buried now. Not the time to take out the skeletons in the closet.

Let's continue to live with his music. Continue to love his voice. Continue to adore his dance moves.

Together let's pray for his soul. For the King of Pop was finally called to the Kingdom of God.

So we went to scout resorts in Laiya, we originally wanted to go to Kabayan Resort since we wanted to cook our own food, but then they the beach is rented by one company so we had our next pick, which is La Luz resort. We paid reservations and also rented a van as our transportation.

So we met in front of our office in Makati and leave at around 5am. Pick one member in Petron alabang, and then we went to Petron in South expressway to pick another member and also to buy some breakfast. We already had a list of our orders, after we gave our orders, the crew said that they didnt have burgers. So we again scrabble to take the orders of those who originally wanted burgers. Naturally, it would take long since others would still think of what they want. We have taken some time to finish our order. We then notice a woman get past us, walk by the next window where you will be paying. As we past her there, so said to us in an angry voice, "Next time, please list your orders!" well we had our list, it's just that Mcdo didnt have most of the items on our list so we had to think of another order. So off we went to Laluz, we arrive at around 830am. Laluz was at the end of the long line of resorts in Laiya San Juan Batangas. The resort looks nice, we are just there on a day trip. They gave us welcome drinks, but then again since the drive is around 3 hours, my friends and I went to the comfort room first. So we never get our welcome drink since when we came back they are also in our cabana. They gave us once cabana, since only one name was in the reservation. After resting for a few minutes, some of us changed into our swimwear, while the others setup their camera being photographers.

Three of us went to check the water, but high waves prevented us to even get near the water. The water looks too deep because of the waves. So we then went to explore the beach on the side. And there we saw rocks and a knee deep water. We asked to guard if we could swim there and he said we can, we just have to be careful with the rocks since it is slippery. We even joke the guard if he would save us, but he said he can always call the lifeguard since he has a radio.

We went to the water and on the other side of one big rock was a girl and a boy swimming there, upon seeing us, they went to the other big rock. :) We invaded their privacy. Well we cant do anything for that since we wanted to swim in that area. Since we are not swimmers, so the knee deep water is just fine with ours. Our other friends eventually went to were we are and we finally had our pics taken. I even dropped my goggles because I almost slipped in one rock. Good thing, there are kids who swim very good and I asked if they could check my goggles, and behold, they found it. I gave them P20 for their effort.

We said that we would just swim until 10am, but we didnt notice the time, she we enjoyed the waves in the rocks. When we came back, we just wait for around 10minutes and then we had our lunch buffet. Food was just fine, there is a fish (taste bland) , pork (grilled), veggies (sayote with shrimp), and soup is sinigang which is too hot (from chili) and have the fat of the pork, plus the fact that it does not taste pork sinigang because instead of kangkong it had mustasa. Desert was sweeten banana with sago and kaong. Mango juice and water was provided. Since the juice was not cold, we asked for buckets of ice.

I just didn't like their public rest room and shower. Since we are on day trip, we didnt have a room and we had to use the public rest room. They had tissue, but they dont have soap or liquid soap. It stinks, and there are only 3 shower area on the same comfort room. One shower area, dont have a place to put your bag and things.

While the others had their session on landscape photography on the rocks, some of us just rest on the cabana and take some nap, i rest on one near the beach, just like what is the picture above, took out some paper works, and read. I was able to take few minutes nap and then read again. Well since I really love looking at the beach, i was able to think straight, manage to plan some things at work, and finally write some things.

We then saw that it is low tide, but still with big waves, we finally went near the shore and play with the waves again. After we took our merienda consists of pansit bihon (went 2x), chicken sandwich, puto kutsinta and iced tea.

We then took our shower, dressed up and had some group pics before we go home. We left before 6pm but then again, it was super duper traffic in Alabang that we got at around 9pm in Makati. I finally got home to Cavite at around 11pm.

Overall it's just a fine day, to relax. I would recommend that since it is 3 hours drive, to spend an overnight instead of a day trip to spend more time to other activities like snorkelling and more swimming time.

Romulo

My niece asked me to research the life of Carlos P. Romulo for her class assignment. I said that he is the first Filipino to be a Secretary General of the United Nations, (to which I found out later I was wrong) that’s it, because that is what I know of him. My niece then asked me a very innocent question, “United Nation? So he is Mr. Philippines there, when was that?” I smiled. I know I had to research more, so I could give a very definite answer to my niece. So on a very hot Saturday, I went to my old house (since PLDT have not approved the transfer of my phone and DSL) to do research.

Born Carlos Peña Romulo on January 14, 1899 in Camiling Tarlac. He is a son of a former Governor and was married twice. He was a diplomat, politician, soldier, journalist and writer. He held several positions in different newspaper and publications. He graduated from University of the Philippines – Bachelor of Arts (1918); and Master of Arts from Columbia University (1921). He had 82 honorary degrees from different international institution and universities such as Notre Dame University (1935); Rolins College (1946); University of Athens Greece (1948) and Harvard University (1950).

He served eight Presidents of the Philippines from Manuel L. Quezon to Ferdinand Marcos either as a member of the cabinet or as the country’s representative to the United States and United Nations.

He was the first Asian to win Pulitzer Prize in 1942. He wrote 18 books; The United, I walked with Heroes, I Saw the Fall of the Philippines, among others.

Among notable anecdotes on him:
At the third UN General Assembly, held in Paris in 1948, the USSR’s deputy foreign minister, Andrei Vishinsky, sneered at Romulo and challenged his credentials: “You are just a little man from a little country.” “It is the duty of the little Davids of this world,” cried Rómulo, “to fling the pebbles of truth in the eyes of the blustering Goliaths and force them to behave!”

When the UN official seal, which depicts the world, was being selected, Romy looked it over and demanded, “where is the Philippines?” “It’s too small to include,” explained US Senator Warren Austin, who headed the committee. “If we put in the Philippines it would be no more than a dot.” “I want that dot!” Romy insisted. Today, if you look at the UN seal, you will find a tiny dot between the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea.

In later years, Romulo told another story himself about a meeting with MacArthur and other tall American generals who disparaged his physical stature. "Gentlemen," he declared, "When you say something like that, you make me feel like a dime among nickels."

In 1945 Rómulo acted as Philippine delegate to the United Nations Organization Conference in San Francisco. He was Philippine ambassador to the United Nations from 1946 to 1954. He distinguished himself as the first Asian to become president of the UN General Assembly (Fourth Session, Sept. 20, 1949). In 1950-1951 Rómulo acted as secretary of foreign affairs of the Philippine Republic and, from 1952 on (with some interruptions), as Philippine ambassador to the United States. He was a candidate for the position of United Nations Secretary-General in 1953, but did not win.

In 1980, he was extolled by United Nations Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim as "Mr. United Nations" for his valuable services to the United Nations and his dedication to freedom and world peace. He died at the age of 86 on December 15, 1985 and was buried at the Heroes’ Cemetery.
Source: Wikipedia, Panitikan.net, Answers.com, Un.org

With the group gone to different Asian countries to perform their songs where all the girls loved them. Japan followed the adaptation but it was not that popular as well as the artists selected to play F4, they said that the story lacks the quality that made people love Meteor Garden. This time around, the Korean adaptation shows very much like or to some, surpass the popularity and number of fans Meteor Garden have.

With Boys over flower, they changed the way the girl lead, Geum Jan-Di came in to the school plus they added some things that don’t have in Meteor Garden. Just the same, all the F4 boys are real cute, this time, the male lead Gu Jun Pyo has a curly hair and is so cute! If you look at him for long, you would notice some similarities on his features and that of Jerry Yan. He also has the look and smile that Jerry has so girls easily fall for him too. Another male lead and member of F4 vying for a spot in Jan Di’s heart is Yoon Ji Hoo. He doesn’t have the good looks that Vic Zhou had but he have the same charm that would make girls go gagah for him. In fact, I saw in the news that some fans celebrated his birthday in one restaurant. I think it was their first org gathering or eyeball of some sort. The other two members So Yi Jun and Song Woo Bin are equally cute themselves.

It was previously slotted on a late primetime slot, so with the late time I come home I get to watch the series. However because of a huge demand, the network made it to an early primetime slot. The series is very nice, when I got home early I get to watch some episodes. And I really really love it. Most of the episodes are funny, especially the when either Jun Pyo or Jan-Di is angry or the time they are fighting.

I definitely love this series. I hope they would replay it every weekend so I could watch those episodes I missed. It’s fun to watch and would make you feel like a teenager again falling for your crush!!!

I love Jerry Yan in Meteor Garden (everybody loves him!) and Wu Chun in Hana Kimi. I was able to watch few of the starting episodes and I became hook on the story. Jerry Yan is still “guapo” and his very cute look and smile. I’m beginning to fall from him again. The other guy, Alan Lou is not that cute in the beginning but when you stare at him for long his cuteness would show. I also love how he projects his role. L I also love the face of the two girls, the Coach and the one that both Jerry and Alan like. I didn’t get to see Wu Chun though, since I only get to watch the early part. I have to return to work after a few days off I was not able to watch the series again. <sigh.> However since I was on leave last Monday, I was able to watch the series again. I found out that tomorrow will be the last airing day. It's a very gay cover, with all his signature look. Black shirt, metal belt and dark eyeliner. He even have a snake on this thigh. To quote “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” Lambert says in the new issue of Rolling Stone, hitting newsstands this week. I bought the VCD a year ago, but then again I never got the chance to watch it. Just recently I receive a portable DVD player as a gift. So I've checked all the CDs, VCDs, and DVD that i have and chance upon Meet Joe Black. I admit I was intrigued with this movie before and since it was on sale I bought it even though I know the chance to watch it is very slim.

The movie was very nice. Dealing with death, love and betrayal. I love the three main characters and actors. Brad Pitt as Joe, Anthony Hopkins as Bill and Claire Forlani as Susan - Bill's daughter. It was refreshing to see an very angelic face of Brad Pitt, and I love Claire Forlani's face especially when she smiles and the way she pouts her lips. It was a first Anthony Hopkins movie that I saw. No, I haven't seen Silence of the Lamb nor will I watch Hannibal. But I must say, I was very impressed with his casual delivery of lines yet you feel the intensity and the feelings he is trying to expressed and convey.

This movie thought me something about love. To quote Bill Parrish "Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? Fall head over heels. I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived. " Many people nowadays marry for all the wrong reasons that is why they end their marriage with a very simple reason - irreconcilable differences. Because either one does not want to compromise, communication is lacking in their relationship, respect is not given and love is not in abundance.

Another lesson learn is about caring for others. "I knew I wasn't going to write the great American novel, but I also knew there was more to life than buying something for a dollar and selling it for two" by Bill Parrish when saying he doesn't want to sell his company to Bontecou. Saying he is not after the profit, but what he wanted and not exploit the company at the expense of others. Sure he is rich, but he doesn't want to become richer just for having another profit. Do the businessmen of today have the same idealism that Bill Parrish had? I hope many still have.

One last quote I really love is again from Bill Parrish "tell you my one candle wish: that you would have a life, as lucky as mine where you can wake up one morning and say, "I don't want anything more." How selfless he is wishing for others on his birthday.

I wished that before I reached my 65th birthday, I would wakeup and say I don't want anything more but for others to be having the same.

It is a source of psychological stress. Disappointment is a subjective response related to the anticipated rewards. The psychological results of disappointment vary greatly among individuals; while some recover quickly; others mire in frustration or blame or become depressed.”

No wonder there are a lot of depressed people. Imagine being excited for something else, thinking about it the whole time. Always checking the time so it would happen, feeling that “happiness” within you. Anticipating that something good will come your way. Telling people around you about it, most of the time bragging about it. But then when the time came, bwalah! It didn’t happen; something came that disrupt the process. Suddenly Mother Nature was against you. All the excitement, the high energy that lifts you up, the happiness within you, all of it, evaporated in mid air in just one pop! It must be the feeling when dementors came near you to suck your happiness. And now what’s left of you, but pain, hurt, anger, negative thoughts coming all over you. Swearing the world, cursing people, blaming everybody.

I was very excited to have my 15minutes of massage. That is something I wanted to do for ages. Ever since the work stress became a heavy burden. Something you wanted to take off your chest. It’s like a load you carry on your shoulders. I was so excited when I came in after lunch reading the email from our HR about the free massage since there are 4 blind masseurs invited to come to the office. I said, finally! Even if I’m not in an air-conditioned room or lying in a soft bed, at least I get to relieve stress. I excitedly sign in; I was the 3rd on the list of the 2nd masseuse. I went on my scheduled time, but then again, they are not yet finished. I don’t want to stand there waiting for it to finish since I don’t want the masseurs to feel the pressure to end the current session because the next one is already waiting. I came back after 5 minutes and they are not yet finished, after 5 minutes I came back. And lo! Another one has taken my place. Talk about list, talk about schedule, talk about the time. Wooo!!! When do we learn about courtesy? Disappointment rushed into me. Nah, I wouldn’t want to go over there and stand for somebody to finish. I find it rude, there’s a reason why there is a list and why there is a schedule. And now what do I feel? It’s already 40mins after the incident, and still I felt hurt, I feel the pain, and I am disappointed. So now, another stress has been loaded on my back. It now hurts, I know because I am stressed. One day, when my schedule permit or my budget allows, I would have my massage. But not now, because I am disappointed.

“To tell of disappointment and misery, to thicken the darkness of futurity, and perplex the labyrinth of uncertainty, has been always a delicious employment of the poets” – Samuel Johnson

With that special box and packaging, it surely is a lovely gift.

From Wikipedia: "Ferrero Rocher is a spherical chocolate sweet made by Italian chocolatier Ferrero SpA, the producer of Tic Tac and Nutella. I wanted just a small business because I wanted to watch it grow and become big. Plus the fact that I only has small savings so that means only small capital. The most likely option is franchising. The business already has a name in the market and with the marketing approach as advertised by the franchisor. Most of the franchise package includes the use of business name and logo, training to staff, marketing strategy and approaches plus minimum materials or amount of products. The problem then is what franchise to choose. Since it is the likely option, most people are into it. Almost all the products are in the most populated area. You don’t have any place to put it.

Anyways, on my way to work yesterday I found a building that is being constructed, it would most likely be a mall and I came upon the idea of franchising. And then I have the same dilemma again. What franchise to choose? Would I have the time to manage it? I am a full-time employee. And I only commute to and from work. Work is 2-3 hours away from home. Aahhhh… I wanted to put up my own business. Have to work on it someday…
