Offered for sale is a 1976 Glen Pray Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. One of the 89 built. This car came in on trade on a 1930 Piece Arrow. I was going to sell the car before I did any enhancements, but because I have owned four of the 89 Boat Tails and I enjoy working on them so much, I decided to go through the car and restore as needed.

I have rechromed the bumpers, the fender tips, the outside step plates the hood strut rods, and many other small parts to make the car perfect. The car has all of its paint work done. All of the Phillips screws and fasteners have been replaced with polished stainless steel and correct oval headed slotted as I want the car to look as much like a real one as it can. Even the escusion around the shifter is new.

The engine has only 16,000 miles on it and the buyer is welcome to talk to the previous owner. The car runs perfectly with new plugs, engine detailed, has Edelbrock high rise manifold, and Edelbrock AFB carberator. We removed the exhaust headers, bead blasted and painted them with Eastwood high temp. paint. Calibers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake pads and shoes are all new. The exhaust system, including mufflers, are all new. Wheels are painted California red with new beauty rings and a new set of Radials from Coker Tire. Even the license plate light is brand new.

The interior will be done in lipstick red Mercedes leather that was purchased from Bill Hirsch and will have entirely new red leather interior and it was taken to the upholster on July 30th. The top will be new biscuit colored Hartz cloth from Bill Hirsch as well. Don’t let this one get away.

Rear window curtain will have glass window in lieu of plastic and was ordered from Hampton Coach to the exact measurement of the original 1936 Auburn. Carpets will be replaced in black.

Anyone that buys this car will be required to put $10,000 down and is well to come and visit and look at the car before completion. If you are not satisfied with what we have done and with the car when finished, your money will be returned in full. I do not want to sell any of our cars to anyone that is not 100% pleased.

Transporation to be arranged by the buyer or we can assist. We can also assist with overseas shipping.

Everything on this car has been restored in the Glen Pray manner to stay totally originial and it is a fine example of Glen Pray’s work. There is a Glen Pray club that you can join and I do have the Glen Pray tape that explains the heritage of Glen Pray and it comes with the car.

There will be no regrets with your investment. Call Richard Blomquist of White Glove Collection for any further details. 608-780-8229

This 1934 Nash Ambassador Series 1290 is absolutely original. It is equipped with the very rare fender skirts, dual side mounts and factory radio. All keys work perfectly. Original interior that is in excellent condition. Only a handful of these of exist. The engine has nine main bearings, 322 cubic inch, a Stromberg UUR2 carb., and fires 16 spark plugs on twin ignition. This car was designed by Count Alexis De Sakhnoffsky. This is probably the best example of a 1290 in original condition. Showing only 30,000 actual miles. This car is like a time capsule – it runs like new and doesn’t smoke. All of the glass has been replaced and chrome around all vent windows redone. This is from the zienth of the classic era. It is the most desireable art deco designed car of the period. All spring covers and engine pans are still in place. Nothing to look for, it is all there. This rare vehicle will only appreciate in value. If you are looking for the rarest of the rare this is the one. You may never see another one for sale. Call Richard at the White Glove Collection with questions. 608-780-8229
