The City of Fremantle currently has the following projects out for public comment. Further information is available on links to the website.

Proposed Structure Plan – Swanbourne Street Local Structure Plan – Closes 23/09/2014
The proposed local structure plan applies to the land bounded by Swanbourne Street (west), Knutsford Street (north), Amherst Street (east) and Stevens reserve (south). It also does not include the Western Power substation land or Stevens Reserve. The structure plan proposes development of the above mentioned land for predominantly residential purposes, a portion of mixed use land use and associated public open space.

Proposed plastic bag reduction Local law 2014 – Closes 30/09/2014
The City is seeking comments on the proposed plastic bag reduction local law 2014.

You may have noticed the wonderful decorations at the feast. They were carefully made by community members for the event. We wanted to save them for next year, but they were removed from the park overnight.

If you or someone you know has some of the  please return them so they can decorate next years feast too. You can drop them at 109a Samson Street or 41 Watkins Street, no questions asked.
