Kinfolk Community Gathering – Adelaide

The Flower Potluck is a celebration of Spring’s arrival, bringing new and old friends together to delight in the season’s fresh flowers, foliage, and food. We’ll be gathering to learn some simple flower arranging techniques, and to sit at the table amongst fallen petals and cut stems while we enjoy a light Spring-inspired meal.

Come prepared to engage, learn a few new skills, and most importantly, play with nature’s bounty alongside your hosts and other attendees.

Guests are requested to bring a bunch of flowers or greenery to share with everyone(hence, the potluck)—whether from the roadside, the corner store, the backyard, or wild fields: just come with your hands full. The workshop will make use of the collective floral spread for each guest to return home with a new bouquet by the end of the day.

Our theme is inspired by May Day (May 1^st), a holiday devoted to welcoming new springtime growth and warmth. Americans traditionally celebrate this day by anonymously leaving small baskets full on flowers on friends’ doorsteps. We hope guests will be inspired to do the same!

we love traveling for weddings, so it was super exciting to be invited to joe & laura’s wedding in robe. not only is it our favourite beach town in south adelaide but it’s the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding. family, friends & great music really set the tone for a special day, here are a few images from their wedding in robe which is about 3 hours south east of adelaide.

simple and pretty are the best words to describe this day in the adelaide hills. maybe with a few others like fun, lovely and cute as pie thrown in for good measure. trent and ashlea’s wedding in the adelaide hills was full of so much happiness that it was super easy to capture all the sweet smiles and love spilling out between them. the scene was set for both ceremony and reception at the beautiful cottage and garden that is the white house provincial kitchen in hahndorf. how sweet are these two?
