See Page 21 of the 2009 Programme. This change from previous Winter Series "all in starts" was made following representations made at the Meeting of Sailors in 2008.

Will tales of successes ever end…..

To add to WYC success, at the Wanderer Inland Championships at Bewl Valley SC over the weekend, 5 Whitstable boats took part. Extreme conditions on Saturday force 6 to 7, gusting 8 - max windspeed recorded 34 kts.

Mark Skipper and Gavin Barr won the event with 5 "bullets" out of 5. Mark Fagg and Ali Nicolson were 5th, Donna Hender and David Lowes 6th just beating Will Lowes and Ian Hender in 7th! Chris Partington and Amanda were 10th.

Special congratulations to Donna and David for a valiant 2nd place in race 1, sailed in such difficult conditions that only 2 boats finished the race!
