It’s the second P.I.G.S. gathering! And this time, we were going to try Iranian / Persian food. We went to Sufi which was in the middle of no where (yet still within London). The shop owner was really surprised that we went there. I got there earlier than usual cause a few things happened at work that worked in my favour so I was able to leave on time.

The place was quite nice. Looks a lot more posh than it really us. The meat that they served was quite tasty without the really bad meat taste. I can’t lamb usually but this wasn’t bad at all. Company was always great. We didn’t have as much to talk about on my end of the table but then again, that could have been part my fault cause I was too busy snapping away and not really starting conversation. I should have come up with a topic of some sort. I sometimes really need to notice my surroundings more.

After dinner, went home and just dealt with a few things from yesterday. Getting a little tired of everything. I really need to just rest!! I started editing some photos but gave up and took a break. Next thing I know… I’ve crashed on the couch… ARGH… Oh well… Might as well go to bed.

That 1.8kms I did last night was done in vain! So I had to double check with him to find out if he uploaded it after the challenge ended or before…

Turns out that he did it after!! Phew!! My ranking stands… First for the Men, and PinkSam took first for the Women.

So this evening I had a catch up with MissyEm at Café East. But before hand, I got to go to the TummyRubber’s new place!! Nice!! I love their new TV and the open planned space of their lounge room!!! I think I need to declutter again. I just have to work out how I want to do it. I’m sure there’s a way. I think I might actually get rid of the three cheap shelves I bought from Tesco’s ages ago and get two more of the ikea ones. But I haven’t fully decided yet!

Anyway, the pho at Café East was really good today. Maybe I haven’t had it for a while or something, but the soup was good and the noodles were good! The beef is still no where near as good as Mama Pho’s but it wasn’t bad. Had a good catch up! I miss catching up with Em. I should make more of an effort to arrange a catch up. Anyway, afterwards, we walked back to the station and it was pouring! Oh well… I left knowing… NO MORE RUNNING FOR 10 DAYS! WOOOHOOO!!

After I got home… I had some stuff to deal with. A phone call that wouldn’t end for one… and when it did end… terms were not that favourable. Life throws you a lot of curve balls… you just have to deal with them.

I tried to get up to go for a run this morning but I just couldn’t move!! I did take my gear to work though and I at least I ran during my lunch break. However, PinkSam also ran during lunch so we were back to square one. I would have had to do a bloody marathon to take the title if I wanted it. It was crazy! I was already soooo tired!! I needed to rest.

When I got home, I actually crashed. I fell asleep straight away and didn’t get back up until about 8pm. Then I put on my shoes and went for an evening run. I forced myself to do at least enough to beat Quanye. However, I couldn’t… I gave up… and then grabbed a steak from a local restaurant!

Then when I got home for the second time, I realised that I was only about 1.6kms away from the top guy. Damn it! I said to myself… stuff this… and started to browse. Saw the first few pictures of my new niece and said that’s enough for me. Then LL taunts me and I’m like… Crap! I have to go!! So I went… and did 1.8… which didn’t load into the challenge but did on my run. How bizarre!!

What a day… so in the end… The winner was… THE MEN! Woohoo!!! The girls ran valiantly but it wasn’t enough. The men took it by about 50kms. If 5 girls ran 10kms each, it would have been over. We had less runners and we still won!! So pleased!! :D

FARK!! I have no choice… I’m going to run in the rain. So… I told myself I’ll go run to the gym, use the treadmill, and run home. At least that way it won’t be too bad.

The run to the gym wasn’t that bad. The rain was actually quite cooling. When I got there though, I ran into D. He was just doing weights today and not really running. But then SC ran past and I went to chase him. Figured I might go for a run with him to see how well he runs and he runs bloody fast! I couldn’t believe that such a big guy (big as in built and not fat) could run so bloody fast! He did look rather funny though cause his arms can’t sit or swing against his body but they are some what stuck out to the side a little like the Hulk… but the man can move! Impressed!

He powered up the stairs and then down the stairs on the other side and I was in total awe. It then started to rain a bit more heavy and he kept going and I gave up trying to chase him. Ran back to the gym and then jumped on the treadmill for the rest of my session.

The rain died down a bit and then I went home… but had to duck and cover at one point cause it started to pour again! I got up and gave the family a call. They were still partly eating and my Nephew was being soooooo cute!! He was like “Where are you Uncle…” and then he was like… “Uncle D… pick him up from the airport!” hahahaha… and then at one point… he was like “Get out of the computer Uncle…”… (he actually puts our names at the end of Uncle… but let’s just keep that a mystery for now.)

He wasn’t as playful on the computer though cause he was a little pre-occupied with the features of Skype and clicking buttons on the screen but later I got to speak with my brother’s gf for a while. It’s so funny, she told me he was going to make her run until she pukes. HAHAHAHA!!! Hilarious!

Anyway, after my call, I went to badminton. There were a lot of drop-outs today so I got to play non-stop for a longer period of time. Exhausting!! Got my fix of Viet food afterwards and I went home to quickly go for a run. I did about 1.3kms before it started pouring down! It was crazy! I ducked into a bus stop to take cover… and as soon as it eased off a little, I went home… wasn’t worth getting sick over.

I messaged P&D and asked if I could use their treadmill. Sure enough, it was okay! Wooohooo! Packed a bag and went on over. Ran at a much slower pace on the treadmill… just something that I was comfortable with cause I was still a little tired. Did around 8kms and went upstairs for lunch.

Food was great! I wanted a double servings of it but I knew I had badminton coming up so I didn’t bother eating too heavily. I did have some of that turd coffee… LOL! It’s that Kopi Luwac thing. P&D brought it back from Vietnam. It wasn’t bad… they got it at a bargain price. Guess it pays to know people over there still.

I headed off after we had all finished and I went to Badminton. Played a lot of doubles games and there were two new people… and also two people that didn’t show up. It really was a day of doubles! After the session and after a Steak, I had double the desserts! It was good! I think I’m still finding my range on what is the best there!

We all headed home afterwards, no fun and games at someone’s place… and I went for my second run. Double runs today!! I was pushing the girls to run. Both K’s were neck and neck. Double K! Hahaha! After I got home from the second run, I was doubly tired! I can’t keep this up! But I know for the last 2 days, I’m going to have run double as hard!

I was going to be late, but I didn’t care, cause I knew no one would be in. I got in at 9:30 instead of at 8am like I usually do and I put the photos on the share drive. There were only 7 people in the entire office including the receptionist!! This is what happens when you have a party on a Thursday night! Even the HR team was off “working from home”.

My manager didn’t get in until about 10am and most of everyone else rocked up at about 1pm. It’s crazy!! I left at 4:30. I had a massive headache at the end of the day. I’m not sure why. I was feeling fine before, but I think I finally got the sting of dehydration! I crashed out on the couch and didn’t get back up until about 10pm… then I was screwed! I made a few phone calls again… (oh, I had a long conversation with someone last night after I got home… which was why I had to edit photos this morning instead of doing them last night… bloody call lasted till 3am!)… and then just chilled for the most part. I think I had dinner at 1am. LOL!! Instant noodles and SPAM. I felt so seedy afterwards!

I’ve started to play HKMJ again… bad sign for me. I’m determined to make someone go down to their final 100 chips but I’m sure the computer cheats!

Rock up later than usual, and leave at 11am to get on a bus to go to a resort / country club for the day for work. It was a nice place. I had time to place a lot of tennis which was great, there were free food and free drinks and everything was just fantastic! The venue was definitely better than last year!!!

I wonder if I would be here next year to enjoy it…

Anyway, the event was good. Played 2hrs of tennis with some work colleagues. The team mates were crap!!! Actually, JG was crap… even though I thought he would be okay because he said he plays with his gf a bit… and SR was total rubbish and just complains too much and then tries to dictate. I’m like… What??? But I was surprised by JF! He actually kept it going after the other guys went for a dip in the pool. TW is by far the best player though. Hitting with him was fun!! I loved it. I was able to get so much out of the sport without feeling strained at all! The hits were hard and fast and direct and I had a lot of fun. I kinda wished I played a game with him! I should have!! But hitting around was good enough!

Drinks that night was great! The speeches… not so… but we all had a lot to drink and the food was alright. I wanted a second steak though!! Took a stack of photos and at one point, someone was so drunk that they wanted to have a go at me for taking so many photos! I looked at him and said… “you do realise I’ve actually been requested by the business to take photos for the night!” OH, did I forget to mention it? The company asked me for a favour… which was to take photos for the day. LOL! How lovely :D Shame I don’t get paid to do it! They did pay for my taxi to get home instead of staying up there which was worth a fortune actually!!! All in all, it was a great night. I didn’t get to do any running though! D’oh!!

Movie, Concert… I have too many things occupying my time! I haven’t watched TV in so long, I haven’t read the paper in a while, I’m so out of touch with the news it’s not funny. I think I need to read a lot more and I definitely need to catch up on some other stuff. Right now, I’m a little too focused on running and resting.

I went for a run after work today and I was determined to just do 10kms and push through… but some how, I just kept running up and down, up and down, up and down the same track, hoping that I could push through and well... my target was to just catch up on 2 days worth of running… I did 4. So 20kms baby!! It was tiring and rough! I was soooo sore! My joints were so sore!! I put myself through so much pain! All to keep ahead with this challenge. Everything was being left till last minute. Even though I was running around like a mad man yesterday, I did it all over again today! Why can’t people get it right??! This is absurd!

URGH!

Anyway, after work, I went home and was chatting to a few people online and a friend of mine happened to be free to come to see Ice Cube with me. Woohoo!! So I headed out to The O2. I was walking around looking for something to eat but didn’t find anything I liked. So I eventually joined the long queue and my friend found me on the way. We were talking and it was good to find someone who understood what I was talking about because not many people are in the same industry. I only stumbled into it but there’s still so much to learn!

So… we were in the O2 and we had to go through a lot of security checks in order to get in. They opening act (Naughty by Nature) didn’t start until about 8:30pm or so and went for an hour before they had an intermission. It was great. I definitely liked NBN better than Ice Cube. What I didn’t like though… was the fact that they let people smoke weed inside!! Well, they didn’t try to stop them at all and the whole place stunk! I didn’t stay for all of Ice Cube… just couldn’t do it. NBN was so much better and more engaging and had better hits! Ice cube... wasn't as engaging... was fatter than I remembered and I didn't remember any of his songs. I left half way through... especially after more people started to light up!

HAHAHA!! I love free movies! I went down to Greenwich today after work to catch this flick at the Odeon. Another one of my free screenings that I get. It was great… when it got started!!!

The cinema screwed up. There was audio but no video for the first 5mins or so. Then they re-tried it a few times and it took them about 5 times before they got it right! It was worth the wait though. After a crappy day at work running around like a mad man trying to get documents to and from, it was definitely a sigh of relief!

The movie had you going up and down and there’s certain things you didn’t see coming and some things that were super predictable. But still fun to watch :D

Work was crap! Generated so many versions of the same report that I didn’t want to see another one of them for a LONG time!! I was running around the office like a mad man. I should have worn my tracker to see how much I was running!! Oh well!

I didn’t want to get up actually. It was one of those days where I just didn’t want to do anything. But I got up and made a phone call home. I know I used to call at 10am… but it turns out that 10am was too early! I must have gotten my daylight savings times wrong and they were just preparing for dinner. They gave me a call back at 11am and I had a quick chat before they had to go. My nephew was feeling a little sick so he didn’t want to stay too long. It takes him a while to warm up to people as well. I got to chat with him a little though but he easily loses attention. Oh well.

Spent the rest of the morning editing some photos and watching the F1 with TJ before he had to head to the airport. I went with him and usually it’s a quick in and out but there were a bunch of people in the queue with heaps of bags and he had to check in a bag as well and stuff like that so we just had to wait. And then the ladies in front of us took their sweet time and started to get other people to join them in the queue. It was ridiculous!! Anyway, made it in the end, I gave him a hug farewell and then went on my merry way.

I started to run home from the airport but I was feeling heavy and tired and it was hot and I was wearing a jumper cause I thought it would be cool and I was so exhausted… I got slightly lost and then I saw someone and I asked for directions and he told me where to go. And I found the bridge that I run past but had no idea where it lead to. It’s amazing! It’s only a short 4km run from the airport home!! I couldn’t believe it! Awesome new short cut.

Didn’t do much for the rest of the evening. Started to do some laundry but ended up just doing towels and stuff cause it was easy.

A Farewell Party for TJ.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z4FlyPLa3UA/ThxS2ARRMlI/AAAAAAAACFA/Ospcpij-e24/s400/hands.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5628464722045121106" />
So I got up and finished cleaning a few things and waited for TJ to get back before we headed off to Rock Climbing. He got back late and we rushed out of the house and ended up being about 30mins late. Not too bad considering it’s TJ! Rock Climbing was okay. I was part in the mood, part not in the mood. I still did my best where I can and I climbed up a few other runs that I didn’t do before. Although at one point, I climbed up and I really couldn’t get back down!! It was frustrating!

I looked at a few shoes in that shop and man they were expensive!! I don’t know how long I will continue with this sport. I think I want to build up some strength first before I do it again. I’m really going to have to use my chin up bar a bit more. Or I’m going to have to also do weights when I use P&D’s gym! Afterwards, we headed to the kebab shop and got some food to eat before going back home.

The other guys were going to be late anyway so we had time to kill. Played some card games and some mahjong and just had a general happy time easing into the Saturday. I showed them a few youtube clips and we had a battle of the crazy ladies on youtube. It was quite funny. The people started to trickle in after that and the party began. Food was ordered, more games were played… it was heaps good!

We polished off a lot of ciders, took lots of hilarious photos, and had an awesome time in. I wish I had a larger place so that we could play a few more games with the Xbox Kinect or something and we were going to get people singing but I got a hilarious look from DL saying that I should not subject myself to it. Hahahaha. Anyway… we all had a good time, heaps of pizza, snacks, drinks, booze! Awesome Memories! It was a great send off! The clean up afterwards… TJ fell asleep on the couch and I just cleared and moved things back to where they belonged. Thank goodness tomorrow is Sunday!

So… when I got home, I got changed, prepared a little and then went. The run started out okay. I think I’m running faster than what I first started at, I’m definitely taking a longer stride than what I first started at. It still takes me a while to get warmed up to running… approximately 2kms before I need to stop and take a quick break. I kept going this time and I saw a place that was near by that I haven’t run to before so I figured, I see a lot of people walk down this path, I’ll run it.

When I got down to the other end, I realised the gate was closed. So I turned back the other way and was heading back to where I came from when I saw another path so I took it. Turned, followed and next thing I know, I was near the University of East London… or at least one of the buildings. I followed the road around and tried to like, find my way back and one thing led to another and before I knew it… I was worst off than I started!! So I looked for tall monuments to run towards and headed in that direction and found the DLR way and ran along it until I finally got close to the Excel Centre! OMG! Thank goodness for that!!!

So I ran home from there and the total distance was waaaaay too long! When I got home, TJ was back. I thought he was going to be out tonight but looks like it was just some early drinks. We had dinner and then he dashed out to S’s. Good on him  I started tiding up to make sure the place was ready for tomorrow. It was going to be a long day!

The Party we had a few weeks ago was supposed to be just a taster and tonight was going to be the main thing. I got there waaaaay too early. I even walked ultra slowly from the office. Ended up there at about 5:30ish thinking that there would be someone there… but I saw no one!! And I was pretty much the first person to arrive. There were other people in our space but man… WTF!! Not to mention, they were reluctant to move straight away… but the bar organiser told them that it was a mistake that only one card was left on the table and it should have been for the whole booth.

Anyway, people started to trickle in and the fun started. Half price booze and drinks! Awesome :D I have to admit, it was quite cheap… and strangely enough, I was ordering double the amounts…. Man… it’s been nothing but spend spend spend lately. I really need to cut down! People were dancing and talking and drinking… but what was interesting was that people weren’t mingling. They were staying within their own circles and excluding themselves from socialising. I guess I could have made more of an effort myself but I don’t think I was in the mood. It was a Thursday night!

So the party was alright. I was rather tired so I didn’t stay too long. Left at about 10pm and told TJ I wasn’t expecting him to be home. Hahaha! Not sure what time the others left. Got home, sorted a few things out, edited the photos and published. And tried to have an early night cause I had to be in on time the next day cause my boss left me a message saying he needed all hands on deck! Sigh!!

DN couldn’t be here cause she needed to be away… but still… we had a great time! The Steaks were awesome! I still reckon I need more heat… I’m really going to have to use my gas burner next time to apply heat to the pan to cook the steaks from now on. I think the induction burners just don’t cut it!

Anyway, the meat was great! Nice marbling, thick cut, perfect :D I would eat like this all the time if I could!! But I seriously need to go buy some dumplings and stuff soon. I’m being seriously deprived!!

So… the discussion during dinner was the interesting part. We were all revealing secrets and things that people didn’t know about each other. It was a weird but nice bonding experience and also a little nice to get a few things out… at the same time, I was worried that it would lead to some other things that I was preventing. We’ll see where it goes.

After dinner, we were just having dessert and resting and chatting and the next thing we know… I’m moving the dining table back a little bit and TJ takes out the mahjong table… places it in front of Flo and traps her in. She was astounded! She was calling it Mahjong Rape. LOL!! Trapped in and forced to play. We played one wind round which was cool. We were all going for big-ish hands and she was having some killer luck on her side. Won heaps and kept the game going even though she had to go back upstairs. LOL! I’m sure this will be one of the fewer times I’ll get to play mahjong for a while. Might as well embrace it. I’ll need to send TJ the game to play!

Secretly I was hoping for bad weather so that I wouldn’t have to go… cause I don’t like the idea of having to shower at work… but meh, I’ll do it! The weather was decent so I went for the run. It was around midday and I told them that they would have to keep up with me or at least chase me.

I think I may have started off a little too fast. I was impressed with my time. They tried to keep up with me but they couldn’t really. I ran from the office to Westminister Bridge and back to the office. The guys cheated and crossed at Waterloo bridge instead of Westminister bridge and sent me a message to say they were at the London Eye. Cheats! I caught up with them and then led the way back to the Sushi place for lunch. Oh well, at least I know what speed they run at now. I should get them to train a lot longer before I run with them again.

After work I went home and dropped off my stuff before going to All Star Lanes for Leng’s surprise birthday. She had no idea that it was going to be a surprise party.

The party was fun. There was bowling and karaoke and food… the place wasn’t as big as the venue I booked, but there was definitely more food here than before. I think her BF just paid the excess to get it sorted. Though, I think they may have gotten a better deal cause the venue was smaller and there were less bowling lanes! But they did have more songs on the Karaoke machine! Who actually has a quiet weekend these days? No one!!! Everyone is usually busy enjoying the weather or going out to be social that they don’t actually have a weekend. People should work 10hr days and have a 3 day weekend where 2 days are used to socialise and party and Sunday is a proper day of rest.

So today after work I caught up with Tucky for the first time in months!! I was heaps early cause I finished so early… so I decided to just lie down on the grass of Primrose Hill and chill for a while. I was cloud gazing again. I love clouds… I can happily lie there on a grassy hill with the clouds going over all day if I had the choice to. The simple lazy life. Ahhh, that would be bliss!

Anyway, I was chilling out there for about 30mins to an hour before my friend called me to tell me he finished work so we could meet up. We went to this Russian place that was nearby for dinner and I have to say, the food was alright! I had a goulash and thought it was excellent! His salted beef was very… salty  We had a good catch up! He told me I look like a stick… hahaha… I’ve never been called that in my life! Well, lately LittleOx has been calling me Skinny Bitch…. Biatch! :P (but thank you!)

After my catch up, I got home… got changed… and managed to do a 13.81km run without puking up the goulash! It wasn’t easy. I wanted to rest but I was going to be behind on my runs if I didn’t do something. I knew I had a busy week ahead so I need to make sure I try and cover as much distance as possible!

I was actually rather tired cause I’ve been doing sports all day yesterday and I really really needed to rest… but I had a phone call to make and I wanted to see my nephew so I figured I better get my backside out of bed. At first though… when I got up… I heard someone leave… I thought it was the walk of shame for the girl TJ had over. Then I later realised that they both left. He walked her to the station and back. I was already in the lounge room by then and TJ went back to bed. He was too tired.

Called home and found out that Amanda wasn’t feeling too well. So she’s home bound and my brother has had to be like… a single parent for a week or so because it was too hard for Amanda to get around. It was good to see my nephew though. And the Franxtah was around. D was around but he was a little occupied… oh well…

When I got off the call with my family, I had a chat with Ray. Time difference in Perth meant I could talk to him after my usual call and it wouldn’t be too late  Had a good catch up! He’s doing well, and he’s cleared for running!! Woohoo!! He’s actually training for the City to Surf! I’m well impressed!! All these people who are training for the event back home makes me want to do it one time… Though, I reckon I would be heaps slow…

So afterwards, we caught up with some friends at Café East for lunch and did some light shopping at the decathlon near by. TJ finally got a pair of shoes he can wear since he forgot to bring his sneakers with him… but still managed to pack 30kgs of stuff!! PEEPS! Travel light!!! Anyway, we went to Kennington after to play some tennis. We thought we might be able to get onto the courts for free but the custodian was there so we had to pay. Tennis was great! I really really want to get back into it… We played for 2.5hrs or so and then went and got some drinks and whatnot and went home. TC came over to pick up the bag he left behind and we ordered some Pizza and played Lips and Guitar hero. Shame that my guitars weren’t working too well. I think they’ve gone stiff over time!

TC had to leave a little after and the rest of the night we just chilled a bit. About bloody time too!

I should sign myself up to that Total Wipeout show or something. LOL!

So this morning I got up at around 9am… after sleeping at like 4am the previous night… and I went for a quick 5km run or so. I call it quick cause I kept getting stopped and it was too sunny so I didn’t want to run anymore. There was a British Gas Greatest Swim thing happening at Royal Victoria through the dock and I have no idea how they swim through that crap. But the people who were organising the event kept getting me to go around the main area etc… it was just annoying… so I went home after I got over 5kms.

TJ woke up not long after I got back and we got ready to head to Rock Climbing… was a last minute decision too! So I packed my badminton gear cause I was going to go there directly after… and headed out to the Mile End rock climbing centre. Pretty empty, had free reign on a lot of the walls. Pretty pleased with that cause it gives you the opportunity to try walls you don’t normally have the opportunity to try. TJ was amazing. Just his strength was pretty darn amazing. I was pretty pleased with myself too. I went up 7 walls that I don’t normally do along with two other walls which I normally do. Very pleased with myself!! I do need to get myself some new shoes though… LOL!

We went for a quick bite after Rock climbing and headed down to Badminton. Badminton was great. Got a photo of all the organisers :D I’m so glad I brought my camera with me! It’s one of the rare occasions where TJ is in town and so was RB! Ahhh, our happy little family. LOL!!

After Badminton we had a quick drink and went over to Em’s place for her BBQ. Good BBQ… except for the fact that the BBQ wasn’t actually on and we were using coal plates and the Grill. Still managed to eat enough  Grilled a lot of veggies and meat… turned out quite nice. One of the boys even managed to pull… and was happy for the rest of the night. I didn’t stay too long… left before it got too late. TC & TJ came home with me… but only cause TJ needed to go meet VR and TC was going to join him. It was TC’s first time to Em’s and mine. Anyway, TC & TJ went out and I stayed in to catch up on a few things. Before I knew it… it was 3:30am and I get this bizarre message from TJ… looks like he was going to bring someone home. And when they did come home, I was still watching TV. LOL! Freaked them out a little… but that’s all I’ll say :D

It’s actually a little frustrating at times. He said it correctly, he doesn’t win many points… if any… but I tend to give away points like crazy. Double Faults, winners that turns out to be losers… over hitting… it’s not that easy cause he hits a lot softer so I have to drop my game a little and I think I over compensate. To his credit though, he’s ultra consistent. The ball will go over. So it’s like, a good challenge for me to make sure I don’t do anything stupid. Can’t wait for him to get lessons so that he improves faster :D

After a few rounds of hitting balls I’m pumped and I play extremely well. Then after a game or two (usually a max of two) my game slumps to crap! I need more control on light balls. Ended up losing heaps of games on my own serve. I need consistency!!

Anyway, after tennis, went back to my place and TJ had just moved on in! Ahhhh, it’s great to have TJ back! Missed having someone around who can reach all the nooks and crannies of my shelves :P (joking joking!). We ordered in from Noodle St and just chilled out for a while. It was great. I wish there were more days where I can just play tennis after work! The sun was brilliant. Played from 7pm to 9:30pm! It's sad to say... but now... my Badminton game is soooo much better than my Tennis game. Maybe I just need to go back to Aus... or... SK... It was the Glee Concert at the O2!! Woohoo!!! But the day started off with some shells… bomb shells. Turns out a friend is going to cancel on a dinner next week that was part for her due to some family incident that triggered a few other events. I had to return the fob to the gym to my friend cause she was affected too and needed her keys for when she gets back.

Was rushing around most of the afternoon to get things sorted out and returned in time… crazy! Ran into people at the station and next thing I know… I’m at the O2. So many new shops have opened up that wasn’t there before! I’m kinda glad they have a Tesco Express there now. There goes the high prices for stuff :D Everyone will now try and compete and keep costs low! Which will be awesome!

The Glee concert was good! It was a little too short though, but there wasn’t an intermission of any sort and they just played straight through. That could be why it felt short. But at the same time, we understood that kids and stuff were going to be there so they probably wanted to make sure it wasn’t a late one.

PP and I bought t-shirts. HAHAHA! And I bought one of those novelty giant L shaped foam hands. Should be hilarious at some dress up party.

I bought two packs from Waitrose along with ingredients for a Salad and went home. Marinated it lightly and then went for a run.

Before I went for my run though, I went into the Curry’s to drop off the Advent Vega at the store to get picked up. Whilst I was there, I got to check out the Acer Transformer and also the Iconic Tab and Motorola Xoom. The Xoom looks sleak but man it felt heavy!! It definitely had the best build and size though!! I don’t know what to do now… if my Advent doesn’t get fixed… I might get a Transformer… but I don’t know just yet.

As for my run… It was a nice day today so I decided to run outdoors instead of on the treadmill and I’m glad I did! All 3 treadmills where in use when I ran past the gym. Did a quick 8km run and went home to fry up my steak and stuff. 700gms of Steak and a massive bowl of Salad :D Energy replenished!

What was crap about the situation was that the Embassy was only open between 1:30pm to 3:30pm for notary services. Apparently, they were renovating the office and whilst that was being done, they only had one staff member outside to do any document work. GRRR!!! What’s worse was that it was pouring outside and the security is so high that you had to line up outside before they even let you in cause they scanned everyone one by one…

The embarrassing thing for me was that my belt beeped. When I took that off… my pants almost fell! OMG, I can’t believe I’ve lost that much weight that my pants don’t fit anymore!!! If my butt got any smaller… (which it won’t) my pants would just drop to the floor! Anyway, got in, waited for AGES before it was my turn cause the stupid lady in front of me just didn’t have her stuff together and was wasting so much time… and when it was finally my turn… 5mins and I was done! Total waste of time.

Also today, I spent some time dealing with Curry’s customer service… the dude on the phone had no idea what I was asking about even though he was in the tech team. He kept going um.. ah… just a minute… um… without actually telling me what he was doing. I got so frustrated that hung up on him and blasted the twitter page. Within an hour, I got a call from one of the good representatives who told me to take the device into a store and they’ll pick it up to inspect it.

Anyway, today was also DN & TJ’s birthday. But both were busy so… HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Though… TJ… we got you good the other day anyway! But since they were both busy, I attempted a run with a bag on… omg… I have no idea how the Cobbster does it! Ended up running on the treadmill for 13kms after… Go Men!
