Yes been a bit slack updating the blog recently (slapped wrists) but a combination of the bank hols and being 'pitched' inspired me to write something.

So what was I pitched? Well it was a website called Topwebsitez which claims to let you "Find the best sites on the Web".  These are then arranged by category and then you can see which ones are the best social sites, top sites for gamers etc.

It isn't necessarily a site for the web savvy who will have got their top sites bookmarked, but it could appeal to those less web savvy people who do need some guidance.  However, from the looks of it a lot of the content is quite US centric at the moment, so I wouldn't exactly say the results are that globally representative.  Furthermore, surely one of the charms of the web is finding or stumbling upon (oh yeah that is already taken) stuff so I can't see Google or Bing exactly quaking in their boots.
