Furthermore, at the show Microsoft will talk about an incremental update to its Windows XP Media Center Edition that is expected out later this year and show off Windows Automotive products for in-car entertainment and navigation. The company is also expected to describe enhancements it is making to its Tablet PC software.

On December 10, 1963, the United Kingdom granted full independence to Zanzibar after the Zanzibar National Party (ZNP) and Zanzibar and Pemba People's Party won the elections. The Sultan was a constitutional monarch.^[2] Initial elections gave government control to the ZNP. Karume was willing to work within the electoral framework of the new government, and actually informed a British police officer of the revolutionary plot set to take place in January.^[3]
Karume was not in Zanzibar on January 12, 1964 – the night of the revolution – and was instead on the African mainland. The instigator of the rebellion was a previously unknown Ugandan, John Okello. The revolution was violent, short, and the revolutionaries prevailed. Thousands of Zanzibaris, mostly Zanzibari Arabs & Indians, were murdered, with relatively few casualties on the revolutionary side. The Zanzibar Revolution brought an end to about 500 years of Arab domination on the island during which the Arab Slave Trade, most significantly, had resulted in a strong resentment among the majority African population.

Julius Kambarage Nyerere (13 April 1922 – 14 October 1999) was a Tanzanian politician who served as the first President of Tanzania and previously Tanganyika, from the country's founding in 1961 until his retirement in 1985.
Born in Tanganyika to Nyerere Burito (1860–1942), Chief of the Zanaki,^[2] Nyerere was known by the Swahili honorific Mwalimu or 'teacher', his profession prior to politics.^[3] He was also referred to as Baba wa Taifa (Father of the Nation).^[4] Nyerere received his higher education at Makerere University in Kampala and the University of Edinburgh. After he returned to Tanganyika, he worked as a teacher. In 1954, he helped form the Tanganyika African National Union.
In 1961 on independence, Nyerere was elected Tanganyika's first Prime Minister, and following the declaration of a republic in 1962, the country's first President. In 1964, Tanganyika became politically united with Zanzibar and was renamed Tanzania. In 1965, a one-party election returned Nyerere to power. During the first years, Nyerere created a single-party system and used "preventive detention" to eliminate trade unions and opposition.
In 1967, influenced by the ideas of African socialism, Nyerere issued the Arusha Declaration, which outlined his vision of ujamaa ("unity", "oneness" or "familyhood"), a concept that came to dominate his policies. However, his policies led to economic decline, systematic corruption, and unavailability of goods. In the early 1970s, Nyerere ordered his security forces to forcibly transfer much of the population to collective farms and, because of opposition from villagers, often burned villages down. This campaign pushed the nation to the brink of starvation and made it dependent on foreign food aid.
In 1985, after more than two decades in power, he relinquished power to his hand-picked successor, Ali Hassan Mwinyi. Nyerere left Tanzania as one of the poorest, least developed, and most foreign aid-dependent countries in the world,^[5] although much progress in services such as health and education had nevertheless been achieved.^[6] He remained the chairman of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi for another five years until 1990. Mwenyekiti wa Chama cha Waandishi wa Habari Mkoa wa Iringa (IPC), Daudi Mwangosi, amekufa katika vurugu za kuwatawanya wafuasi wa Chadema katika Kijiji cha Nyololo, Mufindi, Iringa.
Mwangosi ambaye ni mwakilishi wa Kituo cha Televisheni cha Chanel Ten mkoani Iringa, alifariki akiwa mikononi mwa polisi ambapo inadaiwa kabla ya kifo hicho, mwandishi huyo na mmoja wa maofisa wa polisi aliyekuwa amemshikilia, walilipukiwa na kitu kilichowajeruhi vibaya.
Akisimulia tukio hilo, mmoja wa mashuhuda aliyekuwepo katika mkutano hiyo ya Chadema, alidai kuwa kabla ya kufikwa na mauti, Mwangosi alikuwa katika majibizano na askari polisi.
Kwa mujibu wa madai ya shuhuda huyo, kabla ya kuanza kwa vurugu hizo, viongozi wa Chadema na wafuasi wake walikuwa katika mkutano wa kufungua tawi la chama hicho katika kijiji hicho.
Alidai kuwa wakiwa eneo la tukio, polisi walifika katika tawi hilo na kuwataka wafuasi wa chama hicho kutawanyika kwa kuwa mikutano ya vyama vya siasa imepigwa marufuku kupisha kazi ya Sensa ya Watu na Makazi ambayo imeongezewa siku saba baada ya muda wake wa awali kukamilika
Kutokana na amri hiyo, mtoa habari alidai kuwa wafuasi hao walikataa kutawanyika na kuwalazimu polisi kutumia mabomu ya machozi kwa ni ya kuwatawanya.
Wakati wakipiga mabomu hayo, inadaiwa mwandishi mmoja wa habari (jina limehifadhiwa), aliwafuata polisi na kuhoji sababu za kutumia nguvu hiyo kutawanya wananchi.
Mtoa habari huyo alieleza mwandishi huyo alikamatwa na kusababisha Mwangosi kwenda kujaribu kumnasua mwandishi mwenzake kutoka mikononi mwa polisi.
Shuhuda huyo alidai kuwa polisi walimsihi Mwangosi aondoke katika eneo hilo ili waendelee na kazi yao na alipokaidi, walimkamata na yeye.
Kwa mujibu wa shuhuda huyo, wakati Mwangosi akiwa amezungukwa na askari polisi wanaokaribia watano, kulisikika mlio wa mlipuko na baadae Mwangosi na mmoja wa askari aliyekuwa amemshika walianguka chini.
Inadaiwa Mwangosi alifariki papo hapo baada ya kujeruhiwa vibaya katika mlipuko huo huku askari polisi huyo anayedaiwa kuwa wa cheo cha juu, akikimbizwa hospitalini baada ya kujeruhiwa vibaya pia.
Alipoulizwa Mhariri Mkuu wa Chanel Ten, Dina Chaali ambaye alikiri kupokea taarifa za kifo cha Mwangosi lakini hakuwa tayari kuzungumza chochote kuhusu kifo hicho.
Dina alisema baada ya kupata taarifa hiyo, wamelazimika kuwa na mkutano wa dharura na uongozi wa juu wa kituo hicho na baada ya hapo ndipo watatoa tamko.
Kamanda wa Polisi mkoani Iringa, Michael Kamuhanda alipopigiwa alisema yuko katika chumba cha kuhifadhia maiti cha Hospitali ya Mkoa wa Iringa asingeweza kuzungumza wakati huo.
Hii ni mara ya tatu kutokea vifo katika vurugu zilizotokana na Chadema kukaidi amri halali za Polisi. Mara ya kwanza mkoani Arusha, watu wawili walikufa wakati wa vurugu za kutawanywa kwa wafuasi wa Chadema waliokuwa wamezuiwa kuandamana.
Hivi karibuni, mwishoni mwa mwezi uliopita, Chadema katika mikutano hiyo ya vuguvugu la mabadiliko katika Mkoa wa Morogoro, walikaidi amri ya kusitisha mikutano hiyo na kusababisha vurugu zilizozua kifo cha mwananchi mmoja aliyekuwa akijishughulisha na uuzaji wa magazeti.

Mbali na kusitisha mikutano hiyo, Chadema walisisitiza kuwa muuza magazeti huyo aliuawa kwa risasi na Polisi jambo ambalo lilipingwa na taarifa ya daktari aliyemfanyia uchunguzi, ambayo iliweka wazi kuwa kifo hicho kilisababishwa na kupigwa na kitu kigumu kichwani.
