No identifying information for this gentleman.  There is a tiny imprint on the back that reads “Collins Card,” but I’m not sure what it means.

This photo of an unidentified young man, was taken before 1897/1898 when the numbering system in Indianapolis changed.  William Simpson, photographer, is found at 94-1/2 E. Washington prior to the change, and 148 E. Washington after the change.

Both photos were taken in front of the same house in the same neat wooden chair.  The children are probably all related, siblings or cousins.  It looks like the boy on the right in the second picture might be the boy sitting on the stairs in the first picture, although it looks like he’s wearing a different hat (but it’s definitely the same outfit).

Two different poses of the same little girl.  She’s so cute; wish there was some identifying information for her. 

The photographer is Felix Schanz, who “was one of the most influential Fort Wayne photographers of his generation.”¹  You can read more about Schanz here (opens a PDF, scroll to Schanz on page 15).  You can also read his bio from the book Builders of Greater Fort Wayne here.

This cabinet card appears to be a wedding photo, although the couple is unidentified.  The photographer’s imprint reads:  Fichtel, 126 Bergen Line Ave., Union Hill, N.J.  Previous research on this photographer indicates that it is likely Sigmund Fichtel, who was listed in the 1900 census as a photographer, living in Union with his wife Margureth.¹
