Our last competition is in the books and the football team has played it's last game. What does that mean? Time to read Christmas music!

Not only is our Christmas concert coming up in mid-December, but there are a couple of auditions on the calendar as well. And I never thought that match-up would ever happen…but it did. The Lady Indians hosted Bama’s basketball team last year and, true to my word, I was true to my school.

I found out a few weeks ago that ASU is headed to Bryant-Denny Stadium on November 1st. I am so excited about the game. I hope that ASU does well (aka isn’t creamed).

And in recent news, Bama’s homecoming will be the ASU game. Not a terribly bad experience at this point but my face hurts and I REALLY want to clear my nose.

Right before I was "put under", the nurse told me which drugs they would give me and how I would feel. Oh, and she gave me permission to dream about cabana boys and strawberry daiquiris. I thought that was odd and funny.

The drugs are good, as usual. I remember complaining about how much my eyes hurt while I was in recovery. A nice nurse asked me to rate the pain on a scale of 1 to 10 and when I said, “11″, she promptly gave me a shot and I drifted into a peaceful sleep for three hours.

I will survive. Hopefully with fewer sinus infections.
